John wrote For You for his second wife Cassandra. He also wrote Annie's Song for his first wife Annie. Sadly both marriages ended in divorce. Both are definitely ideal wedding songs. He also wrote another popular wedding song Perhaps Love around the time of his first marriage coming to an end.
