- World of Warcraft Classic The Burning Crusade will be announced any week now, so that means we need to begin preparations for the opening of the Dark Portal; but what if you never played TBC before? What if you didn't get in to World of Warcraft until well after 2007? What can you expect in this first official Classic expansion? Well that's what this introductory guide is for. It's for those who are brand new to TBC, or it's been so long they have forgotten all about it. Sit back, relax and let's prepare ourselves for in my opinion the greatest expansion to ever be developed for World of Warcraft!

This is such a wholesome into guide, thank you! I think TBC will bring many new players, this will be very handy!
Beautiful Guide. Glad to see you doing TBC Content. Cant wait for more.
This was really good. Simple and straight to the point with each item
Your intro guide really looks the part. Can't wait for more TBC content.
Absolutely fantastic video! I can’t wait for more!
A perfect guide! Thank you!!
great video Ico!
Good guide! was confused on hit rating and hit % diffrence and did not find any other guides for it! thanks!
Very well done. Thank you!
Solid video!
I'm looking forward to your dungeon guides for tBC!
Hi, Im a big WoW noob and I found your video when I was searching for "How to improve my overall life skills". I watched this and felt like I could tackle the world! Thanks Mr. Icosiol!
Nico, you’re funny as hell bro. 😂
Nico, is that you?!
@@NebetSeta lol ya, I like being a smart ass some times 🤣
great video
Nice guide. I only started playing in TBC but you still managed to teach me a thing or two.
Can't wait for your rep. guides, I think I might concentrate more on rep this time round. I guess I'd better start getting my toons from 40-58 as quick as possible then lol
Yes you do! You must prepare for the unpreparable!
first time playing wow is with tbc i just started a dwarf hunter leveling through regular classic zones because i liked the idea of guns, homie keeps his thang on him at all times
ay this was real good
Just a comment to feed the algorithm ape. Nice guide, now hoping for a fishin guide soon C=
BC HYPE
I think the level required to learn the highest profession mastery is 50, but you said 60. I may be mistaken but I’m 99% sure. Great guide !
I didn’t see your comment until now, and I think you’re correct. Thank you for pointing that out.
I’ve never played this game but I think I wanna give it a go
Suo Ico! hope you're doing fine! Sorry for missing your streams lol been quite bussy! anyway, see ya in tbc nab!
That’s okay, bro. I hope you’re doing well! Get in here for TBC though, or you won’t be prepared!
Oh, no matter how much you prepare for TBC...
YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!
You speak truth!
This sounds like it was made by the guy who does voiceover for How Its Made. Love it
Lol...people have been saying this since I started with Classic videos, but haven’t heard it for about a year now. 😂 Thanks for watching.
Lfg-lfm Is awesome in TBC. If only blizz kept this system rather then changing it, they would have had much better success on other xpacs and shadowlands.. it would bring the community together better. interaction is needed unlike retail lfg.
Agreed, but what made it great was it worked on your server only. When it became a cross-realm it was awful.
Yea! 😎👍🏻
First 👆🏼
🥰🎊
Can you pick up JC from HH and train it all the way up from there? Or should any JC intended character be parked at Auberdene to pick it up form Exodar on launch?
Great question. If I recall correctly you must level up JC in the old world until you want to move beyond 300. I have looked up as much info on this as I could for my upcoming JC guide, and I see nothing that would contradict that.
Looking for Group did not start in TBC. It was improved in TBC. In Vanilla you would talk to an Inn Keep or click a meeting stone and select a dungeon that was appropriate for your level range. The game would put you in a group. But it did not filter for rolls. So often times it was just 5DPS in a group. So the system was removed. There is nothing wrong with server side LFG, I don't like teleporting to the instance, but as long as it is only filling with people from your same server personally I don't mind. Great Video.
While I do agree that there was a form of LFG in Vanilla, I am pointing out that the modern interface that started what has evolved to LFG/LFR now began in TBC.
@@Icosiol Right, and improvement. So what do you think about just dumping the current LFG into TBC Classic. Some people are asking for that. Or part of it, being the teleport to the instance side. Also if you have any sway with those Blizz devs tell them to let hunters tame GTSG please and thank you!!!
