My son and our friend. I am 62..3 kids 17 G.kids and almost 2 great g. Kids. John 5 is THE BEST CONCERT I have ever been to. I love in Oregon and have been to concerts all my life. This man is something outta this world I was memorized and danced the entire CONCERT! Right up front. After 72 close deaths in 4 years. This man brought me back to my soul of what music and life can make you feel.... He healed my soul!!!
He's a really wizard of the guitar, has complete command of the instrument.
His FULL show is even better ! Modern day vaudeville. He is truly a master performer !!
I spoke to him after the show and he said he wasn’t familiar with the venue so he didn’t wear the makeup. But still, the dude doesn’t really need to wear makeup to play like he does.
Awesome show! Got to meet him, and he is a genuinely nice person that truly appreciates his fans.

This show was awesome. Best show I’ve ever seen at Ramshead. I can’t believe it wasn’t sold out. John is a virtuoso guitarist and great entertainer.

I have about just discovered this guy. I agree he is a guitar virtuoso but I wouldn't pay to see this. In my opinion in order to fully appreciate his show one must be a guitarist. Same thing for Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Satriani, etc.

John 5 displays TOTAL Mastery of the Guitar.
Great recording. J5 is a master of the guitar. He makes it look so effortless and yet you know how technically difficult it actually is.
I love that his primary influence was Hee Haw. That was a very underappreciated TV show; they all made it look so easy. John 5 is incredibly versatile...what a talent.
If you haven't seen Roy Clark, please search some UA-cam. Absolutely stunning. It's because of John 5 I have a new appreciation for Roy, as well as Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, etc.

All customized,double and triple bindings,just exquisite guitars..

You know what's funny? I respected John 5 for his Guitar World videos and his interviews. But it wasn't until I started watching these live vids of him & his band where I REALLY started to dig him. Thanks for these vids! I didn't get to see him when he came to Sacramento in January 2020. Regret it now but John 5 is now one of my all time favorites. And his " Invasion " disc is super awesome! Thansk for the upload!

I was there and it was a small venue with tables and chairs every where. Very cramped. Still was awesome. He will be in Baltimore with queensryche and I can't wait

It was a sit down venue with wait staff serving the guests at tables so I guess he was just trying to blend in to the venue, the fans would have enjoyed it either way. A lot of artists who are used to aggressive audiences are taken aback some by this venue.

cheryl hinneburg : John had walked downtown Annapolis before the show and my friends and I were hanging out front, when he came back a fan stopped him to talk briefly before he returned to his bus and a homeless guy came up to us and asked if that was John, we said it was so the homeless guy knocked on his bus and John gave him some money.
It was a great show . But was anyone else pissed that they didn't play an encore? There was plenty of time. He didn't even play an hour and a half. WTF JOHN5 C'MON MAN. Pisspoor IMHO. Again ,the show was great, just not enough of it.
