Hideaway headlights full power everything including top fender mounted turn signal, high beam, headlight indicators.

Getting ready to rebuild the '65 327 with double hump heads for my '57 Chevy. Nice engines!
Have fun!
I had a 1968 Impala with the 327, 4 BBL, 400 Turbo trans, disc brakes, 15” wheels four-door. Was a great sleeper.
Oil filter by pass plug under the rear main .

Good to see another sbc getting slammed together Im in the garage putting a tbi block together with 882 heads for my 78 c10. Just order a Moroso brush kit to Clean all the galley's was watching one of your videos from 7 years ago
Sounds great! thanks for watching
The reason the accessorie.holes aren't drilled is because it's a 68, the alternator is on the left side, and used a different bracket than a 69
Nice Job as always
I appreciate that
SWEET
Thanks
I had a 1968 Chevelle 327 4 speed, now it is gone, my house is also gone, my red head girlfriend is gone, I still miss my Chevelle!
oh thats no fun at all
Trivia answer: rear main seal, forget that puppy and it won't take but once before you never forget again
The back 2 piece main crank. Seals
That would make them 68cc castings
You got semi high end parts but you didn't spend the extra money to bore the block???
The pistons are .030 over so ya I'm sure the lock was bored.
Kipchoge typically found in station wagons in that vintage
Was a good video but...... could have shown better details like actually showing how to line the rear main and also putting the freeze plug in under the rear main. But thanks for showing.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep it in mind for future videos!
Where did the alternator hook to?
Is that the 250 horse power heads
Push that rear seal flush
off set it helps stop the leaks
Did that motor have the large journal steel crank in it (4672/1130 forgings)? I know the 68' 327 trucks came with large steel, not sure about the impala's.
No this one is a cast crank
hello love your channel what type and brand is that torque wrench please
i think that was my snap on one in this video.
why do you wait and put freeze plugs and galley plugs in great video bear
I wanted all the paint work to be done cause using brass plugs
Hey Bear , nice build . What product did you use on the back side of the rear main seal halves to cure overnight to prevent them from rotating ? Cheers .
right stuff black
@@tlcbear2 OK thanks !
Why are the exhaust ports painted??
I got a 400 block those front motor mounts holes aren’t machined on the driver side
DID 1966 CORVETTE 327 HAVE LARGE JOURNALS
66 should been a small Jr steel crank
No
