With this setup, you can choose to burn a prayer pot at zebak/kephri if u cba flicking. There is a 25% chance to get lvl 4 Zebak, which really isnt bad as long as you dont sweat too hard to save prayer.
Blade is better in baba waves, and I use it to insta setup the baba red x. I also need blade/inq mace/rapier to get a 3 down warden. Inq mace and rapier do the same thing. Technically, rapier would be bis since baba has lower stab defence but its literally 2 hits per raid who cares.

EDIT: important note: prepot a normal range pot and not a divine to 1 shot boulders, since u need 103 range at least with my setup

Doesn't make any sense to me... Playing a main and farming gp in a raid (already redundant), but won't charge a player to leech from your talent? It's a paid service like anything else, same as every other mmo platform, not even remotely close to being controversial.
Unless we're talking about rwt (main accounts are stigmatized rwt anyway) then why draw a moral line in the sand accepting gp for something in game? It's the same as paying for an item, getting help with a quest, being coached by a pro, or any other money-for-service transaction. Just feels very out of touch to take a moral high ground over boosting while playing a main account unironically.

@Corzappy Not saying they're equal, but again, there's that stigma. "Selling boosting services." A trendy way to say paying for help or a carry. The negative connotation comes from mains who are huffing copium that their accounts don't impress anyone, or from people jealous of rwt advantage. Instead of saying what it actually is. Boosting isn't against ToS because there isn't a difference, actually. Not contextually. A for B. The only "A" not allowed is real-world currency or feet pics. So overall I'm saying, the anti boost stance is either cope or jealousy, because it factually isn't anything else than a trade.
Delusion looks like gobbling up the majority's opinion that boosting is "bad" without ever applying any critical thought to it first. Not saying you of course, just in general. From a psychoanalytical standpoint, this occurrence over boosting is simply deranged mass media consumers bleeding their ideologies into a video game because it has its own microsociety, and every society has to have social rules. I'm all for moral choices, but interactions that don't break rules/cause harm/break the game etc. objectively render critical/judgmental ideas against them defeated before they ever leave someone's mouth.

Great video! I'm still waiting for a shadow drop to finish the log on my iron, then I want to push for a raid level pb and was thinking 540 is the most likely option. If you cant run the 40 minute timer what invo would you put on to replace it? or would you just take timer off.
just take timer off, unless u wanna put the lvl 3 path invo on but that makes the raid a lot longer too
i ran 100+ 530s with an iron that didn't have shadow/tbow, they're super comfy. just take the timer off and they're farmable. in trios we could hit the time limit on 540s deathless, but 530s not caring about deaths were a lot more chill

Sick vid! Question, what’s the plug-in called when u hover over your prayer orb (quick prayers) and it shows which prayers are selected? When you’re flicking it at baba for example, when your mouse is hovering in your prayer orb at top right, it shows piety and protect from range are selected

Tombs of Amascut - for kephri puzzle, akkha pickaxe reminder, points tracker
Better NPC Highlight - For akkha and zebak wave true tiles, baba boulders, and some other NPC tagging
Multicolor highlights - tagging monkeys in baba waves
monster hp percentage - baba and akkha hp overlay

Only started doing TOA about a week or so ago and just started doing 300s as of a few days ago... this is easily the most impressive TOA video I've watched so far, great run, everything calculated immaculately, I want to get to this level. Is there any places you studied that helped you achieve this? I've still got a lot of upgrades and work on mechanics before I think I'm gonna get anywhere near 500 but eager to keep progressing xD Dropped a YT sub to see the next one!
hey mate, thanks for watching! A lot of it comes down to practice, since I've done hundreds of 500+ invos solos.
Definitely check out molgoatkirby on UA-cam and twitch for a lot of toa mechanics, and I recommend watching streamers that do toa on a pretty high level like aatykon, boaty, etc since they are grinding 2k cape rn.
But above all, just practice. Get a bunch of kc and the raid will naturally start feeling easier over time, and just slowly bump up the invocations from there. You got this beast
Out of curiosity, is this a lot easier than a 1+1 at a lower level (in order to get similar overall gp/hour)?
just off the top of my head I would think this would be much better than maybe all 1+1 lvl until 500~ invo, but then it's a lot more effort as well.
For perspective, it's about 18% chance for a purple in 1+1 415, and that would take like 45min maybe. 1+1 500s is 30% and takes about 1hr~
but definitely not worth the extra effort imo

