The rubber strips are so the stand doesn't slide on hardwood floors, and if you clamp the wheel underneath instead of inside the square tubing it sits flush when tightened with hardware. Just so you know not trying to be rude.

So I bought the shifter that comes separate from the G920 and it's well made and feels good, but I realized when I was playing Dirt 4 last night, you can shift without using the clutch, there's no difference if you use the clutch or not when ur shifting, which to me blows, because what's the point of the clutch pedal then if you can shift without using it, kinda cheesy, so there's no point in having a clutch pedal, it's just for show
Cycles Draw! Hey Dirt 4 is fantastic and may have a option like in Dirtrally2.0 for clutchless and clutch H pattern shifting w the G920. It may only work in Dirt2.0 but i really never tried to not use the clutch yet as I saw the option . Will give it a test out.
The game setting you can change to manual and clutch its not the wheel all game do this
Fun fact: You can shift a manual transmission without the clutch pedal also.

Those connectors are DB9 / Serial connectors, not VGA. (but I get why you called them VGA style)
Is there other handbrake that you can just plug in for g920 and don’t cost 300$
Hear hear! I've been looking too. Most are USB to PC but are expensive.
La Personne hope someone makes an adapter or some device to expend the Logitech’s accessories. Right now this is the only option that doesn’t cost a small fortune or require hardwiring the electronics.
In forza horizon 3 and 4 I switched my brake to the clutch and the clutch to the break so much easier to stop YOUR WELCOME.
That may be so, but the brake is supposed to be there and feel that way. Putting the clutch in the middle and brake on the outside isn't realistic, so there really isn't a point in doing so.
I have the stand and it sucks and none of the holes lined up the only thing good out of this was the sim
Kossav the stand did not line up with my old Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel but it works perfectly with the G920 . What wheel do you have?
i have recently bought and only used it once, since then i havent even touched sims. its soft as hell the whole thing bends when i wanna shift and even with like 30%ffb on the g920 it moves around like hell. im only 170cm tall and i couldnt set it up to be comfortable, because the pedals are way too close, and if i pull out the table holding the wheel out more the flexing will increase. i used it for like 30 minutes and it felt really uncomfortable

I’m a bit lost on how to set 4th as the the handbrake if you could please help it would appreciated
8:22 go to logitech wheel and select Input Bindings go to handbrake and assign it will want you to use the 4th gear to reassign the brake. Then ask you if its ok to have the 4th gear override and share hit accept or ok as you will not use the h pattern shifter and an automatic or paddle shift trans.
Can you connect 2 shifters (logitech) parallel..1 for shifter and 1 for handbrake on g923 logitech???
Never heard of that but there is a USB handbrake for g920 dual usb . You can use the whole wheel pedal shifter into the handbrake out to the Xbox.

Varoid think it depends on the material , Buna N has more elastic where Viton will not have as much give ?

SVTWRC i flipped the brakes and clutch pedals and this made a difference i can now put both feet thank you!

DINO SIBY that is a great question ! Don’t have a Fanatec but may be able to see if the connections work or if there is an adapter for the Logitech VGA style input.

@@Tguedes98 yeah i guess, but logitech is budget friendly and from my experience it seems decent. I wish they made different gear shifter knobs and hydraulic handbrakes from factory tho

It will only set u back like a couple 100 bucks, and the difference is night and day, I've played on a g29 from a friend with logi shifter, and i have the t300rs with tlcm pedals and th8a shifter, and believe, they're not even in the same championship. I even have a handbrake mod for the shifter that's a very good purchase, maker was peter makes things
@@Tguedes98 true but a Logitech g920/29 is £210 at max. Personally I haven’t tried a thrustmaster yet but the Logitech seems quite good for the price in my opinion
