it’s great experience and although it sucks to be unpaid i’m a unpaid fire fighter in a internship program and the free foot into the door is price less.
Facts! Work for me but for free... GTFO. Work is work, pay or keep it rolling. This, i would hope, would do away with useless internships where you are just coffee running and doing useless crap.
@@ManiacMeats for multiple careers there are thousands of candidates looking for one job but who would you rather higher if everything else was even, the one with months of experience as a intern or the one without experience ? of course the one with experience but i do agree that some internships are useless and have you as more of a maid than a assistant but there’s some like mine that get me first hand experience on a fire engine as well as volunteering when needed and getting to meet the ones interviewing me for the position in the future.

The only downfall of this channel is that they don't do any traditional blue collar or trades jobs. I'd like to see the welder in dirty jeans making 200g a year etc. It is more common than believed
Why didnt the first guy just say he makes $1500 every two weeks instead of saying $4500 over 6 week period? Tried to make himself sound like he was more paid than he is lol. Maybe to somebody slow.
@@mlbnate89 you’re right I actually thought about that later. But do interns only get paid at the end of an internship? I thought they get paid in regular intervals, if they get paid at all.
@@goudagrishhdoe8925 with stipend internships they get paid at the end almost always. I've had hourly paid internships and stipend internships, so speaking from my experience.
I love the kind hearts 🥹 buttttytttt, it’s a shame that unpaid internships are a thing. Who wants to work for free? Who can afford that? And they are the ones that want to help the most vulnerable population. The kindest hearts get the largest shaft to the arse in the US. Yeahhhhhh!?!?!!!!!! 🙄
Unpaid internships shouldn’t exist

If they didn't exist, then fewer people would get summer job experience.
@@ledzeppelin1212 cop out. They should be paid
I love the dude at the end. $0 but has a kind heart, i hope he finds his dream job.

You him
Dang, my internship paid more than all of these and I live in a MCOL area. Accounting is where it's at.
Nice one.. you should start a series on college students and how we make it work.. especially returning students with family and responsibilities 👍🏼
Gotta do those interns to boost your resume. If you can, get paid to learn.
$4500 for 6 weeks. Just say $3000/month bro
Maybe he gets paid in 6 week intervals. Or it’s only 6 weeks long?

Yes, I would like to see Hannah some Blue collar workers, especially Welders because I'm one of them!
Mother’s, don’t let your children be adult interns or social workers.
When I was intern, I was working for free
It was an investment
PsyD is a psychologist, if you want to be a therapist save yourself the time and become a social worker, MFT or counselor.
But the dude wants his doctorate. He can be MD or DO psychiatrist

Intern on Capitol Hill. Many positions are unpaid, some have stipends like those in the video, some are paid hourly.
I cannot imagine working for free
You probably work for free for three months of the year to pay the IRS.
