This is my alarm for school in the morning so that everyday feels like an adventure.
I found out that using a favorite song for an alarm made me start disliking those songs, I started associating them with going to school or work.
Rentiq this is old. but can you link me?
I made this my ringtone for Everyone who calls me.
Omg same!
U should try the song 4 outset island as an alarm. It makes u feel like u r in the game sorta
Admit it. Your problems went away for a while there.
Yup :)
DoctorXander the triforce is strong with this one
Yeah hahaha
More or less the reason I came here
Whenever i whistle this song or the outset island theme, my problems go away for a bit also haha
You don't just play Zelda, you live the adventure.
Yess 😀😄😁😆
pwoperbanana like Hilda?
ashthegizzgrizz you said it

Intertwining songs as seamlessly as this is hard. Mad props to Koji Kondo.
They probably composed this first (or the bulk of it at least) and then built all those other themes from little passages in this
Still clever though and love it :)
the music is one of the best things about games
@@richardgurney1844 no, they're from older games too.
I literally clicked on this video when I realized it uses Medli and Makars theme and to see all the songs used is clutch
Having the ear to spot these is talented itself. Props to you, too.
This song makes me emotional. My adopted sister and me never got along, she dove head first into drugs and acted like I didn't exist most of the time even though we lived together for years, but this game brought us together and gave us about a year of amazing memories when we played this game through 100% and completed everything. She suffered through depression for years, shes no longer with us now and this game is one of the only happy memories I have with her. I will always cherish it
Sorry for your loss.
I'm glad you were able to have something happy to remember.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Wow, this is so powerful to read. I'm sorry for your loss but I'm glad you have such lovely memories to remember her by.
✊🏻
It just progressively gets better and better as it goes on. Oh my god it's magic I don't understand it
there's no need to understand it as long as you enjoy it xD
Blueholeman exactly.... your mind just sorta melts with it
Highcalibur its zelda
Highcalibur it's called nostalgia, i'm not sure anyone understands it :)
Highcalibur yaaaaassss it's beautiful
To this day, i still believe that's the best Zelda/Nintendo soundtrack ever made, maybe the best video game music of all time for me
zelda the wind waker and billy hatcher have the best soundtracks in my opinion
The music in this game is BEYOND amazing. There is a reason why this is my favorite Zelda game. Outstanding music, cute graphics, epic story, and awesome gameplay. I could listen to this song forever.
Jacob B. P.S.S. He's 11 and doesn't understand that his language is bad and his interests will change like every few months.
+Gamermech10 he was suprisingly reasoable and calm for a 11 year old kid
***** ok
*****
You weren't being rude at all. He just severely overreacted :l
That's what makes Majoras Mask my favorite Zelda game :)
Challenge: Listen to this entire song without cracking a smile once.
Damnit I failed XD
That's impossible XD
Impossible bro
I did it! I had to rip out my heart and soul and i just barely did it!
das impossible
All of us have such an emotional connection to this game. It's the Wind Waker Generation. Just a tiny generation of us little nerds who grew up with such an amazing game, we get chills just because of the soundtrack.
Indeed. I miss it. Growing up sucks but I can't wait to share this with my daughter. Hopefully she will feel the same joy I felt for all the Zelda games... Always paints a beautiful picture. Thank you Link.
yeah this was the game that introduced me to Zelda, and this song makes me want to play it. (Thats actually nostalgia, you actually don"t need to cry. Nostalgia is just "a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations" according to the dictionary)
@@kdilla9364 did you show her?
Where is your adventure now savior?
The ending sounds so sad, like you're saying goodbye to someone you love forever....but maybe also meeting a new future at the same time!
yea just like leaving home konwing this is your first big jouney
Actually, I think you were just on a big journey and it was a very happy ending afterward. It sounds pretty peaceful and nice rather than sad c:
Does anyone else get a weird feeling in their chest as they listen to the song?
That feeling is called "happiness". There is no fear. Only the joy one experiences from the sweet taste of adventure.
+DAV3TH3ZOMB13 i prefer to think its a feeling of confidence that when you listen nothing can hurt you or will and that you are invincibal
Same. I always feel like I'm floating, and this makes me wanna ditch electronics and stuff and just sail, even though I have no clue how.
