Greetings from Florida. Some solid driving and hella fast lap time. I see where i can gain another second from your gearing. Would put me in low 2:16's or high 15's. Brake early and come out of turn in control and accelerating. Good stuff, keep them coming. New Sub.
@@Maverick_prbt usually I watch one of the top 10 times on the leaderboard and I try to copy the gears. But once you're used to a car/track combination it actually is just a matter of minutes to adapt to the new daily races. But it doesn't work for every car, just like short shifting too. The Supra is a car you have to short shift as long as I can think. But other cars you have to fully rev out and probably use a lower gear. What I can tell is that when you force your car into a lower gear going into a turn it can give you more rotation. But yeah, really depends on the car 😃
@@FerencHidasi thanks mate! I'm still 1.2 seconds off WR too haha. At Spa it is all about accelerating early, especially turn 1. this alone can make a difference of a few tenths. And fully maximizing track limits is crucial too. I know: easier said than done... 😃
@@Matty_Ice87 did you try using a higher gear though certain turns? That can give you more traction. Just try to copy my gear usage. Getting a good exit out of turn 1 is crucial too because you need the speed on the long part which goes fully flat. And try to use the entire track width. This can be tricky, because of penalties or car instability if you go too wide, but you gain lots of time.
@ I’ve been watching some of the pros like yourself and have been trying to implement switching to a lower gear to get rotation and then about halfway through the turn switch to a higher gear. It’s helped me but I still can’t seem to get over the hump from a slow driver to a decent one. I appreciate your help and taking the time to share advice and tips with me. 🙏🏻
I reckon I gained 1.5 seconds once I managed to go full gas through the right hander on to the loooong section before the final chicane. That momentum helped me dip under two-twenty. Looking forward to adjusting a couple more things after watching this. 4th through the right hander after the first chicane seemed to propel too. Cheers.

Nice man! And thanks for the sub! 🙂
Tremendous! Thx for putting this up.
You're welcome 🙂
How do you decide when to use a higher gear for a corner? And does this technique work with each car?
Thanks for sharing the vid! ✌️

I can’t get lower than 2:20 to save my life…😢
