my parents have an interior drain system but it is not for water coming through any walls. they have a high water table which rises from beneath the floor. is this the correct use for an interior drain tile system?

it's common sense for Pete sake, God sake, Marky's sake, Bugs Bunny's sake, The GREEN Hornet's sake.... 🤣 some homeowners/basements ONLY leak aka, only get water in through ABOVE grade openings, windows being one... SO, before doing any work and before extracting any money WHY wouldn't any honest and exp'd contractor FIRST do a water test with a hose to, umm, be sure where the water is 1st getting in so that the money a homeowner forks over goes towards fixing the ACTUAL problem(s) ! So to see if some or all the water/rain is getting in through-around the windows do a water test w/hose, if THAT is part or all of problem you'll find out pretty quick when running water against those windows. BUT lol, before doing the water test against windows i would highly recommend doing a water test with hose from... ground level DOWN against the exterior of block basement walls to determine if some or all water is getting in through 1 or more exterior cracks in blocks walls, if water begins to enter onto B floor while doing water test against the B WALLS then that area of the B walls needs exterior waterproofing! Then you soak the windows. One of several POINTS is, "IF" all the water is 1st getting in above ground through--around those WINDOWS then spending %%% on that piping and replacing gutters and raising and sloping the grade will NOT do anything, will NOT FIX the openings--problems in--around the WINOWS!!! hahahaa sheesh And what they did here will also NOT waterproof, repair any possible exterior cracks in the block walls, NO so sorry. How much money $ did this cost, gutters and goofy piping and raising n sloping the grade? And is there a written guarantee that says this work will keep basement dry in this area for extended period of time?
