I've been a graphic designer for 13 years and a senior graphic designer with my company for 6 years and I've gotta say, I just love your videos! They're so inspiring and thoughtful. Workflow of making moodboard
1. included photos and overall vibes of the brand.
2. colour palettes of the brand.
3. typography & fonts
4. packaging reference
I took the same notes 😂
So I made moodboards all the time before, and I was not realizing how many mistakes I was making. I was just throwing around some random icons and photos based on some keywords. Love this!

I was wondering if you could do a video explaining how you price any change/modification you client ask for ? As a freelancer, I'm quite lost when a client change his mind a lot and ask for a lot of changes that could be endless and impact your time a lot. Plus, even if I want to anticipate it and say "one change cost that much", one big change could take more time than 10 little changes so it's hard to mesure this and explain it to the client.

It's impressive to see the same pallette represents two different ideas of branding. Both are having their own representative to the market. 1st one is more cheerful, it's light it's energetic, it's happiness but it's cheap (if it's not so than it's just standard). 2 one it's way more deep coz the shady colours are put in all together, creating the impression of bold, calm, masculine one romantic. It's actually exclusive and real expensive as u mention your client wanna make it premium. Somehow I see it more lonely and old- which is coming into 2 framing, it's success and exclusive at the same times narrowing the market of the product. (It's just my opinion) but honestly I love both, if I had to choose one, I'll go for the second one. Thanks

Im still figuring my presentations to clients out and it would be very helpful if you did a full video on presentation and how you go about working with clients (even if you still changing things up it would be nice to see what you do now and what you plan to change plus then that would be another video for the future too!)

I have never once had a client send me a pinterest mood board. I've always had to do that myself via the questionnaire and client brief...dang...that must be nice!
Ohh I really recommend getting them to put some inspiration together! The main reason I do it is to see the desired design style they’re after. I’m more of a maximalist, vibrant and bold designer so if they’re after something minimal and neutral it gives me a good idea if we will be a good match for one another!

Hey Abi, I’m a huge fan of your work. Could you explain how to use the clipping mask cos I tried using it and it just says “can’t make clipping mask”
Noob question: are you supposed to pick the images you are going to use or buy if approved by the client? Or just a suggestion and you use similar?

When you started creating you begin to create your mood board in illustrator were you pulling images from Pinterest that the client put together or images that you choose from Pinterest personally?
