Purolator One looks really good, but I will wait for the Boss and decide if I should switch up the filter in my wife's vehicle, I use WIX in it now. Good video.
Looks like a really good filter, but I'll stick with the Boss for my 2022 Honda CR-V. That said, this also fits on my nephew's Troy Bilt riding lawnmower, and may be just right for this mowing season to save a few $ as the Boss might be overkill on a lawnmower.
on my last oil change, I used a Bosch distance plus which is a rebranded Purolator One, and I wasn't happy with the quality, I cut it open and found a bunch of uneven pleats with excessive glue, I paid $7.00 US for those at Rock Auto.
Thanks Bud, I always liked Bosch filters but have also found inconsistent build quality from them. But I do like the price considering the price of much higher end filters. You gotta trust the filter you have chosen.
I used one on my mower. It's a nice filter. I like it better than the Fram Ultra I replaced it with. 'Double Helix Hi-Flow center tube' Geez, whatever. Sounds like marketing BS. Just keep to holes opened and that'll work well enough for me.
Great looking filter Bill... I'm wondering if the filter media is different than the tech line or the L line... Only thing I see different is the silicone anti drain back valve!! I know the Boss is a totally different media!!
Thanks, I think the Tech line has cellulose fiber and regular Purolator has multi fiber cellulose construction. The Boss is probably called that since there's no other filter with that Quality, or is there.🤔
@@crazybillsgarage honestly with all these filters falling under the Mann and Hummel umbrella I'm sure they will use the same build as the Boss... It is apparent that the XP has the same type filter media as the boss in this video... Honestly this is the first I'm seeing of wix with this new build!!

Stick with WIX Stan, they are cheaper and just as good.

I love purolators line,but why the small diameter holes?Will they flow as well as kn or wix?
I'm sure the Purolator line has good flow compared to others. Wiz now has louvers which I don't like and K&N flow very well.
So the One is The One to use, or I'll just use the wix since it's about the same.😅

That would be a by pass valve at the bottom not a anti drain back .
