You really put me through the wringer today as my nerves were on edge. You’re unbelievable the way you have the ability to block whatever has happened out and go forward. You were king of the tiebreakers along with Novack and I am so proud of you. I enjoyed every minute of it, I was so nervous I had to cover my eyes.
Carlos has improved so much in the past two years or so. He keeps his calm and tackles the situation very well. Of course he has to be physically fit, and that he is as we saw yesterday. Taifoe is a great opponent, but Carlos is the champion. ❤❤
Alcaraz is the man Novak fears. Novak's injury was all planned. He prioritised Wimbledon over RG, because he desperately wanted to equal Federer's record of 8th Wimbledon title. Furthermore, ATP points system (it's a joke) can be easily manupulated to get a favourable draw for Wimbledon. All he needed to do in RG was to advance to a round where his points would allow him enough points to squeese in between Sinner and Alcaraz, thus avoiding both of them and getting an easier half of the draw. The draw of a major is not decided by the tournament organisers but by ATP ranking points! Therefore, imo, the injury was fake.