Renee Pantuso I have a fear of the ocean, and how empty it is. This fear had no hold on me when I played WW.
+Morafo Regnos it ain't empty there are so many things in it including the I think 98% of things that we don't know about
Had to break a tear. This song just brings back so many memories. One of my most favorite video games of all time!
I'm 24 and totally missed the zelda bandwagon growing up. I bought the HD version a week ago, and it's my first zelda game. I'm abso-fuckin-lutely hooked and I'm gonna buy more.
Always awesome to see a new Zelda fan ecspecially with breath of the wild coming out soon just saying I recommend link between worlds for 3ds and twiglight princess HD for wok u
Try twilight princess, ocarina and majoras mask. Theyre my favourite zelda games :)
Play the ones everyone forgets about. Like Minish Cap, Oracle of Ages and Seasons, Links Awakening.
+Connor Hopkins yes so right
Definitely try A Link to the Past, too!
I hate the part where it ends
Extellus So said every person at their death bed
@@unidorsalicosahedron7416 Shit man. Did you have to say that ?? T_T
Well I mean the part right before that was pretty tight.
@@S7yx0 Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't.
Extellus that’s why UA-cam made the replay button
this music just makes me fucking happy man
that's good to hear :)
+SonOfSebo Tell me about it! :)
Me too, bloody love it.
Every time I hear this song, I cry. I can't even play it on my flute because when I get going really well- well; I start crying. I remember sitting at home playing games and always ignoring my parents fighting in the background. It helped, so much. I get flashbacks to when I could sit and just enjoy life, whether it was watching my cousin play games, or what. I remember when this first came out, we scrounged up all the money we had just to get it, and we didn't regret ANY of it. I love this game so much it hurts sometimes. When the HD remake came out- oh man, I was ecstatic. The boss battles were always great, as with every Zelda game.
i love this comment. thank you.
And to think people said Wind Waker sucked when it first came out
Absurd
It won game of the year? Did people really say that?
DOC a lot of people didnt like the art style a whole lot when it was coming out yet some people still played it and I think it's okay to assume that word of mouth caused them to overlook the graphics and try the game themselves
@@SuperIceBro1 M8, the graphics of WW are timeless.
Π.Α.Σ. I know, Cel Shading really ages well!
I read someone played this song for their bride when she walked down the aisle. lol I don't gush at weddings but I thought that was really cute for a gamer wedding.
Zosalot Was it Gameinformer? I recall a little tidbit where one of their writers or editors mentioned having this song played at their wedding.
Gameinformer!! I remember his grandma or someone like that referred to it as "the cute Irish song"
A Link and his Zelda. It does sound cute.
Windwaker has the best music of any Zelda game hands down.
I don't know it's hard to top Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess
And OOT too
I think all Zelda games have good music to me it's hard to tell witch game has the best music. But I only have Ocerana of Time wind waker and twilight princess
it's my favorite one
Get Skyward Sword. The overworked is shity but the story and charictors are great.
this game caught so much hate when it came out because the cel shading approach lacked the "realism" that gamers wanted..Ironically that is one of the reasons it has aged so well. Flawless gameplay, great story, great score = my favorite Zelda game ever.
I played it yesterday, it's crazy, it's more beautiful than Pokemon arceus
Good art direction will trump what counts for good graphics every day.
@@millersimon6655 of course its more beautiful than pokemon arceus, it actually had competent optimisation and texture work
It sounds very Irish.
*****
yes scottish i like it
if this was played at the stonehaven fire festival that would have been awesome
It does...But it sounds great!
Zombified Teenager Love it
i think it is am lrish and this was at one of the lrish get to her
This one was meant to be more of an irish take on the series, but it's weird though since Ganon seems more Japanese, he even uses Japanese blades at the end.
Am I the only one who thinks this is the best Zelda game?
DoctorXander Nope
DoctorXander Most certainly not.
DoctorXander It's not the best Zelda game, every zelda games are good! But i agree it's one of the best Zelda games!
I love this game. It's in my top 5.
