That 80´s keyboards is amazing.
👍👍
Best TV house band ever...
@@skonaz Would love to have a beer with those blokes.
(And I'm not even a massive beer drinker.)
I keep coming back to this video .
Yeah me too, it's an awesome cover
Same
Me three
Me too. The original is good but they do this to a tea.
It's a gold trap
Wow the male vocalist is absolutely awesome!
Absolute gold - Paul Dempsey, what a gun vocalist.
Paul sounds great but Emily has got to go!
Sharp like a razor
Couldn’t agree with you more.
One of the most underrated voices this wide, brown land has ever produced. Change my mind! Rock on, friends!
Holy shit that guy NAILED those vocals!
You need to search his band Something for Kate or just Paul Dempsey for his solo stuff
I'd leave my wife for this legend, sorry baby 🤣🤣
Check out his versions of wrecking ball, stop, and many more. Just him and an acoustic...phenomenal
the guy really has a great classic rock voice
sick..... such a good combination of voices
Awsome
Best cover I’ve heard so far. Really love his voice
Everything Paul touches turns to gold i swear
Bullshit, he is unheard of internationally
I agree 👍👍
Paul Dempsy has an outstanding voiceWhy have we not seen more of this guy
Probably because you don't live in Australia. He's band is " Somthing for Kate" - look em up
The singing is just perfect.
Beautiful vocal from Paul, his timbre is perfect for the song, love it
So much guilty pleasure right here. Paul absolutely dominates this song.
Bullshit, they're BOTH great!
@@nigelwitting2667 some of H&A's stuff is a little too sweet for my liking, but they also have some absolute bangers. I've never doubted Darryl's vocal ability though.
@@adam872 These 2 are way better...
There's no guilt associated with enjoying hall and oates
What a great version of a H&O classic ! Many years of combined Australian rock talent on that stage : The Black Sorrows, Mondo Rock , The Models, Something For Kate .It really shows in the performance.
Two very talented beautiful people.😊
Over the years this show has paired up the best musicians to perform the best duets I’ve ever seen. This duet is up there with my favourites.
Wow.
not what i was looking for but NOT disappointed damn, these guys are so good
Why can't I not get enough of this version of this song? From "Tex" on the keys and the hot licks to the mesmerizing duo. This song and these artists are amazing. Please come to Nashville and play for us! Best cover of H&O I've ever heard.
The cowboy earned his check
Sure did! All I need, is one band member, like that. 😃
Mid 2021, this is a masterpiece currently
This one is so going straight to the pool room.
😂😂👍
This band is so incredible .. every song they cover is just great ..
They make look easy. How talented they are? Brilliant
What a fantastic version of this song the two of them nailed it. In my humble opinion it’s better then the original. Great vocals ….out of touch…amazing
Shake it up is all that we know
Using the bodies up as we go
I'm waking up to fantasy
The shades all around aren't the colors we used to see
Broken ice still melts in the sun
And times that are broken can often be one again
We're soul alone
And soul really matters to me
Take a look around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time (time)
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Reaching out for something to hold
Looking for a love where the climate is cold
Manic moves and drowsy dreams
Or living in the middle between the two extremes
Smoking guns hot to the touch
Would cool down if we didn't use them so much, yeah
We're soul alone
And soul really matters to me
Too much
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
You're out of touch
Time
But I'm out of my head when you're not around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
Not around
You're out of touch
I'm out of time
These two are like Silk & Velvet. Incredible rendition! Perfection.
This is chemistry , front man is amazing
Simply amazing, listening on loop
That is just F’ing awesome.
Dad gum, guys ... this is a super solid cover of the Daryl Hall and John Oates original recording ... I love your interpretation and quite honestly, I will probably be listening to it about as often as I listen to their version from now on ... when done! Cheers!
Many years later and I'm still loving this!
wow the guy's voice is amazing
First of all, this is a great 80’s song, you gotta give credit to H&O for nailing such a melody. This version really steps it into the 2000s, they both did a great job on vocals, and I will forever be gobsmacked by the talent of the rockquiz house band. Salute to St Kilda and the espy! It’s all good folks 🤘
I have no idea who he is but yo that guy can fucking sing!
Eric Cartman Dude, you need to search his name and his band and get listening........
(Paul Dempsey / Something for Kate (SFK))
Sweet! I'll check 'em out now. Cheers bro!
Vocalist from an Australian band called Something For Kate
Paul killed it again. His cover of “Stop” by Sam Brown is also a gem.
Woah. I must hear that. Sam Brown is one of my favourite all time singers, so I need to hear how do does that tune.
@@adam872 did you see it?!?!?!? 😍🤩
I’m a little late to the party, but if ya ain’t seen it his cover of Middle Kids Edge of Town is incredible as well

Wow. Gold! I remember this rendition. ☺
He got a goddamn voice :O
But she sings with no soul.

Wow. Today I discovered Paul Dempsey for myself.
Semyon Galtsev welcome to the club! Dempsey has some of the most die hard fans going, to the point where you start noticing the same people at his gigs if you go often enough.
A very good cover.
