    For those commenting on the bad animation, while the criticism is certainly valid and true, just acknowledge that animation is far more expensive than making the models themselves.

    • @AspieDino98

      congrats, that is the one of the worst arguments i have ever read. you're basically saying "the quality of the animation is bad, but they spent a bunch of money on it."

      @@saurianfan7102 It's "Wyrex", and frankly the idea that its tail was actually bitten off (as opposed to being some sort of taphonomic artifact, given we have no actual signs indicating it being an injury or signs of healing) is a speculative one that, while certainly a compelling possibility for a TV audience, isn't actually supported by the fossil evidence itself. The claims made in the show aren't actually substantiated by any sources.

  • @Crakinator

    Despite the animation, which really isn’t that bad in my eyes, the models are pretty freaking accurate, and cool-looking. The rex behavior shown is also REALLY accurate compared to most other documentaries. Seeing a rex stalking a Triceratops and sprinting up behind it as stealthily as possible instead of roaring at its face and charging it is real nice.

    I absolutely love this T. Rex design, movement and behaviour all very acurate imo, I like the sparse fuzz and lack of lips, the way these animals fed and participated in regular face biting does not support full floppy lips which would be torn off, also they scraped the meat off bones with their front teeth pulling back at the same time(see Dr hone) which would be hindered by full lips, imo this is still the most accurate rex depiction yet.

    Please don't slit my throat for this, but I find the idea of T-Rex hunting in packs and forming social bonds makes evolutionary sense. A full grown Rex can way anywhere from 7 to 9 tons, which would have made chasing down prey all the more difficult. My theory is that the juveniles, teenagers, would chase the victim into the jaws of the waiting adults.

    Finally we can figure this shit out. Also damn I just noticed that this rex has very small sparse feathering. Bloody great!

    This design of tyranosaurus rex is accurate and great
    The only bad thing in this design is that the arms are very short

    • @riamus7258
      @riamus7258  4 роки тому +1

      The arms are fine. The real inaccuracies are the lack of facial ornamentation and depending on your position of the debate, lips.

      Ok already confirm that the t.rex not had lips and the most likely is that he had primitive feathers

      It is a bad documentary in my opinion because of the fact that they represent incorectly the behavior of this animals, the Tyrannosaurus rex surviving the Triceratops inguries, the same Triceratops killing the Tyrannosaurus rex when their other one is just dead, these are the examples i could give seeing just those fragments of documentary, also its not as well animated that some other documentaries

    very sensationalized and not realistic, given how current animals behave. its very unlikely trex would have attacked adult triceratops. they would be far too dangerous and such recklesness would be quickly weeded out by natural selection. it would have chosen its victim carefully, hunting juveniles, sickly creatures or running down fleet footed non armoured dinosaurs like hadrosaurs. and predatory animals rarely use their killing weapons in fights with members of their own species. disputes over territory or mates are usually resolved in various kinds of ritualized posturing, shows of strength etc, and one usually either backs down or submits before real injury. animals tend to evolve non lethal fighting behaviours. i would not be suprised if trex fought each other by whacking each other with their tails or butting heads and shoving. maybe the locked open jaws like hippos and stags do. i cant see them biting each others tails off. thats just a childish idea. i expect they got plenty of minor injuries from barging and squabbling at kills.