I would be really unhappy if Blizzard implemented current LFG for TBC Classic. Thankfully I believe they won’t of Vanilla Classic is used as evidence. Regarding having pull with Blizzard devs...man if I had that power...🤯
2020 corona to citizens of the world : YOU ARE NOT PREPARED
Hi! It’s Katie from Rage Box. Nice intro, though it kind of lost me. I guess I need a tutorial with less insider speak. Still, I liked it! Subbed.
Yeah, this is more for those who are familiar with WoW Classic already. I should make a beginners tutorial.
@@Icosiol That would be great! I’d love that!
Newbs in tbc like me basically have to solo until lvl everyone just boosts and im on full makerik server( probably spelled it wrong) im a undead mage let me know if there is a more populated zones to lvl in also are mages used in raids im hearing they suck in raids but others say they are decent. Im so confused and nobody wants to help lol i dont blame the though they have been playing for 15 years and have. Arnt just playing the game for fun like back then so i get it.
Strength 420 4:20
If Blizz dont anaunce TBC Classic big shitstorm incomming.
Right?
Sorry, Icosiol, I'm not the least bit interested in Classic TBC. When I signed the petition for Blizzard to bring back Vanilla WoW, I neither asked for nor expected TBC. It's Classic Forever for me. I want nothing to do with TBC. As far as I’m concerned, the TBC expansion is when Blizzard first began to tread down the wrong path.
Nothing to apologize for. I feel the same for WotLK. We love what we love.
Man so many of you are so dumb buying into TBC. This is exactly what killed wow classic the first time and now you guys are all open mouthed about this wow killer? Have fun grinding flying mounts and a dragon for months, and then flying over and node farming or grinding and then raiding. Wee.....Oh and have fun with Jewelcrafting, they might have taken out world buffs but now you have to get your Gems, and Enchants, and they never stop improving the gems, you're constantly replacing gems.
great video and all but why do you talk like a news reporter? :(
Lol...because I have done far too many presentations for work that it made me dry and boring.
To be honest, this guide became quite boring and dry very quickly. I'm not sure if it was the tone of voice or the visuals. But I don't think this is a very good guide for newbies such as myself.
I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it. What would keep you more interested?
@@Icosiol great response. I totally agree with your response. Can't get better unless criticism is taking seriously.
I also agree with the poster. In the first section of the guild you were reading from a script that wasn't entertaining you reading wasn't the issue the script was. I've been in so many briefings where clearly write one way and speak another. Some people try to use as many words as they can to explain something simple rather than using their own words. You should have been discussing the new races and their lore and racials as if you were telling someone about them and not reading from a PowerPoint slide and the visuals on screen were mostly static with everything you were saying already up on on display. If I turned the audio off I would have gotten as much out of it as if it were on. When you listed the classes the Blood Elves could play you should have shown their models in action for each class rather than a mostly static display of the Blood Elf models. When you explained their racials you should have explained it in your own words and shown what they looked like in action and how useful they are. Your explanation for Arcane Torrent was an example of using your own words and not using more words than you needed. Again a visual representation for Arcane Torrent would have been much better.
Please use fewer words and if you are going to explain something later find a way to say that only once and in fewer words.
I think it got better once you got out of explaining the stats that part was pretty boring, but I don't know if there is a way to talk about so many numbers exciting or perhaps
"also understand that for every percentage of resilience you have that reduces your chance to be critically hit reduces the incoming damage by double that percentage" You used way to many words here.
"each resilience percentage point reduces your chance to be critically hit by that number and incoming damage by double that number" or something like that for instance.
Thank you for the response. When I started this channel I wanted to bring videos that were simple and straight to the point. Perhaps I have been getting away from that and need to reevaluate my script writing. I don’t like being too wordy.
@@Icosiol Man, those guys are just not smart enough to enjoy your video and your words. Nothing was "too complicated" or "too difficult", it was straight up to the point. Don't fall into the trap of "dumbing everything for dumbs". Keep up the good work and continue to go in details, real men love in-depth analysis, real men love numbers and theorycrafting, those who don't are just not enough open-minded and brilliant.
