Bobby Rahal - IMS Speaker Series - October 9, 2019

1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Rahal will headline the speaker series on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 5:30-8 p.m., with IMS Historian Donald Davidson serving as moderator. The program will include time for audience photos and autographs with Rahal, who was inducted in the IMS Hall of Fame in 2014.
A three-time CART IndyCar series champion (1986-87, 1992), Rahal also won the Indy 500 as a team owner in 2004 with driver Buddy Rice. The 2004 win delivered an emotional victory for Rahal’s longtime team co-owner: Indianapolis native and comedy legend David Letterman. Today, with Mike Lanigan as a third-team owner, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing fields NTT IndyCar Series entries for Rahal’s son, Graham, and Takuma Sato.