DoctorXander I also think this is the best Zelda game. If I get a wii u I would replay in HD all over again!
I listened to this song the day my cat died. I had known him since my childhood, and I had watched him take his last breath in my arms. Something in my intuition, my soul perhaps, knew to listen to this, the song from my childhood infused with the most innocent untouchable joy. I cried so deeply that night. I feared this song would be sad thereafter. But my intuition led me well; the memory of his passing is now immune, forever attached to this joyous song, heroic.
I am a 30 year old man who’s life has lead to me rarely ever shed a tear for anything. But I grew up with this game among many others and listening to this song for the first time in years almost made me cry out of nostalgia. To those who have felt the same, we are brothers and sister and I extend a heartfelt hug to you all.
R.I.P Satoru Iwata =)
+Diego Duran At least God can try his games now xD
Man, right when I read this the video hit 4:56. I haven't been choked up like that in a long time but that really hit me.
Hol Horse tge exact same thing happend here
Saw your comment, immediately choked up. RIP Iwata-san
RIP i believe there's a mountain dedicated to him in breath of the wild?
k just saw a ad for a Horror Movie.
Killed the entire mood.
sorry i have no control over the ads :c
Blueholeman no, I know. I'm just saying what happened.
Blueholeman in a humorous way
Oh okay :D
+IRL Gamer DAT'S WHY YOO GET KROME AND DOWNLODE AD BLOK
I'm from Russia, most people here don't even know about Zelda. Thanks to Breath of the Wild and the Switch, I was able to immerse myself in this universe and feel it. I've played Skyward Sword, Tears of the Kingdom, and am currently playing Links Awakening. I bought myself a 3DS and am enjoying Zelda on it, I've played Minish Cap, and am currently playing Phantom Hourglass. Wind Waker looks like something magical, fun, and cute. I really want to buy a WiiU and immerse myself in Zelda on it.
It's very sad that so few people know about this wonderful series, and it's also a pity that I was born so late that I didn't catch the release of the old legendary parts of the series.
P.s:
I wrote through a translator, there may be mistakes
This reminds me of a simpler time. A time when Zelda was still fun to me. A time when i still had all my childhood friends. A time when I didn't have to worry about the stress of the real world. Whenever i hear this song, i'm 17 again, and in high school, with my first real girlfriend, and all my friends, laughing and talking about everything and nothing at the same time- and i become overwhelmed with grief, that those days will never come back. This song encompasses the happiest time of my life.
+Yesman Gaming You found happiness before, so you can find it again. It may come again when you least suspect it. I'm looking as well.
+The Super Q Man sometimes I wish I could go back in time the GameCube/N64 era and play through all these games for the first time again... Smash Bros. Melee, Star Fox Adventures (Yes, I actually like that game), Star Fox 64, Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Assault... Great, great times...
+The Super Q] I remember staying up at night inside my blanket fortress with my bright red 3DS!
+Asa Holmes man, the 3ds is a 10s video-game
Ranisgley Pinto I meant DS! Aww, shucks!
Playing this on WiiU brings back a lot of good memories as well as a new fresh tidal wave of joy for my old-gamer heart.
***** ikr
Sergio Mireles I see what you did there.
Sergio Mireles I still own the original GameCube version I haven't played the Wii U version
If I die I want this song for my funeral with a slideshow of pictures. I don't have the gamecube version but I have the wiiu. Truly this game is a masterpiece, but overlooked by the cartoony graphics. May this game be forever remembered....
Ironically its "cartoony" graphics are timeless,a perfect fit for being a masterpiece.
I mean other games can look old like OOT,TLP,SWS,MM but Wind Waker look never age!
dafuq did I just read. I mean, I like the song and all, but I don't like it THAT much.
This is proof that I polluted the gene pool
i have gamecube copy for my backwards compatibile wii
I have this melody as my alarm set off, never get tired of it and always I wake up with a good mood. It's just so beautiful.
if i did that i would jsut sleep right through it because its such a great song to sleep to XD
Same with me too dude! By far one of the best video game soundtracks ever made!
