While Cassia is gone, the developers will continue to improve things on a MUCH bigger scale! Shoutouts to SRC267, Derek Turtle Roe, EZontheEyes, raniel6842, Edrokski777, huckleberrypie and Nolife for the news tips!
Was Cassia alive to begin with, since it was never released? I would argue that it will be alive from NOW, since they're apparently releasing the code before shutting down the project. But if they don't, how do we know it wasn't a hoax from the beginning? Cassia is basically Schrödinger's emulator.
Yeah.....not exactly....winlator is the best windows emulator but....Tekken 6 boots and shows only black screen and Tekken tag 2 plays on 12 fps.... really laggy too......and my phone is a snapdragon 8 gen 2 red magic 8 pro with a built in fan ......I don't think phones are up to task yet
It makes sense to me. I'm also glad the Cassia devs gave us this announcement, too. As long as the information is public, I look forward to the day a Cassia inspired project shows up.
It always sucks when big projects like Cassia cease development, but ones health should be ones highest priority! And good on them for making it open source that’s awesome. Kingdom Hearts price on steam is so surprising I may or may not have the whole collection on ps2 and ps5, so I”m good personally, but on the go kingdom hearts might be good!

Same thing with strato, they tould us it would release at the end of last year then pushed it back.. now it's basically dead were just waiting for the announcement

Really wish they would have kept the name as Mister Pi. Pi is supposed to mean something is an SBC. Atomic Pi, for example. If it has a fruit in its name, that means it's an ARM SBC, for example Orange Pi. Mister Pi would have fit in with the former.
I have never once felt the desire to even go near FPGA, especially for the price. I see no need at $99 either because every game that I could ever want to play, does so perfectly well in emulation (which FPGA is too) on other platforms. ARM is very worried about where Qualcomm is going that threatens to really shake up the market and have potentially devastating consequences for it and X86 too. So no surprise that it is going on the offensive. Apple will be looking over their shoulder too.
