Transperth TP1882 - Mercedes Benz OC500LE CNG (Loud ZF)

Possiblly the loudest ZF gearbox in the Transperth fleet prior to its withdrawal. TP1882 putting on a littlle deonstration of just how good the Mercedes OC500LE CNG buses can be when driven right and looked after mechanically. Of course there are plenty of worse examples!

I would drive buses again if they sounded this good. These days they are extremely boring. These and the older V8 PMC's (either 5 speed manual or 4 speed Allison automatic) had the best sound and were fun to drive.

Turkey, Ankara's fleet has a ton of MAN Lion's Classic CNGs with older ones (2006-2008) having ear-blasting Voith's and newer ones (2009-2011) quiet ZF's. this is my first time hearing a ZF in its full glory lol

Seem's to be only a handful of loud ones over here, Sydney buses have way louder ZF boxes from what I have heard. Could be something to do with the body building and sound prroofing?