My first Zelda game will always have a special place in my heart
It's things like this that make me regret letting my gamecube copy get scratched. I'm so happy it was re released.
***** I didnt hear any diffrence.
Ted Some songs do sound better with an actual orchestra than the GameCube’s synths, but I agree.
who wants to sail the Great Sea with me?
+Sara Kalkhoff] I'll get me fishin' rod!
I would love to
+Asa Holmes But the Great Sea is a fishless ocean. You'll have to go off the grid to find any fish.
i do~!
we need to find a new world and go out, start new civilizations. maybe they could do things without war, and things we couldn't do here. that new sea would be a new life for anyone- and it would always be better, as long as family and friends stand by you.
I love the Wind Waker theme! It just screams "adventure!"
one of my favorite music. and one of the best music from zelda.
Adventure!
YEAAAAAAAAH!
***** let me guess PBG fan much??
AMAZING!!!!!
AN ADVENTURE YEAAAAH
I got my first GameCube game ever back in the early 2000s when I was eleven, and it was this very one. I still have that very same disc and GameCube and I'm 25 now. This song always reminds me that there is an end to every storm in life, and that the sun will return and dry your tears once again. This game helped me through many violent storms, and I associate it with victory over the cruelty of this world.
What i thought when i played spirit tracks for the first time?
"R.I.P Hero of Wind, and thank you for everything"
Same dude omg 😭
This game is my childhood, it warms my heart to hear this themes and know there is still good music out here in this big wide world
As a Scottish person the fact they had Celtic influences and literally called a character MAKAR which is what our national poet is called makes me very very proud to be Scottish and we love the Japanese people 🏴 ❤️🇯🇵
Even though I was born a year before this game came out, it brings up fond memories of when I thought nothing of parents separated. This game, PMTTYD, and Double Dash have held me up through days of depression... Rest in peace, you masterpiece...
true
I love this so much. Every time I listen to it I cry a bit.
Same
Ezra Laguna I cry because I have a life now and no time for games ;-;
me too
and I $ound it too and I cry then too
I know
mike 6266 I remember watching my dad play this I more or less learned to read from playing Zelda this will always bring me back to simpler time
I need this song in a music box
I would cherish it forever-
;~;
ua-cam.com/video/4-fQA5T-tjM/v-deo.html
I’ve never actually played this game before but idk if it’s just the old vibes or something about this song I just get a really calm comfortable feeling listening to this
Yea man it's just one of those songs that captures so many different emotions
This song gives me nostalgia. I absolutely love this game and it is easily my favorite ever.
I know that this comment will get buried, but by listening to this song penetrated deep into my heart, unlocking old memories. My dad, me, and my brother all would sit down to play this game back on the GameCube. We would spend hours playing the game, and listening brought up those memories and I broke down. For anyone reading this, I hope that you spend your time wisely, call your parents, and tell them you love them. Time moves fast, and it doesn't slow down for any of us.
The one thing that torns me about is that its extremely difficult to rank Zelda OSTs
However, Wind Waker is my first Zelda game and I treasure this thought deeply. The theme is without a doubt the best ost of the series
This game means so much to me. It’s not only my favorite Zelda, but it’s my favorite game of all time. Every time I hear this song it puts me in tears of joy. This game is the first game that I can remember and it started my love for video games. If it weren’t for my older siblings showing me this game my love for Zelda wouldn’t be as big as it is today. No matter how many times I play the game ether on GameCube or Wii U it will always put a smile on my face no matter what. I will always come back to this game, even if it will be my last video game.
I've never played this (or beaten any Zelda for that matter, don't know where to start) but this theme.....wow. Absolutely spectacular music here
if you can get your hands on a copy of wind waker, would be a nice place to start :) ocarina of time or majora's mask are also pretty good starting points if you're just getting into the series.
