    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  3 роки тому +1

      You could always get two box fans. One in a window bringing air from the outside in, if possible, and the other fan facing out the door to help keep the air circulated. Just make sure the air isn’t blowing directly onto your work. You just want it to be lightly moving the air around and out.

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  2 роки тому

      You can add your images onto a plain painted cup. After you apply your image I do recommend sealing with an FDA compliant epoxy so the paint and images are sealed and last and the tumbler is safe to drink from.

    Hello! So I'm just learning how to do these crafts. Haven't even started yet, but I got everything but the InkJet printer I need to buy. When it comes to the waterslide decals and the printer, does it matter what kind of ink you use? Is it the regular ink that comes with the printer or a special type? Also, what program do you use to make the decals? How do they come out with golden shiny letters? Lol. I'm very new to this, still learning! I need to know every detail before I attempt one. I've been looking at the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 Wireless Color All-in-One Cartridge-Free Supertank printer, and the Canon MegaTank G3270 All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer, which I hear good things about for Tumbler making. Would you say these are good for this?

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  Рік тому

      Great questions. I am using a standard inkjet printer with regular ink. I do try and make sure the quality is set to the best it can be when I print pictures. You can print from any program. I typically just use Cricut Design Space, but I’ve also printed from Word and GIMP photo editor before. I can’t speak to either of those printers, but I have heard good things about the EcoTank printers. I’m using an HP ENVY photo printer, but it’s nothing fancy.

    You do beautiful work and are very knowledgeable. I have been trying to figure out a process somewhat like waterslide- I only know 1 creator who does it and it's a "secret"😉 this is being used for pen wraps- I have bought these wraps , the wrap has a plastic film over mirrored image, you peel it of- image is sticky(it is on white paper) you stick it on just a little bit, then spray the back-white paper with water and the the image comes off on the pen as you roll it. I hope it diesnt sound to confusing, would you have any idea what paper is being used? The lady uses a cricut, wraps come off in a sheet and she cuts the wraps, I have researched all kinds of paper and cant figure it out😢

      Spray paint your tumbler, print out your decal and spray the decal, after the decal is dry you can apply it to the tumbler, let that dry, give the whole tumbler a light coating of spray sealer, let that dry, then give the whole tumbler a coat of epoxy. It may need a second coat of epoxy just to ensure nothing will chip over time.

      I use The Stainless Depot and Mother Tumbler for blanks. I use Creative Fabrica for images. I use FS Supply Shop, Mr Nola’s and Alumilite for epoxy.
