    Eddie Murphy is BACK! Axel Foley hasn't lost his charm, and the action feels like a fun throwback.

  • @bidwell13
    @bidwell13 5 місяців тому

    10:10 Eddie Murphy improvised the whole “supercop” routine. It was a long day and Murphy didn’t do any drugs or drink caffeine. He gave in cause of the long day and had a little coffee which gave us the supercop scene. You’ll notice Taggart (John Ashton) holding his head. He’s actually trying not to laugh and ruin the scene. Then Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) was grabbing his thigh pinching it trying not to laugh. 13:22 the paper in his hands is the movie script. He read his lines before coming in the camera. Billy is my favorite character in this series. I love how they did more with him in each movie. A lot of people don’t like the third one but I love Billy in the third one. Waiting to see what they do with him in the new one.

    • @RhetoricalThrill
      @RhetoricalThrill  5 місяців тому

      Billy is such a great character! His progression is what I love. Axel is great but he’s kind of perfect already, for what he is. There’s not much room for him to grow. If Billy isn’t done dirty in 3, I’ll probably watch it on my own because I do love him that much 😊

      And I was an art major for a while, and I changed majors because I couldn't stomach how pretentious the "scene" was. And if you can't tell if something is made to be art or to poke fun at art, then it's not good art...it's just ego. I once read an article about someone setting down a pair of glasses in an art gallery, forgetting about them, and walking off. Then people started gathering around them and discussing what they thought the glasses represented.

    Sorry but the 80's absolutely does not look like the 70's at all... I lived the 80's everything was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the 70's (design, colours, state of mind, fashions,musics, colours, hairstyles, makeups, not the least ressemblance with the 70's, I mean nothing at all !!! I don't know on which basis you can say "most of the 80's are like the 70's, that's empirically wrong... Sorry, I had to tell it
    Edit : oh, what you said just after is completely different and that is true ! The very start of the 80's was much like the 70's, but the years after since 1984, and even maybe 1983, everything was completely different from the 70's... So that's not "most of the 80's" as you said just before... On the 80's decade, 4 years were more like 70's (kind of) and 6 years were like the 80's, so most of the 80's are like the 80's 😉