Blueholeman I was considering Wind Waker (it really does seem like the best one from an outside perspective) but it's like 100 bucks! D: I'm thinking of getting a 2DS (so many good games I'm missing on there) and getting a Zelda as my first game. If I did it would be between Link Between Worlds and Ocarina 3D. Which do you prefer? The thing I'm really afraid of with Ocarina is it simply not living up to the hype (I severely doubt it's the "greatest game ever") or just feeling archaic. There's also the fact that I already know the basic story of Ocarina from Internet spoilers so that may hurt my enjoyment
hmm well i never got to play link between worlds so i couldn't tell you, sorry :( i did however play ocarina of time on N64 and it was pretty fun definitely one of the bests during its time. BUT it game out like 16 years ago and i wouldn't go as far as saying it's the "best game ever.' so that's my view. i mean if you have a wii u the remake of wind waker is like $40 if you really want to play wind waker.
Blueholeman Too bad I don't have a Wii U, and since it's a little bit more than 500 bucks on my country, I fear I will not be able to put my hands on the WW HD very soon..
Blueholeman I wound up getting Ocarina of Time and I'm starting right after I finish Galaxy 2 :)
This song just makes me feel so safe. I grew up watching my dad play loads of Zelda games and now listening to the songs comforts me so much.
true
This song is truly magical. Such a good Zelda game. I remember beating it for the first time when I was younger, and how happy that made me feel. This game is pure gold.
Probaly one of the most satisfying final boss kills in the franchise.
Wallz TheGamer Probably? Hell, man it IS the ABSOLUTE best :)
Vivek Tarkunde Ah, yeah
God, this game is so majestic… I remember playing this game for the first time when I was 6 years old, in the main menu, you can only hear the first, simple and "happy" part of the song, but when you've played through the whole and epic story, you get to listen to the whole song.
It really makes you look back to everything you've done in the game so far, and how you will never forget it. Myself, I've never forgotten how it felt to play this game to this day.
Wind Waker was my first Zelda game, and it will always have a place in my heart for opening me to a new series and leading me to some of the best video games I have ever played.
I don't care what people say about this game's art style. It's fine.
It's a great game, albeit slightly unfinished, though that isn't a problem at all.
Wind Waker is full of memorable characters and a deep storyline (for Zelda), with some happy moments and some sad ones. It's a beautiful game that I will always hold close to me.
I grew up with Nintendo, particularily the Mario and Zelda series, and because of that I still play those games more than any other to this day.
I just want to thank everyone at Nintendo for making great games for us all to enjoy. You guys are the best!
I'm not the biggest Wind Waker fan in the world (I don't dislike it, just not my fav Zelda game or anything) but THIS THEME gives me chills. I love it to pieces.
I first got to know this game through Chuggaaconroy's LPs when I was in high school. I was blown away by the story and decided to buy the game and played it with my friends which I still clearly remember today. Not only was the story amazing, but the art style and the music was also exceptional. Thank you Loz WW, thank you Chugga for providing me an unforgettable piece of my childhood.
As a still 12 year old, I found this game 2 years ago when I was buying games for my newfound Wii U. I had never even heard of the Zelda series before, and I wasn't very eager to try it out. Then, one day, after having played every other game on here, I have it a try. I absolutely fell in love with it. I loved the feeling of adventure, I loved the new worlds, I soaked up every bit of it. I spent hours on this. I loved finding myself frustrated and not knowing how to pass a certain area, and what was even better was when I finally did pass it. It felt like I was invincible. I remember finishing this game and feeling totally dumbfounded, and my mind was blown to bits at how incredible it was. I loved it to pieces. Upon finishing it, I didn't really know what to do anymore. I was still shocked at what I had just played, I didn't know what to do with myself. Then came the time I got my tablet. I immediately took to finding stores about other's experiences with this game, and
was so happy they shared the same experiences as I had. After about a year, I finally forgot about this game. Then, one day, while playing a Splatoon match, I saw the game sitting on my table. I replayed the entire thing and got that same happy feeling, like the one you get from watching a movie. I was so... floaty. Then, I found this. The first time I heard the full opening after the credit sequence I actually cried. To this day, 10 months after that experience, I still play this and tear up whenever I hear this. Thank you so, so much for uploading this.
