Those welds are garbage. If you don’t think so, you’re not a welder. Remind me not to buy something from here

Needs to slow down a little and baby wash as he pushes.
I always push with MiG, and Tig..(if possible).. sometimes you can’t because of where you’re welding at.. but just want to give my weld the most time inside the gas shield as possible. And you get much flatter better looking welds when pushing..generally anything that produces slag I’m pulling, anything that doesn’t I’m pushing.. in my opinion! To each their own though! Heck of a trailer! And dang good craftsmanship, and knowledge going into that thing! Clancy is one lucky dude to grow up with a dad as involved in showing him how to be a young man with a dang good work ethic as you are! Well done!

Very cool how it comes together pretty quick. I got to go with my sons ag class to tour Priefert in Mt pleasant. Pretty neat to see how they make pipe from coiled steel.

I got certified at vo tech when I was 18. I don't use it for jobs. Only for my ranch.
I prefer stick over mig but when building something that heavy. I would use mig.
He should go get certified. There's really good money. If I wasn't living in Oklahoma and ranching I would go get certified for diving. You can retire in 10 years if your money is saved right if your a under water welder. Scary thing is. That's if you make it 10 years welding under water.

Honestly when I got certified in welding it wasn't for my ranch. But right after graduation things change and I don't regret spending the time learning to weld. If nothing else fails. I can always go into the pipeline or something. Have a good one yall. Stay safe.

The chain spools are for the main reason of the chain slides on them easier than in the stake pocket.

I built a few flatbeds myself, took axles off dollies so the trailer would have a vin number easy, made a bunch of 26’ trailers. Was pretty easy to be honest.

Put a hitch receiver on top of the goose neck so you can have a portable winch place quick mounting point

You want those cross members cut unto the frame a flush on the top. Makes your deck 4" lower and a heck of alot stouter.

Good video, but I am confused about your trailer designs. This one the axles are at the back putting one h*ll of a load on the back of the tow vehicle and then your 18 wheeler designs have the axles half way up the trailer putting a high load onto those axles and little goes onto the tow vehicle. 16:57
