This was awesome Rachel!! I agree that doing either a video walkthrough or hoping on a call is so much better than just sending over a PDF. It certainly takes practice, but makes the process much smoother when they are clear on what your ideas and reasoning are for the choices made. Definitely I want to see more of these kinds of process videos and behind the scenes of bringing brands to life through the process and thinking.

Always love to what your videos, and how you go through the process. Also to see you sometimes struggle technical or creative wise, which makes your process so real and human. Thanks for that! I‘d love to see the logo process out of these moodboards. :-)) My favorite is the natural/greenish one ;))

I loved this video so much! Thank you! I'm new to graphic design and I wonder if you could do a video on how you present the information from either a mood board or a brand identity concept to the client? I wonder how much I'd need to say compared to what's already written out, and if there are any presentation dos and donts. How long should the presentation be? Maybe do a look recording of one of the conceptual projects to let us see what a recording should look like?
Thank you for all of your hard work! So inspiring!

Thank you so much for letting us know how a professional moodboarding process can look like.
I learned a lot and would love to see more content like this :) for example: how to create a stylescape or how to create a style guide and what to include.
    Keep up the great work!
    Best regards from Austria,

There are some upsides I find to doing this in Indesign. I like the Frame tool. You drop images in and it auto-fits the frame so I have Masonry templates pre-made and spend no time adjusting the fit. Then the Paragraph Styles are more in-depth so I can quickly update that. The Style Guide is made in Indesign anyway so do all the work in that file assuming it's included in their deliverables.

How can I make my Pinterest boards look like mood boards? From around the 12 min mark. She has it with just the images and not the text underneath. It looks so much better. Is it a business account or premium feature?

This looks like a great video, but it’s impossible to listen and concentrate on the info being provided with that absolutely ridiculous music bed running over it! This isn’t some emotive piece where a music bed would be used to convey emotion, it’s informational! Ugh……
