    Oh my God Robbie 👏👏👏
    That's a very helpful formula ❣️❣️❣️
    And it will work for me us you said cause no creatures coming on my balconies ❣️ I'm on the 4th floor and never had any problems with mouses. I only have problems with cockroaches that Barbie, my crazy cat, kill them all 😂
    And my cat can't get in my totes cause I put chopsticks 😊
    I will not have any trouble using it❣️
    And I can get some for free if I ask from some people in the church who have babies to give me any expired formula if they have 🤗
    I have some issues with my zucchinis and some of my tomatoes us I told you and yes I believe that it will work for me too❣️
    And this is so perfect cause those liquid organic fertilizers are sooo expensive Robbie 😤 I went last week to the flower shop to buy some flowers for the church and I saw a liquid fertilizer that was calcium 15euros per litre 😲 soooo expensive... especially the liquid fertilizers 😤
    This formula can last for a year 👏👏👏 and in nowadays all fertilizers and soil can be so expensive 😤
    This is a very clever way to give our plants a booster without spending a lot of money 👏👏👏
    First I will ask if someone in the church have any formula that don't use and if not I will go buy one from the market. I will use it and let you know how my plants reacted ❣️❣️❣️
    You are a life saver Robbie 👏 You always find ways to make things easier and most of all affordable ❣️❣️❣️ and this is sooo important for all of us ❣️🌟🌻
    Thank you so much for sharing that with us too❤️ You are helping us so much❣️❣️❣️

      Hi Maria, I think it will give you that extra boost for those few plants that have issues, most certainly worth a try. Too many liquids plant fertilizers are made from synthetically created chemicals now a days, and people do not realize the impact as far as pollution created to make it, even the ones called ‘natural’…. Anyway, if I want to use something, why not a ‘food’ or product gentle enough for a New Born baby. Hope you can get some expired cans, that would be perfect. If you end up buying a can, get the cheapest brand, all are inspected and are perfect to use. I was thinking about your cat, but that is great. Still keep it under the soil, this is really for those microbes and any earthworms, that keeps them super happy which in turn makes your plants happy. And still continue to use kitchen scraps and any plant matter as usual when setting up your containers. This is only an extra boost. And again, Thank You for the Super Thanks 😊 ❤️💕 You take care!!! Thank You ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  Рік тому +6

      And remember, you now have earthworms in some of your soil, and microbes which you always had, plant fertilizer is NOT for your living soil, that is, your worms and microbes do not feed on fertilizer, this is not food in any way for them, it is only designed for plants, and in fact I heard that if something is put in your soil, and your earthworms aren’t happy they will leave. A worm farmer said that. There are no earthworms in store bought soil, they can not live in that, they needed real plant matter before it is broken down into compost, that is where the added leaves and food scraps come in, which you know. So keep that in mind. Personally I like real Living Soil, earth worms, microbes, whatever tiny critters break down the compost into soil 😊❤️

      @@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy Oh Robbie ❣️🌟❣️ I need to give you an update 🤗 And I'm so so happy 😊
      Unfortunately no one in the church had any leftover formula so on Monday I went to the super market and bought a small size formula the cheaper I've found.
      I did exactly as you said! And when I wake up in the morning my zucchinis, my peppers, my tomatoes and my eggplants was looking a little different!!!! They were more green, looking more strong!!!
      And that was not my idea cause the next day especially my peppers was full of new leaves, so green and healthy!!!!
      You remember that I told you my peppers was not going so well...and my tomatoes had blossom end rot...
      Well I am amazed what this thing did to my plants ❣️❣️❣️ my peppers had brown spots on the leaves and over a night new leaves from the side are growing so quickly ❣️❣️❣️ I'm so amazed ❣️❣️❣️
      My eggplants have more flowers!!! And the tomatoes that had blossom end rot new tomatoes don't have any blossom end rot❣️❣️❣️
      I can't believe it Robbie 👏👏👏👏 You are my angel 🌟❣️🌟
      With this and the compost in place Robbie you are changing the world of gardening 🌟🌟🌟
      Today I went on my balconies and put some more in my zucchinis and my peppers!!! Remember last summer when I asked you about my zucchinis why they are not fruiting? You told me that the plants were not matured yet. I think that this is happening now except from the weather that was cool last weeks....this formula is helping so much my zucchinis ❣️❣️❣️
      And you are right Robbie, this morning when I put some more in the same place in my totes I saw a big earthworm in that spot🤗🤗🤗 Yes they like it so much ❤️❤️❤️
      I needed to give you an update Robbie ❣️ You are absolutely right about the formula ❣️ You always find so clever ideas that definitely work best Robbie ❣️
      Thank you soooo much for sharing your knowledge and your expertise with us ❣️❣️❣️ Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Robbie, I have to tell you that you have changed my life. I am a farmer’s daughter, and I thought I knew a fair amount, enough to keep my backyard garden going. I knew nothing, but you have made me a smarter person. I have adopted your container, compost technique and have my daughter-in-law, saving all of her chopped kitchen scraps for me. Your baby formula idea is very interesting, I have a couple of sick plants that I’m loathe to give up on and now I’m going to see if that little trick works. I have also made a turkey, baster, hummingbird fountain, even though I have no hummingbirds. It sits beside my chair in the backyard and is very soothing. I wish I could show you what it looks like. ❤ thank you

