Well, the basic gameplay was mario party without minigames at the beginning moreso than monopoly. Although, monopoly where you can add a rule every time you pass go is pretty fun.
Nobody ever thought hitting the demon in the face could do it lol so funny. Thousands of wizards dead after thousands of hours researching incantations and in the end someome's just like "wassup wassup???"

The thing that I really liked about this is the Slime. It didn’t have a purpose at the start. It wasn’t really important But overtime, it became a major point of interest and protected the players from the ray. If that slime didn’t exist, everyone would die. Rip Slime, he was a Chad
Even better is that the slime itself still didn't actually have any rules associated with it. The rule that made the slime important was a rule about the demon, that it's afraid of the slime.
As a game designer I have to say, this is way more balanced and polished than any AAA titel i saw in the last 18 months, and its awesome. All these new features mmmmhh 11/10

I had a game like this I played with my friend when I got bored in school. I called it 'Heart Attack'. One player attacks and one player defends. The player who defends draws a heart anywhere on a piece of paper, and the attacker attacks in any way they want. After the attacker attacked, the defender defends the heart in any way they want. This continues until both players agree that the game has ended (usually at the end of the lesson or after someone gets bored.) What I like about it is that the game starts off very simple, dropping anvils and summoning shields, but eventually you need to hack into the security system of a government airship to disable the power grid and open up the door protecting the heart from a nuclear death ray you summoned.
I think a hard rule to start from is "no retroaction of any form" and "all current rules apply to all aspects of the game unless explicitly stated otherwise," to remove cases of ambiguous interpretations.
I played this with my friends, we created a currency system with a shop, screwed each other until we all go into debt (negative currency) and changed it so the shops accept debt Good game

I know, it seems weird to formalize a system as open as this, but having a solid foundation of rules to start out with would give you a lot of stuff to change as you go as well. I... actually did that yesterday after discovering this channel getting the same idea from a different video before I knew this video existed. It's a bit more organized and restrictive since it's intended for all participants to be on equal standing at all times. Allowing the changing of multiple rules violated the golden rule that was *just* changed since it allowed exclusively Noah to do that. It should have allowed *anybody* to do that (which wouldnt have actually *done* anything in execution but if you're gonna set the rules you gotta follow them)

Yeah, it makes me think this GM would be one of those DM in DnD who TPK the party at least once in three sessions.
The rule hurt the demon because it made it so they can target the demon with negative rules. Also let the GM make positive rules but it was 3 on 1.

and since he had the most flamingoes at the end of the game, he should immediately win

Using a flamingo to go somewhere I guess or something like shop and getting something that kills demon

Three rules to break the game:
For the rest of the game, the rules I make are golden rules
No players can land on Flamingo spaces without my consent
I can teleport to any space on the map
All of those violate golden rule: rules cannot be bound to one player.
Also he can veto
Second rule is invalid as it’s not the golden rule ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’ your new rule is now ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’ /joke

this was fun, reminds me of when I played Calvin chess with my friend in middle school. Calvin chess being chess but you can add one rule each turn(no insta win rules allowed), memorable rules include; "this pawn inherits the horse and equipment of the knight you just captured so now he can move as a knight in adition to as a pawn", "this pawn climbs on top of the rook and becomes an archer and can kill any piece a queens move away without moving there" and "this rook you killed ages ago returns to the battlefield after becoming a chef in hell and sneaking out the kitchen entrance in hells kitchen"
This is a beautiful combination of improv, DMing, and intellectual sparring. I love it!
