Let me add some info on persimmon. Freezing temperature doesn't have any effect on persimmon, because persimmon is a fruit which like cold weather. We here in Northern Pakistan grow best quality of persimmon because of cold weather the temperature here remains below - 5 to-10 in November and -5 to-15 in December and sometimes its drops to -20.
That’s great to know! But won’t the leaves freeze and dry at that temperatures? That’s what happened to mine and the fruit were exposed to the cold and got some damage.

We should watch for the temperature together persimmon on time. I would do some dried Persimmons

Don't worry about leaves, almost all leaves( persimmon specially)generally falls down till December, 🍂