Touching story. I experienced almost the same ;o That Games that gained a special place in ones heart, that Games you'll never forget a single piece. I could count out all that Story Events and Dungeons in most Zelda Games, because they're just so special too me and make me remember about that good old times. What effects music can have.. amazes me every day :o
+Renee Pantuso I had the exact same experience, tears and all, 10 years ago :)
Nice to see a kid today enjoy old games from another generation, don't see that often nowadays
I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm 24. Somehow I skipped over the entire Zelda series growing up
I cant say more other than wow. This game brings me so much memories of the past. Back were there wasn't any bad things happing. Where people were all friends. Ah. Those were the good times. Huh... I just can't express how i feel. Unless you count breathtaking a type of expression. Yeah this game is my favorite ever within in every game. Thanks Nintendo for making such wonderful games!
i can't agree more with you more...i miss the days when i was younger and didn't have to worry about anything.
yeah... good times
Same here
It's hard to believe that 11 months ago I was contemplating ending my life, this video helped me realize that life is a gift and I know that now....thank you, and may the wind always be at your back and fill your sails...
Pleins de belles choses à vous ❤
I hear this when I'm sad. I don't know exactly what happens, because I haven't even played this, but its theme makes me feel I can be happy, if I want. The other Zelda themes with differents moods, going into the happy song, do this idea most live. ❤❤❤ Thank you, Koji Kondo!
I remember when my brother and I used to sneak back home from family gatherings in the summer when I was little. We would go upstairs after walking home, and start playing either the Wii or the Nintendo 64. He would show me all of these amazing games he grew up with or enjoyed playing. I then grew up loving these games as well. I wish he was still here playing these games with me so I wouldn’t have to be lonely and cry during summer vacation about not having any friends anymore.
allow me to tell you the tale about how, roughly a decade ago, now, i attended a computer camp alongside other 12-year-olds dedicated to programming, animation, and gaming. my daily courses consisted of coding basic Python, animating and modeling in Maya (Lord knows i'll never be able to use that again with its price tag), going swimming, and playing Minecraft for the remainder of the day.
i had an absolute blast, and it being a college campus, that also meant that it gave me some... come to think of it, very well-needed insight into whatever college life was available to observe. but, for the most part, i have fond memories of tagging around with a few good friends i had made and have long-since fallen out of contact with -- this being long before the days of Discord being made and Snapchat being as big as it was among that age demographic -- singing Epic Rap Battles of History while coding simple, standard "Hello World" for loops in Python, building a beacon in Minecraft, or learning to make a golden barrel in Maya.
specifically, i have one very vivid memory of the four of us all crowded around my computer before class looking up music, and realizing putting this very song, from this very video, on 1.75x speed made it sound almost Irish. i remember us all giggling and gawking at this realization, talking about GameCube games, as they were, before being told to sit down and begin step three of the class' attempts at making a very basic RPG in Python 2.7. and i remember having my earbuds in the computer, humming along to the Wind Waker soundtrack while i "fought" my hand-created virtual slimes... text-based, of course.
that was a decade ago now. while i may still be young in comparison to some of the others who are in this comment section, it truthfully is shocking to me that i'm where i stand right now, with a potential job opportunity in devops, making my own legitimate side projects in coding, figuring out how this Blender thing works, and, of course, making beacons in Minecraft. sometimes, you just don't really change from how you were. and yknow what? that's okay.
WOO WOO FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE HD WII U BUNDLE! BEAUTIFUL BLACK GAMEPAD ENCRUSTED WITH THE HOLY SYMBOLS OF BELOVED HYRULE!
or those with the golden wii controoler encrusted with the symbol of hyrule
The only thing my gamepad is encrusted with is sweat and fingerprints. D:
+commander frostwolf I honestly didn't like the Wii controller thing. It was a bit too bold for my taste. Also, there was very little contrast between the imprints and the wii-mote.
I have a Switch and I'm trying to convince my parents to get me a WiiU so I can play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Of course I'm getting Smash 4 too. I played it at my friend's house and I miss it even though I have Ultimate
i have probably already left a comment on this video back when i first started playing Zelda, but idk ill leave another comment.
Idk why but i always find myself coming back to this game, I've beat it multiple times.. its the Zelda game that ive played the most. It was my second game and the first I beat...