Cheers beast! I used the multicolor highlight plugin to highlight the monkeys in different colors for better visibility. You can also use the Better NPC Highlight if you want to mark the true tile of certain npcs

I get below 35 min but i bring an anguish +gs smack fot core (4down sucks no extra points after 3) + inq mace for some pray bonus and stab option for tick fixing baba/kephir (gotta put it on crush at warden for the core) decent video for a showcase for all them people new 500+ :)
nah I usually average about 35min. I use an inq mace sometimes but I alr have tons of prayer so I just use whatever.
As you can see in the vid, don't need gs to get the 3 down if u have max melee. Anguish does almost nothing, so having an extra restore means I can afk zebak every now and then.

Your bone dagger misses at kephri. Why do you use it there? (I know Bone dagger at kephri is weird)
ye bone dagger's 100% first hit hasn't worked on kephri since the start of toaI believe. But when it hits, it does save a lot of time. for the bone dagger to always hit u need to stand around doing nothing until kephri fires the first ball which may be worth it but I cba

How do you feel about the drop mechanics when you can do things like this?
uh it's a little busted for sure, but I am kinda dry. Currently it about 120 540s I have about a 14% purple rate which is a couple purples off from 18%.
Unfortunately it's too late to nerf drop rates now, and nerfing the upper end would mean having to nerf the entire range of invocation levels. My plan is to abuse it as much as I can while it's still 20m/hr and finish 2k cape because at the rate it's going it won't last very long
How did you trap the ranger in kephri and not have to pray range ????
u need to be in the south east corner, and within 3 tiles to the east wall. Give the ranger a couple ticks to get stuck. Afterwards, stay in the west region, and be sure not to rag yourself with dung since u have to stay west in order to be out of range of the ranger

@@LemansZ06 need rapier/inq mace/blade of saeldor to get warden 3 down. Also vw has lower strength bonus compared to those 3, and since I wont be using its spec much, no point bringing it

nah, keeping spec for keris is way safer. Sometimes u can splash or noodle and end up having to keris more often
Why are you using shadow on zebak if you have tbow? Is it because no bgs?
8 way shadow + accursed sceptre spec is more dps in this setup.
For tbow to be better, I need a 7 way switch (meaning full range without ring) + 20 bgs spec, which I can't fit into this setup
@@nochoc Love it. Been recently running 510s because of this. Dont have ultor/torva to get the 3 down. I use bandos/torture/bring(i) and hit 56's on core. No double trouble/keep back. Have been absolutely loving pushing these higher invos. Only a few minutes more than 400's but almost double the drop chance. 10 500's in no purp yet tho! Soon! Love the vid man. Was a huge help.
For those of you curious to know how to calculate 3 down damage.
1. Use dps calc google spreadsheet, and search for warden core and enter appropriate raid level. Hp should change accordingly.
2. Without any missed hits, you will be able to hit the core 24 times.
3. 24 * damage per hit * 5

I could, but occasionally might fail and waste a ton of time. I'd rather just keris early and never risk missing the tick eat. It's not like I won't have enough keris specs to finish wardens so why risk it right

In case you were wondering how it's done, you start Rapid Heal just before you start P1, then you let the red orbs tank you to 75hp and no lower. By the time both orbs hit you (45 and 30), you get the 1hp extra, ready to yellow keris :)

@@tzarc.8386 ye I've never failed time, but you could always just not skull skip if you feel like time is tight, though u lose a little bit of purple chance. For reference, most p3+p4 wardens takes me under 5min30s with skull skip, but you'll prob save like 1min if u skull skip all phases

Something that I see nobody do is to red x a tick earlier. You are still in cycle for a proper red x, but you don't have to move for the boulder, since it will not hit you
yea that's a good point, but it's so small it doesn't really matter for me since I'm used to red x-ing on the later tick
If you do it 1 tick earlier you only need to move on lvl 0-1 baba, very comfy. got used to it since i play with bad ping and if i lag a little i can still save it, pretty good

1. definitely bring bgs, even if it doesn't hit often. Only kephri has very high slash defence, but all the other bosses you should hit more often than not, and hitting the 20 is big time save.
2. go as high as you can, typically most people cap duos at 500
3. retired for a while due to school, might be back in a bit who knows

I started to farm some 540s but my rate is rarely over 18%, it's always between 17.7%-17.9%, idk what I'm doing wrong 👎
try to get a bigger sample size. It can be due to rng and which rooms level up.

