Wonder what fun Lucille Ball and Carol Brunett would do if they painted together. Bet it would be funny. I have been watching these Pioneer women in show biz. Talented strong and can't help but fall in love with them.
What a special bird this is. I love the colors. I live in Aiken,South Carolina, USA. I'm currently painting all the South Carolina birds. I love all the different colors we see in our birds, world-wide . It makes it so enjoyable to paint them. Thank you for sharing this sweet bird.
@@LouiseDeMasi I just purchased a new camera and will be using it to snap some reference photos. There is so much to paint here and I just can't find the time to sit and sketch. In my defence the hook mounted into the beam was old, yeah that's it. :)

Once your painting is finished, do you apply any medium to prevent it from fading? If so, which one do you use, and if not, why not? Your colors are so exquisite, i would hate to have them fade away! A winning Wednesday! I must say I sat in one of those chairs. Then was sitting on the veranda floor. :) I always learn something new when I watch.
Thanks Don. I love my chair. I sit in it and watch the birds. Sometimes I've got my camera with me with the big lens and I snap away happily.
