Thank you for that. We had a new kitchen installed recently and they put the replacement tap in. I found that the internal pipe within the Quooker has an influence on whether the tap works but don't understand, when pipe is retracted, sometimes the tap works and sometimes it doesn't. Last year we installed a water filter system and the UV filter to keep all machines free from calcium, so minerals shouldn't be the problem. Some of my friends who installed a Quooker Tap said theirs worked perfectly for a few months, then didn't. We love our Quooker but it needs to perform all the time.
The company that installed the kitchen have contacted Quooker for a technician to come and service the tap last week but I haven't heard a thing.

Hi Neil, glad to be of service. I don’t know if you have, or are going to have, a Cube. If it’s the latter, hang on. There is a new version coming out with a slimmer tank and better pressure on the chilled water.

1. Would you use a Quooker with a ceramic sink?
2. Can you retrofit the filtered water option you mentioned?

Hi Dan. Yes I haven’t heard that you can’t use a Quooker with a ceramic sink. The only sink I’ve been told to be wary of is a Corian sink.
You can retrofit the cold water filter to most Quooker taps, but it depends on the serial number of the tap. Ask, wherever you bought it to contact Quooker and check your number.
Great vid thanks. It seems to spit a lot on the sparkling and also some on the boiling? Also when you turn the tap off after using boiling, does it stop straight away or keep running for a short while?
Yes it does spit a bit I think it's due to aerated water. It shouldn't continue running after its turned off
Hi I've got the quooker flex and the quooker filter, but not chilled or sparkling, I've plumbed it all in. But my question is I'm abit confused, on the normal tap I have hot water and cold water. Double click for boiling, but how do I get filtered water out of the tap.
Hi Nial. No problem , you say you have the Quooker filter. I presume you mean the cold water filter that you buy as an extra. If so you needn’t worry. The cold water will automatically be filtered, you don’t need to press any other buttons or anything
Just obtainn d Quooker Fusion square tap with filter. How can I use filtered boiling water (for tea etc)
Hi, congrats on your new tap. The cold water filter is for the cold feed only. But don’t worry , the boiling water is filtered as standard, you don’t need to do anything, just fill your cup.

Yes, the spice rack. It’s part of a range of wall hung accessories from a kitchen company called Schuller. I would expect most of the better class German kitchens would have similar items. You do, though, have to fit it into their specific splashback system
Very good video thank you. When I replace my co2 it hisses for a long time when tight and seems to empty the tank quickly. Is this a fault?
Hi, thank you for your encouragement, much appreciated. The only time you should near a hiss is when you fit a new cartridge and tighten it . The hiss signals that it is connected properly. If it is doing this continuously there is something wrong. Contact Quooker service

Thanks for the video it's very informative I intend to buy the Flex with the cold water filter. Does that filter the cold water before it goes into the boiler too?
From one Robin to another, thanks for watching. Not quite sure what you mean by "boiler". Do youmean the boiling water tank or your actual boiler?
@@TheKitchenDesignExpertsI mean the Qooker tank. I don't expect it to filter the whole house just the boiling water for tea and coffee and the water from the tap we use for vegetables and for drinking.
I'm not interested in the cube because we don't need sparkling water or chilled.
I get that The sparkling water comes out with a less than normal pressure. Is it also normal when it actually shuts off before filling a standard cup.
Hi, no it shouldn't run out like that.If it does there is a problem, get on to Quooker service
We bought the boiling water Quooker tap which lasted 5 months then didn't work. Quooker sent another one and we couldn't find a plumber willing to install the replacement. We have just had a new kitchen installed and the plumber installed the replacement tap. This one doesn't work either and, yes, we know how to use it but as soon as we double click, nothing happens, would someone PLEASE tell us why. We contacted the firm we bought it through and they just tell you to ring the Quooker technician.
We need a Quooker technician to come and see why this tap won't work. All connections are in place, the red light on the tank is on so, what now?

Hi you do seem to be encountering problems. First of all the tap will be under warranty so you must get Quooker back to service it. I have sold these taps for many years and have encountered few problems and those that have arisen have been solved by Quooker service. The only thing you can check yourself is that the water pressure is up to 2 bar. Below this the tap won’t work properly.

Hello Remo. Thanks for watching. In all honesty I don't know!. maybe try to contact Quooker direct and see if the have any distribution in the States
Definitely would not recommend to a family with small children around even with safety measures it's just not worth the risk with with scolding boiling hot water coming out of a tap.
Stick to a traditional kettle unplugged & switched off & very much cheaper
Hi, thanks for the comment. I have to say when these taps were first introduced I felt exactly the same and actually talked our clients out of having one. Citing your point, danger to youngsters. But over the last 15 years my experience of selling literally hundreds of these taps has changed my perception. As a designer all I can go off is customer feedback and frankly we have had no adverse comments. I know our client base tends to be older but most have grandchildren and I’m pretty sure that if a child had been scalded my clients would have let me know. I appreciate they aren’t right for everyone and sometimes peace of mind is more important than a quick cup of tea. Speaking personally I have both a Quooker tap and grandchildren and I love them all

@@mrdemocracy7106 I own a Quooker myself and it is really quite safe. There is no way anyone will be able to get boiling water from it without prior explanation. It even releases plenty of steam and makes a lot of noise so you are very aware of it. I have accidentally touched hot kettles before, but there is just no chance here. Not being on the counter doesn't invite anyone to play around with it either and you can't put things that don't belong in it. Your drawer with cutlery or the stove are much bigger hazards. The only real drawback to it is the hefty price tag, but it really is a bit of a luxury item.