@@velzun8075 imo its more like OD takes away from the raid - less switching/spec management. Pre-dt2 almost nobody considered using anything other than lightbearer, but tbh even b-ring + seers wouldve been fine to do 540s.
Now that ultor and magus are a thing, people kinda "accept" that since there isnt much time loss, its okay. Though to some people it isnt as "fun" since you basically barely spec at all.

@@LemansZ06 normally in 500s you wont have overly draining turned on, which means you gotta manage spec more with zcb/vw.
540s with overly draining means less clicking and attention needed to maximise spec

Points are based on damage in the raid, the raid takes alot of time to do so, monster regain stats/hp after awhile meaning if your dps is worse/slower npcs will regain more health and that leads to extra points, milking aint worth it tho as you rather should just finish more raids per hour
Keep Back is a difficult Invocation and all the guides out there for it are not that good
go into a 0 invo raid and just practice for a bit to get the timing. Some people say u can use the hitsplat from akkhas range or mage attack as a reference point too,where u click back a second after the hitsplat appears

Hi, i dont do the partial red x because it is an extremely small time save and makes it hard for me to click my other clients, or watch videos on the side.
And you are absolutely correct, my bad. I went back and checked some of my past runs and its more like 36 min on average. This number i threw out was just off the top of my head. Sometimes i afk a bit here and there in the raid as well, since I do grind out a lot of these and going max eff all the time is very exhausting.
This run however, is definitely on the slower end of the spectrum, and for sure slower than average.
I have uploaded pics of the past 20 runs or so in an imgr album for u to take a look. There are definitely a good amount of runs that are around 35min

I don’t know how some people play this way with these plugins making the game seem like a test simulator. Don’t you want the game to look/feel nice in sacrifice of a slight hindrance?
And i get something like going for a grandmaster combat task in cg where you want the mobs disappear quicker etc, but shit if you’re going to run hundreds of near mac invo toas I personally couldn’t play that way, purely performance/efficiency. Idk, i dont do tile markers, true tile, outlined npc hitboxes all that jazz. Eventually you’ll learn intuitively on what those are without having it look like half developed or project game.
i get where you're coming from, and yea totally you do you mate, but my goal is 2k cape, and some plugins just make the raid a lot more consistent which will save quite a number of hours in the long run.
Like the zebak wave true tile, i only started using that when i decided to grind out a long streak of 540s, because there are just scenarios where you gotta wave skip, and failing that skip usually means 20-25min down the drain.
But you know, just play however you wanna play
@@nochoc Yeah I gotcha. True tile honestly i feel like i learned from tons of cgs and chambers; but yeah eventually you might move early or late one a tile but to me it’s never been something that I thought of using. Obvi toa at 500+ is much much less forgiving on an error so fair is fair….

I'm a fan that toa is solo able content. Teams do have a higher purple rate overall all else equal but the simplicity of solos is nice sometimes.

@@Mitch1563 unfortunately if we kept rates similar for lower invocations, but nerf high invos, then there wouldnt be much incentive to do higher invos. If you wanna make 540s a 1/20 chance, then 300s would have to be 1/60 or something else no ones ever gonna push the invo level
I understand where you are coming from, but consider that right now you have a 1/5.5 on a 540, a 300 raid is a 1/25. If the 3x rate is fair then that would bring the 540 to a 1/8.333.
That would be a major improvement already, and it isn't like it wouldn't be worthwhile - wr paced 300 runs nets a purple every 7.5 hours. By your 540 times it is currently it is under 3.5 hours for a purple. That change would bring it up to just about 5 hours.