I dont know why but for some reason when i play this game ... it feels like all my worries dont matter anymore.. im diagnosed with severe anxiety , and this game has helped me so much with everything...
The zelda series as a whole means so much to me. I started with phantom hourglass, and that game may not be the best. But it was still good enough for me to want to come back and keep playing more games. Ive now collected nearly all of the games.
This game alone is why i wanted to play more games, i found myself playing not very well-known nintendo titles such as Kid Icarus (i now have all 3 kid icarus games!!).. it also made me want to play earthbound/mother
I know u probably cringed rlly hard bc it was kinda cringe.. but i just really wanna say thay this game means a lot to me haha :')
Hearing the main theme to wind waker males me eanna cry. I have sooo many amazing memories plaing this game with my mom and sisters
Best part of this ost gotta be the Celtic flavor. Them bagpipes, that whistle, the violins it's just so good! Wish the Zelda franchise would go this direction more often
Just gotta say, the music in this game is amazing, still get chills. I love this game to bits. My favorite Zelda game, I had no idea what I was expecting when I bought this game, but it was so worth it, best HD remake ever, and one of the best games of all time in my opinion!
same bro
Eddie Fantasia i agree
Eddie Fantasia It's not a remake :/
You're Mom
On Wii U, it's an HD remake.
This is probably the single greatest Zelda theme out there. It is so adventurous and catchy, It just gives off such good vibes. The nostalgia hits me like a freight train!
One of the best openings for one of the best games
Zelda will always have the best music, and Windwaker has the best of it all. I love what they did with this theme. It makes you feel like going on an adventure at the start, but at the very end, it's like a somber and happy ending to a long journey.
this game is so special to me. feels great every time I listen to the soundtrack. brings me back to when I first played it
This song fills me with so much energy, if I listen to it in class during a test, I always do amazing. I am just mesmerized every time I hear this. This was the first Zelda game I ever played, and I returned to it early last year, the minute that I heard the title theme, I knew this was the series for me, since when I started playing wind waker again, I have played and beaten almost all of the games except Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. I will never forget the magic that this song delivers, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
I know there’s probably a version of this full song with better audio quality. But I listened to this one since seventh grade, it would be wrong to abandon it. (:
One of the best things in WW is that its full of life
My favorite video game of all time
I am beginning to think so, I started playing the game around six months ago, now I'm at the Earth Temple, I think it's my favourite video game I've ever played, period. I especially love the music.
I miss this game so much, a year of life was sucked out because of it, but I enjoyed it more than you could imagine!
***** Yeah, but its at my other house about 2.5 hour's drive from where I live currently...
***** There is no experience like the first experience.
Wind Waker is my absolute favorite game. I've played many great games like Mario Galaxy, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, and many other amazing games, but none has topped my experience with this game. This song reminds me of that. I always feel happy when I listen to this and I even sometimes feel like crying but tears of joy. I want to return to experience this new again but I can't but this song lets me feel it again and it's wonderful. Thanks Nintendo for this masterpiece.
true
I absolutely loved this game, i gave me nostalgia
Whoever made this song is an amazing person, I love this song more than almost any other song with words. Whoever made Zelda god bless you for making such an amazing game that makes everyone get to go an the most amazing adventure. It makes me feel like I'm 100% free and everyone always has a good attitude in the game, its literally magical. God bless anyone who came here to listen to one of/the best song in Zelda. This song always makes me emotional. Every Zelda game that I have played (Majora's mask, Ocarina of time, Twilight princess, Wind waker, Breath of the wild). Have all been outstanding the stories that they play is so amazing I always love all Zelda games.
So much nostalgia. Just replayed wind waker again and hearing the soundtrack plays a huge part of the enjoyment. Fantastic game
This reminds me of why life is worth living. You struggle so hard to keep afloat, but when you find true beauty it is all worth it.
Welp, I'm engaged now, and we plan on marrying in two years time. I am going to confirm that instead of the boring old wedding march, I am FOR SURE walking down the aisle to this song. So gorgeous and upbeat! A great sound of happiness and waiting adventures and nostalgia and sentiment. Definitely my favorite Zelda song. :) I also kind of want to have everybody who walks down the aisle do a cute little partner dance thing halfway through, just to fill time and add to the excitement! I want it to be amazing and different.
