What a magical journey! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful artwork with us!!! You two are amazing!!
What a treat for us! Loved the horizontal blue and red pots on the grid. Also the dragon flies. Wonderful artists.
Thank you! We love her video as well. and she seems to do it effortlessly. I love the pots on the grid as well. One of a kind and happy I got to keep it. He is no longer making the dragonflies, although I keep encouraging him to make them again because everyone loves them.
Thank you for showing us the marvelous creations of Mark and Marsha Rafter and their beautiful garden. Loved the interview and video!
Thanks, Pat. It was fun to do!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. She created an amazing video and it seemed so effortless for her.
Happy you enjoyed it. We think she did a fabulous job capturing our lives and the garden.
I absolutely just love the chemistry between you two, and I also love your beautiful home and amazing succulent art work
But the best of all is those stain-glassed windows
😃♥️✔️
Thank you Pam. We love our home and it is just perfect for us. Debra was so generous to do the video and not only that, she gave us many of the plants that got our garden off to a start. None of it was here when we moved in seven years ago.
Every piece of sculpture is magnificent! They all fit so well in their garden without the feeling of excess or competition with the plants. Marks pots are so interestingly beautiful! Huge thumbs up for this video!!
Thank you, Jane! I'm very glad you enjoyed it!
I am so grateful for your compliments on the work and how we have placed it. We both enjoy what we do so much. Amazing to have a husband who loves art and gardening as well. It makes his retirement so easy. I love his pots as well. He really doesn't make them anymore escept for rare occassions.
Gorgeous!! Great video! Great artists 🤩
Wow so inspiring. What a lovely artistic couple.
Thanks, Robin! I agree.
Congratulations for such a beautiful garden and home. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. We just love it here and Debra contributed not only this amazing video but a lot of the plants in our garden when we first moved in. We are so grateful.
What an amazingly talented couple who complement each other so well. And the garden is terrific too! Love it so much.
I know, don't they have something wonderful going on, both with their art and their relationship? They've been married over 30 years, have two grown sons, and Mark retired about a year ago from a career in engineering. Marsha taught art for years in schools.
We are definitely a compliment to each other in more ways than just our art and garden. We bith love cooking, reading, traveling, and hiking. Mark is so, so happy with his retirement. And I am happy he has his own studio and is not sitting around wondering what to do with himself.
This is so inspiring. Love how they bounce their creative ideas and skills off each other!
Their art works are beautiful! 🥰😍
Thanks so much! We are so grateful to Debra for creating this amazing video.

Thank you. We have so much fun and we just love it here in Escondido.
(3:45) - I’ve been wanting a Euphorbia polygona ‘snowflake ‘ for a while and Mark’s is a beauty that the one of a kind sculpted pot compliments perfectly.
Yes! It's a marvelous plant. Good pairing.
Mark makes really beautiful pots and I love doing the planting. That's actually how we met- in a ceramics studio in 1985. A match made in heaven. We have so many things in common.
I live in Tucson and recently I got interested in mosaic. Your work is stunning! Next time I go to San Diego I would love to visit your studio.
