I already had a show before Grab Matters, it's on the Knot Future UA-cam channel and it's called "The Line Club", as it's essentially just a rip of "The Nine Club" skateboarding show formula. I should do more episodes but it's not actually as easy as you'd think to make happen since all the kiters live in such different areas. That said I could also try harder haha. Kiting is also such a niche that even if your show is successful you won't get enough views to be making any kind of decent money from it on UA-cam which makes it pretty hard to rationalise outside of doing an episode or two here and there when you can. That's the harsh reality of our sport.
@@le_tranq It's in great quality, but only three episodes a few years ago. Talk shows of like this should be released regularly all the time, I'm sure you know that yourself (consistency is the key to success), that's why I gave an example of “Grab Matters”, every week there's a new episode, and for some reason it's still interesting every time. I just wish you that (you don't have to of course)
@@Olegisrael1234 Consistency isn't the road to success for a sport like Kiteboarding because unfortunately there's not enough Kiteboarders to make a show like The Line Club profitable. The Nine Club releases shows regularly because they are making money from UA-cam views and Merchandise because Skateboarding is the worlds biggest boardsport (many times bigger than Kite). Grab Matters has been around a super short time and unless the industry supports them somehow they will also cease to exist IMO. The guests they have on the show are all Americans that are near-by, this also makes things a lot simpler for them. I'd love to do a Show like The Line Club and make consistent content but it's just not financially viable unfortunately (and likely never will be), I need to look out for my family first which means taking media work that pays before doing things like this which I don't get paid for. I wish this weren't the case 🙏❤.
Yep, unfortunately everything gets boring once you've seen it enough times and a lot of Big Air content looks much the same due to how it needs to be filmed.
Man keep making these!! Super good content
Thanks! Will try and do more when I can.
Great content!
Cheers man.
Proper C Kites need to make a comeback. Many good riders are being held back.
Definitely true. We really need to move away from C-kite labelling and just build new freestyle/ progressive kites and market them as such.
Love this. Nicely done.
Thank you! I appreciate the support.
You should do the show as “grabs matters” on UA-cam and podcast but for kite / wing industry , it could be huge
