Those sure are some pretty fish Lance. Those Marabou jigs are killer. Always precarious fishing around brush but that’s where the big fish are. Some days they are easy and some days you gotta work hard for me. Fun session on the creek either way. 👍✌️😎

Thanks for checking it out Don!! I don't fish with those little marabou's a lot, but when I do they usually produce in the creeks around here. I really love them because they are so cheap. You can get a lot of them for just a couple of bucks and I loose a fair amount of them in all those limb piles..lol..But that's where the big ones are hanging out at. If I'm not getting hung up, I'm not trying hard enough..lolol

those fish are beautiful...I have always heard them called sun fish and have never seen one that red before...Where do you get those jigs at that you are catching them on?

I think their real name is a sunfish, we just call them redbreast around here because of that beautiful red color on them and that color can change according to the water clarity too. these just happen to be in the right shade..lol..I get these jigs at Walmart and they are called Beetle Bou Marabou jigs, they are a great and cheap way to have fun.
