It was a little intimidating, not gonna lie 😅 but I just had to tell myself, "These are people just like you and me. Just try to make them laugh a bit and not ask boring questions."
What an awesome interview so far! I’m so happy seeing you interview Ken and Roberta. You are absolutely in your element here. I love that you plugged Paul Morgan Stetler and Victoria Morsell’s Playthrough of Phantasmagoria over on Paul’s channel Conversations with Curtis. I have been watching them play it since they started. Great stuff, I hope Roberta takes the time to go watch a bit of it.
Well, I hadn't planned on discussing anything about the Sierra past, actually. All my questions had to do with the present and future. The cat/boot puzzle was just the first one that came to mind when Roberta asked for an example. 😊
@@hollyconnelly8871 Haha, yeah. I really wanted to do a separate interview where I asked one question about each King's Quest game, but she said she actually doesn't remember much about the details of them -- just a sort of grand overview.
@@spacequesthistorian I was hoping you would ask about King's Quest 2 throwing bridle on snake. No logic or hints that a horse was turned into a snake. i only guessed that after remember seeing a horse on the box the game came in.
Do any of you remember make your own Sierra game? You could edit npc text and dialog choices along with items and actions place npc in area, It did steal content from Sierra as it had content ripped from Kq2 and kq3. Like it had the docks from KQ3 and the church from KQ2. , Note make your own sierra game is not the real name but what it was called on BBS`s i think.
Did you consider possibly running a comb through your hair, or looking like you live somewhere other than a cardboard box on the street when speaking with Roberta?
@@spacequesthistorian Well, the hangover is standard. Frankly, I would be angry if you lacked a hangover. But, I feel that you achieved a new level of "I don't care" with your appearance. Certainly, this would have made a nice podcast.
I wonder if Microsoft would be open to letting Ken & Roberta do King Quest VR Space Quest VR game, That Sq3D demo showed how the semi 3D SQ3 could work great in 3D along with the other games. I know they would never be open to letting them use the IP outside of maybe a free fan game. But maybe a 50 50 deal they make the game Microsoft gets 50% of what it makes.
How awesome that you got to do this!!!!! I'd be so star-struck I wouldn't be able to speak...

An absolutely fascinating interview series.
Roberta Williams has such a natural gift to inspire people, in ways not unlike how Steve Wozniak inspires people just with by his natural positivity.
Ken and Roberta now, must keep doing all possible movements to create at list 4 games more!
Yeah! Colossal Cave Adventure 4D! Colossal Cave Adventure 5D!! Colossal Cave Adventure 6D!! And Mystery House II.
@7:02 Marcus just left to finish off Colossal Cave ;)
Don't watch my channel!!!! xD hahaha priceless
God, I hope she never does. 😂
@@spacequesthistorian Ken and Roberta: How bad can it be.... *click*
Stay cool, man, we do not will do that, so it's okay.
I would imagine they would find them funny(as they are intended). There definitely isn't a lot of praising of the game design though, lol
i'm surprise that you didn't go after the "Ifnkovhgroghprm" puzzle

@@spacequesthistorian it's okay, there is TOO many moon logic puzzles to remember; lol
