Seriously, f*** Olight, their proprietary chargers and proprietary batteries. Even Apple stopped doing this and switched to USB-C. I'm not buying any of their products - even if they are great - until they've changed that. We live in 2024, it's about time to stop those caging tactics.

Olight has a magnetic Usb A to a magnet tail charger that can charge the Baton 4 or any Olight with a magnetic base.

The Fenix is more practical as utility light and sustain high lumen longer.

I use my solar gear for keeping up AGM batteries for portable ham radio gear. Hams have been using Anderson Powerpoles for quite some time now. They come with red and black housings, but if you make up your own Powerpoles, as I do, you can also buy them in white, gray, yellow, orange, green, blue, and purple. Powerpoles are "genderless", that is, they only plug in one way and you can't accidentally connect them in reverse polarity. With SAE, you can end up with a reverse polarity connection in some places, which is why some users of SAE have to use one of those little SAE reverse gizmos. It looks like you are doing this for one of your connections. Also, I use red/black for everything downstream of the solar charge controller... to the battery, to the radio gear, etc. But to help not damage anything, I use green/black for everything from the solar panel to the input of the charge controller. This gives a good visual cue to wake you up to the fact you might be about to damage something. I would like to see this standardized... it is standard, at least, for all of my solar gear.

The east oak is a great cooler on our boat. It stays cold even in the hot sun on the lake, provides extra seating, provides a table for snacks while floating and the double opening makes it easy to get into from any seat. We got ours on a prime day deal, and I'm glad I took the chance on it over a yeti. A few friends bought one after using ours on the lake.

The Fenix 50 is the light that got me into Olights. The charging port was cumbersome and too small for a lot of my USB-C cords. Now I own dozens of Olights and have given family and friends dozens more. No regrets.

I'm 6 months late, but you don't have to only use Olight's battery. You can use the regular disposable types as a backup. Not that you'll need them.

I will wait to check out to hear if there are other panels this quality. I have a Bluetti AC 200 LiPo4 unit. I assume the cables and connectors with these solar panels work with my Bluetti.

Instead of cutting ur new power cable I would recommend getting and Anderson or xt-60 pigtail to install onto a circuit block.

I absolutely love my Feuerhand (mine is in plain galvanized finish) and nothing beats these lanterns! Well worth the money!! Two suggestions: To remove the globe, lift the bail handle straight up. Note the pointy part at the top of the handle- place that into the fleshy part of your open palm. Now take your middle finger and grab the small metal loop on top of the chimney. You can now easily lift the chimney, to tilt the globe. Replacing the globe is tge reverse process and you maintain control of it vs having the chimney possibly slam down on the glass. Another pointer:: your red lantern's globe appears a bit sooty. After you remove and clean it with dish detergent, replace it and in the future, as for all lanterns, look at the chimney for black smoke which means the flame is too high and unburned kerosene or lamp oil is sticking to the globe. Keep an eye on the flame, especially when it first starts to warm up- as it warms, the flame size might grow enough to start sooting up the globe. I start mine low for 5 minutes before settling in on a stable flame size. Another manufacturer to consider besides the Feuerhand, is the WT Kirkman line- higher quality than most Walmart grade lanterns. But nothing beats the Feuerhand! And if you have money to blow, try finding a vintage Feuerhand Atom. Right now they only make the 276, which is small, yet nearly perfect. Enjoy the peaceful experience of your lantern!! --Ed--

They probably done away with the wireless charging pad because it eats electricity even when it's not in use if you've got DC on

My problem with the wireless charging is that anytime your dc's on it's running and using power, they need to put an on off button specifically for the wireless charging pads you can turn it off when you're not using it.

Nice! They are great fridges! I have been running my bodega for the last 3-4yrs and it still works great! I have it hooked to the eco flow and its the 48qt version. Mine doesn’t have the bottle opener though 😢…. Id never pay 1k for a fridge, lol

Actually the DC attachment is used for when your battery is completely dead, you can finish pumping up your tires through your cars cigarette lighter. I purchased one off this video and this thing is a beast so yes I've used it with the battery and once my battery died I plugged it into my car and it worked like a charm. Great video by the way.

Agree with you on the Ecoflow 400 watt panel. Terrible design.

A word to Olight. The $10 keychain flashlights are much appreciated. However, for the same price point, I would much prefer an additional proprietary charging cable. I think this would be a nice touch to come included with a premium kit like the baton4 and the charging case.
