I always find this kind of comment puzzling. The cello is basically the backbone of the piece, everything else is supported by the part the cello plays. That’s not in the least an insignificant part.
Born in September 1653, Johann #Pachelbel was a German composer of the middle Baroque era. During his lifetime, Pachelbel was best known as an organ composer, he wrote more that two hundred pieces for the instrument, and explored most of the genres that existed at the time. Today, Pachelbel is best known for the Canon in D major, a piece of music scored for three violins and basso continue. ua-cam.com/video/gDEnmYWzXQA/v-deo.html
In the underground passage next to my workplace there is often a girl with a violin. She often plays this music. It is wonderful to hear baroque notes in the hustle and bustle of the city ❤️
So easy to tell that this piece is actually the soundtrack playing in the background ff when we go to heaven but yeah, let's pretend that we don't know it yet ... P.S. - I can perfectly picture the baby angels flying about with recorders, piccolos and harps already but yeah ... Can't wait to discover it all.
Hi Enorhel It’s not that bad. I mean it’s been 6 years since I’ve heard that song. ( when I was 8 ) Still can’t play it without errors. Been playing the violin when I was 7.
The cello is like the janitor, you don't usually notice him. But when he's gone, the place is a mess
Lmfaoooo
HOLY FUCK😂
Wow
Percussion moment
Every time the cello part is played, somewhere a cellist cries.
sintofg as a former cellist a little piece of my soul died

A moment of silence for our cellos
and the harp, they're just gone
for context, this song is often accompanied by harp and/or lute
As a trombone player I feel their pain
@@c0mput3r80ythank you. I will search about this.

#Pachelbel This piece is AMAZING!!! I have made so many variations of this, but none of them beat this.
I didn’t think he was german.

Klemátisz Szimonetta Rose no offence but that part really ain’t the best
The Cellist... Pachelbel’s bass player. 😢
Esta composição é um sonho lindo ✨😍💕✨
Canon in D is a major solemnity rite appreciated by HUMANITY!
As a former cellist... No.

I like it when the cello goes ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner NER.
i play this in orchestra and i’m a cellist so thanks
I like the fact that cellos only plays 8 notes but without them the piece will be a mess
Indeed. Although cellists galore hate playing this piece
pro tip for amateurs: Go to settings and set the speed to 75%.
How to determine if someone is a cellist or not: play pachelbels canon and see how they react.
This piece is so addicting. The violin part is stuck in the back of my head 😂
Addictive
This is so good. It was really familiar I just cant remember where and when did I heard this.
Rodessa Orcerada search "canon rock" in youtube and check the first video, that might be it
I remember hearing this the first time from one of my violin mates 6 years ago. But I don’t know what specific date I heard it.
Poor cello player only gets to play 8 notes the entire piece....
IKR BUT IF PACHELEBEL WANTED IT TO BE LIKE THAT THEN THAT'S HOW HE WANTED IT TO BE
Lord Vivec ar least they play an important role though XD
I play cello T_T
BORING cello.
Cello player may seem unnoticeable but without the cello player this whole piece will be a mess, so they are playing a low key big role
Nice song👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
😄Meanwhile, I try to play freely, on no-clean...You try it too. 😄The first violin.😀
I really need a slooooower version of this for us beginners😭
You can just do it slower and practice over and over that how I practice fast pieces
Use UA-cam x0.5 speed function :p
*cries in Cello*
Jow long you've been playing?
How*
lmao this guy kicked out the viola
Redheadedmusician you have to be a real instrument.
Redheadedmusician every time this video is played, a viola burns to hell.
Why?
TwoSet jokes aside, Canon was written for 3 violins and a cello
JAJAJJAJHASHDJASHJAH
One of the view versions where can hear and see the canon. Often they cut the canon going straight to the melody making it not canon in D.
Hi I am pretty sure there is a mistake in 3:33 there should by Csharp (and in the other voices too), also in 3:58 i think(orher voices too)
just what i needed, thanks for share!
oh les gars c le cello qui fait l’ostinato je crois
