That engine reminds me of some buses that used to operate in Wagga Wagga NSW. They were Renault agoralines once owned by former operator Fearnes buses in Wagga Wagga NSW.

Why gearbox make sound when bus is just stay in place and not move?
The gearbox goes into a "false neutral" whilst in drive and the planetary gears are still spinning, but not transmitting drive.