    This recipe sounds reasonable enough to me, Robbie. We're experiencing too many downpours...even hail as well as partly cloudy & humid days. We're under Flood Watch in some areas & the mosquitoes have taken over even though I had Orkin fog my yards. I have 2 Enfamil liquid bottles that expired in April. My dogs are getting older, so I have some on hand in case they won't eat or I need to mix it with organic pumpkin when they have tummy issues.
    I appreciate everything I've learned from Gary & you. My Passion Flower is climbing like its own version of Jack and the Beanstalk. And to think she survived 4 yrs. & 4 days in a Solo-type cup for that long. Besides my dogs, she's my pride & joy. Much love & blessings, ~ Covah

      Oh, I hope your weather gets better, ours is just starting to warm up a bit so hopefully my powdery mildew will go away soon. Sorry on the mosquitoes, that is why I switched for catching water form my totes, to setting up flower pots instead. Great on your Passion Flower! Smart on you for keeping Enfamil for your dogs. I have saved so many animals on infant formula, where other Products had issues, never with Infant Formula. Gary’s first Heeler almost made it to 20 years old, and it was infant formula that kept him alive and healthy as he aged and ate less food, it was easy to digest and get all the nutrients he needed in a food type product. Well, you take care, hope the weather improves fast. Thanks 😊 ❤️

      I was wondering if you could keep me in your prayers...it would mean a lot, mostly for Grymm & Zarina. My 6 yrs. of sleep deprivation has left me with Petit Mal Seizures. We're doing 2 MRIs' on Wed. to see how bad my brain's damaged & also to look for any tumors. Hugs, ~ Covah

    Hi Robbie, I AM from Australia, but not the person you mentioned. I live in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia. The weather here is hot, hotter and hotterer! Because of the heat, we don't have a long growing season. I have several raised beds, but as age catches up with me, they're proving more difficult to maintain. I watched your video with the tote boxes and loved it. I have to say, your videos are so refreshing. Most gardening videos take so long to get to the point that I lose interest and that's the end of it for me. But you, you keep it interesting and up beat. Thank you for the tip. I haven't thought of baby formula as superfood for plants. And here I thought your secret was something taboo. I use other stuff that are making people more squeamish than that. But it's useful info to keep in the back of my mind. You're making me think what could be the active components in baby formula that are boosting plants to much.
    Out of my head, I immediately think that of course, calcium helps blossom rots and strong cell walls. Natural sugar would make microbes and worms and bacteria go crazy. Proteins and amino acids are indeed boosters for the micro-organisms. It makes sense. Will have to look at the percentage of potassium and phosphorus and other trace elements in baby formula.

    I do leftover protein shake that I don't drink down to the bottom of the container,the shake comes in. Doesn't always mix well. Since I'm on a high protein diet, do health issues.
    I only add this to soil or the pitcher method Robbie does. Some get added to my worm bin. I add the shake when cool out and at night so it doesn't spoild and the plants have to use time to its up. Disclaimer this wouldn't work, everyone. So please don't do this if your plants or soil doesn't need help. What Robbie said for the same reason, i use protein shake, and this won't work for everything. It just works to ensure your plants are healthy. It wouldn't fix the curling leaves. Might help with some yellowing leaves. Thanks again, Robbie, for this video.

    I will also use a plastic container with compost, baby formula and water. Robbie when you put holes in the container is it to water the plants or just to keep them healthy and vigorous.

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  Рік тому +1

      The holes are for whatever you want them to do, the holes where the water comes out, can lead into another pot underneath or a bucket of sorts, or if not, it can go on the ground but your containers do need holes to keep your plants well, drained and healthy

    It’s probably the HMO that’s in it. Human Milk Oliosaccharide. It’s a prebiotic and the microbes in our body love it too. They realize babies need it for gut health. I have a jar from Layer Origin (for myself). I’ll try it on my plants.

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  Рік тому +2

      You got it!!! ❤️😊 Some has to do with the prebiotics that the microbes like, same found in cruciferous vegetation (brassicaceae) and legumes. Collard compost tea I make…😊 which the plants love too ❤️

    Robbie would whole milk & or Ensure be good for plants, i have some that soured and didnt want to waste it? Thank you!! You have helped me so much! I am doing compost in place, container/tote/pots& buckets& have a few raised beds,Im also using milk crates and laundry baskets with cardboard blocking the big holes to hold the dirt in but still have drainage trying everything! Also square foot 🏡 ng in the raised beds, i think i planted too many plants in my totes last year ! Its all been a science project seeing what i cant kill! Im hoping for healthier plants this year im in s mobile home park and not allowed to plant anything else in the ground it has to be raised beds or containers now, their ground is clay & doenst drain , it floods when it rains anyways hoping to be eating what i grow this year!

    I was wondering if dried or plain cooked lentils or beans crushed to a powder would also be feasible, for that??? Of course the plain cooked could be mashed an dried……? Of course it doesn’t have any sweetness in them and may be not as much nutrients, and the liquid of the cooking of these legumes may be helpful.