How did that turn out? I saw that you put this comment a couple years ago. I hope your wedding was beautiful
I am back to say... I got married to my husband in 2018.... It's been give beautiful years. We did the walk down after the ceremony to this, and it was so beautiful and perfect. Happy, bouncy music, we nearly ran and danced back into our home where we signed our license. We are more in love now than ever. This song will always mean so much to us. 💜
This always makes me happy since it's so catchy, but it'll always be tinged with sadness for me, remembering the king, and Hyrule being washed away, Link leaving his grandma and sister. So many feelings, but that's why I love this game!

Just hearing everyone's stories about this game is just amazing and it makes me cry just hearing the song and the stories.
TwT
man, this is a great theme to have stuck in your head
This game was so damn amazing waaay ahead of its time complete with the soundtrack of AGES !!!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL GAME !
I was born on an island (Cuba, specifically). I remember my grandfather used to tell me so many stories of the days he used to go fishing with his father. I unfortunately never got the chance to participate in any such outings, as my family and I had to leave the island due to political persecution and we eventually ended up in Ecuador. My grandfather, however, told me so many tales of his youth and I was so enthralled by his adventures and the idea of freedom in sailing.
I currently live in the States and on my third year of medical school. It has, thus far, been an extremely enriching experience, one that isn't without crushing stress, and it is at certain times that I find myself going back to these games of my childhood.
This one holds a special place in my heart and it is easily my favorite Zelda game. I never got around to sail with gramps, as he passed away before we had the chance, but playing this game always elicited memories of those tales he told me all those years ago. Every single time I'd boot this game up, I'd be filled with a great sense of adventure and desire for exploration. That's something I've always loved about it (and sailing in general): the idea of always looking to the horizon, always forward, to the next adventure. As I sit here, typing this comment, I find myself being grateful for video games haha. Bit corny, but man, I love video games, and I love Wind Waker.
had to watch a minute long ad with no skips, but it was soo worth it ;_;
yeah, im sorry about the ads i have no control over that :c if i had complete ownership over the song i wouldn't put them there but since i don't i can't. i personally am not benefiting from any of the ads from this video so by all means use adblock :D but you didn't hear that from me shh.
either way im still happy that you put up the song! Wind Waker was my favorite game ever and this song just melts my heart. I was just so amazed at the game when I was little and this song captures it all.
This may be a really outdated comment, but if you haven't already, get a Chrome/Internet explorer/ Firefox (ect) plugin called AdBlock+
It blocks all ads on websites including UA-cam ads.
Captain Klyde Actually, try to disable your adblock for websites you support. Ad revenue is pretty much what the internet runs on.
i was watching this on my phone, but i stand with elEscobar. we dont need to take away money from all of these creators who with these current events UA-cam has been taking from for years.
This is making me cry so much right now. I miss playing this with my dad as a child.
When I was a kid, I used to wake up on the weekends around 2 or 3 am to my mom playing either Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. Some of the best days of my whole life, for real. I hope we get to choose and relive our memories in our future lives. I want to relive it over and over.
I love actually seeing peace in the comment section of a video. And a great video, nonetheless.
The music brings a tear to my eye. Happy memories. :)
Good feels, man, good feels.
One of the best themes ever
Wind Waker was the first video game that I ever played when I was 4. I saw my grandmother playing it on her GameCube and was immediately captivated by the vibrant and colourful art style. This game has shaped me all throughout my entire childhood, and even into my adulthood. Even now, 20 years later, hearing this music tugs at my heartstrings and brings back that child-like wonder.
This just makes me cry I miss my other memories ;c
Ahhh... Game Cube memories coming back to me.... so.... soothing
good old days.
I'm still getting goosebumps everytime I listen to it.
If I bought Wind Waker and found that when I turned on the game all that was on it was this theme looping forever it would still be worth every penny.
Literally months of happiness thanks to this game. It's themes like these that bring back all the amazing memories of coming home from school and just popping this into my noisy little gamecube. Thank you, Nintendo, for all the memories and adventures.
