I might’ve told you before but I’m a huge Sofirn fan. I have around 25-30 right now. I keep them in the Jeeps, toolboxes, closets, tool cabinets, etc. They make great budget friendly lights. I don’t have the SC33 so it would be a nice addition to the collection
I was going to start researching a new flashlight so I’ll stop here and save time. Looks like a good piece of equipment at a fair price. My old favorite mag light finally quit.
I started with the Maglites years ago and had the Brinkman spotlight but weight and bulk have made them obsolete. I like to keep smaller lights that use AA or AAA batteries. Got a few Life+Gear lights that are lightweight and light up when dropped in the water but are not very durable and don't have the lumens. This looks like a good alternative the heavy bulky lights and looks durable. Will check them out...thanks...P.S. I am a prepper in Missouri and I believe the lens of this light is like a magnifier so could be used to start a fire if conditions necessitate.
Excellent flashlight review, Sofirn has a good budget and worth the quality provided, I really like it, I wish I could have an SC33 to accompany my SC18 when going camping
I haven't received mine that I ordered yet...but I'm looking forward to it. It was recommended to me to use the Vapcell F60 21700 as the battery of choice. 5800-6000mAh and effective for this light long term. If I can remember I'll come back and let you know how they compare to the factory battery. Nice video, thanks for sharing!
I think it would be the best alternative of nitecore edc33 , just one issue though the slide lock in nitecore gives a little confidence in locking the flashlight
I've really enjoyed your videos, especially the DIY solar generator. However, I couldn't imagine ponying up 60 bucks for a flashlight. I usually get the 3 pack from Costco and keep batteries on hand. Is the difference really that great? Is a 400 dollar Benchmade knife any better than the 40 dollar Buck? Great stuff coming from this channel. Keep up the great work
How long will the included battery hold a charge if unused? Is this something that you can fully charge and not use for a period of time and be assured you can still use when needed?
Lithium batts can hold a charge for a very long time. Full charge and wait 6 months and you’ll likely have at least 80 - 85% of the battery charged still.
As a first light is this a high recommendation? Is this a glass or plastic fresnel? I heard that the sc32 is plastic, I assume that glass is recommended over plastic.
Quick question, if you are using the SC33 on medium and turn it off, will it go to medium on start up. If not, what mode will it turn on at? This is once again on sale on Amazon and I am ready to pull the trigger. Thanks!!!!
@@GearGadgetReviews I just received my SC33 today. My current flashlight is a 212 lumen Coast PX45. The SC33 blows the PX45 out of the water. So happy I pulled the trigger on this light!!!
good video and also a very good flashlight, very suitable for outdoor activities because of the many light spills that illuminate the whole yard, thank you sofirn thank you brian, good luck #BrianWatersOutdoors
This is one of my dream flashlights but I have not been able to buy it and wish I could have one to help my activities while fishing at night, please put me on the giveaway list and wish me good luck having my dream flashlight

Fantastic light it seems, thanks Brian!
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice, perfect timing as I am looking for new bright flashlight for my woods when dogs out to replace old spotlight. Thanks for info.
👍🏻👍🏻
Love small Flashlights, keep them all over for camping. Have a CrewCab and try to keep one in each door.
👍🏻👍🏻

You really can’t beat Sofirn for value. I have the SC28. Simple UI, 2800 lumens. $25. It’s a no brainer.
👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks...I'm also an Olight fan but this is worth checking.

5000+ lumens is crazy in that form factor! Cool light
👍🏻
Just picked it up for $44.00. There was a 30% coupon on Amazon. Great deal!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cool video brian, that sofirn light seems pretty high quality, especially for the price.
👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent lamp, I ordered without battery because I use MOLICEL P42A. For the money, I have no complaints
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for intro/review-am a flashlight “addict” and always looking for another good one!
👍🏻👍🏻
Is flashlight addicting? I am about to buy my first one, looking at sofirn sc33.
I like that Sofirn flashlight....nice and bright!
I have a flashlight and gadget "problem" too!😂
lol👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the the review on this amazing light option.
👍🏻

This does have a lockout mode, you just need to use the tail switch. Not quite as easy as the nitecore though
Just found your content. Well done! Lights, heaters, action! Thanks
Thanks!
Another great light. Thanks for the review.
👍🏻
Sofirn is impressive. I've been looking for a light with more output. This one could definitely replace my old 6V yellow camp light. :)
👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve got a lot of lights. There is a big difference between a $5 AA light and a quality LED light. In this case I do feel you get what you pay for.
Awesome light at a more "affordable" price. I might start getting into Sofirn!
👍🏻👍🏻
Cool light i need one of those for sure
👍🏻
Great insane torch and chunkie beast with a solid build.
👍🏻👍🏻
Looks pretty cool. Big fan of flashlights.
👍🏻
Cool compact light great camping flashlight.

I have been looking for something like that for my kids college cars - just in case of breakdown.
👍🏻👍🏻
Good review! I’d love to have one of these handy, hand warmer flashlights!
Would go great in a new RV😉
That’s exactly where I’d use it too.
Thanks for the review. Cheers!
👍🏻
Who doesn't love free LED flashlights?!?
👍🏻👍🏻
Love the video on the soffrin light
👍🏻👍🏻
Great review..! Another awesome light from sofirn
👍🏻
nice light like the flood instead of all the zoom lights
👍🏻👍🏻
If I win, I'll send you a real Tennessee Vols mug so you can dispose of the Texas A&M thing that you used to drown your other light.
lol👍🏻👍🏻
Damn that's insane. I definitely need this. I hope I win.
👍🏻
Curious if this light has held up after all this time. I see Amazon has this listed as a "frequently returned item" That makes me leary
Mine is still working just fine👍🏻
As a first light is this a high recommendation? Is this a glass or plastic fresnel? I heard that the sc32 is plastic, I assume that glass is recommended over plastic.
