This game is insanely underrated
Hacm It is, I feel sorry for people that haven't played it, the game is pure golden FUN, I don't know how you can get bored with it, hats of to the devs
yes really underrated. hats off to avalanche studios. its driving physics is so smooth and engaging. In my opinion gta should look in this game for that.
this will be a hidden gem for this console generation
Detritus Epsilon Totally agree, I don't even know what went wrong with the sales, but I think it was the release date, the marketing was strong, and the game that should look to learn from it is Fallout, seriously I didn't get that classic Fallout 1&2 feel anywhere until I played this game, the world is jaw dropping and grand in scope, everything is excellent really, just adrenaline male pumping pure gold action and fun, totally got offguard
Russian Bear I realized why it flopped when I saw when It came out, it was released when mgs 5 and fallout 4 cameout and those games came out 1 day apart so mad Max was right between them and as you could imagine a new IP stood no chance against these 2
Maybe the release date or maybe the brand mad max isnt too friendly to the gamers.Lol what games did this came out simultaneously with??
I played arkham city and some say its similar because of warner bros publishing both. I agree to some extent but I think imo this is more fun. Dont get me wrong I had lots of fun on arkham citys open world plus im a batman fan but this is so much fun to a whole new level. Ps Ive only watched fury road out of all mad max films yet this game still awesome!! Im currently playing this right now.
Ive only gotten this game. U wont believe it I got thiss off a trade. Cant believe the guy traded this for my infamous first light ! Lolol. i guess its a magnificent steal for me. ;)
One of the best open world games of this generation. Whats worse is that I got this the same day as MGS5 and ended up enjoying Mad Max way more!
I played and liked both but Phantom Pain could be the best game of 2015

haven't played beyond the Pass yet , still looking to clean the map before i move on ...
only got the game 6 months , waited until i got a descent system to play it on
can do 120+ fps in 4K , but i rather have the smoothness of 1440p and all of the fps i can get
the dust from storms looks so tight in both resolutions , best of any game ever made to this day

I've been playing this game for about a week, and let me just say it exceeded all my expectations. I didn't pay full price for it but would have. Game is massive, so much going on, brutal fighting, excellent graphics. You can level up your, put on clothes, ect. Really fun game.

Extremely underrated Gem! reinstalled it 2 days ago and boy I missed the combat in Mad Max! Car Combat as well as hand to hand combat. The Sound of the engine is simply brilliant!

Real music I played it on Xbox One so its twice on the top D-Pad. It only works in the Opus. If you're on PC just go to options and find controls and switch to vehicle controls.

A very underrated game. I have 40 hours plus played and I still haven't completely finished it. If I have one gripe about this game, it is the absence of a handbrake. Other than that, it is excellent.
Sooo instead of this being 7 cool things to do its just 7 features of the game that everyone will end up doing at some point. nice one.

I really love the fact that mad max went back to gaming roots...just have fun! No game this year has really made me want to go back and play just to explore and have fun. Everything has meaning and it never gets boring...watch out rockstar, avalanche is coming in hot with open world games!

Played in PC when it released...I just got the Ps4 version yesterday. This game is so underrated its unbelievable. I so hope they announce Mad max 2
7 years later and I still put this on from time to time on the series X just to drive about and cause carnage..

If you wanna play one of the arkham games just don't get arkham knight on pc.
Everything you see here is in terms of combat stolen from the batman arkham series. Shadow of mordor stole batmans combat mechanics as well.

I pre ordered this cant wait to play it looks unbleivable ! i wish there was some sort of multiplayer tho maybe in the future imagine the co op possibilities , hope the game is long ive heard some mutterings the main story is very short >.

+cjnovo992 I've played for over twenty hours so far and only visited half the map. I'm guessing it's somewhere around the 50hr mark.
I cleared all of jeets lands in about 12 hours and made it to sandking, so i'd say about 50 to 60 hours or more considering how much larger gutgash and pinkeyes areas are.
This game looks good but I'm saving my pennies for Just Cause 3, Fallout 4, MGSV: The Phantom Pain and possibly CoD: BO3 (Not too sure about that yet)
EDIT: I've decided that I'll get BO3. It looks fun.

Youd be surprised. I got chums tools upgraded to max (level 3) before I even met Pink Eye on my 3rd play through.

I just got this game on Amazon for 12 bucks and I am loving the combat and leveling up my vehicle. Really gets the movie's feel.

+Camroon Thankfully it's not most of the time, but it goes really far back when the car is going fast. I know it's probably for you to see everything that is going on around you in combat (maybe it only does that in combat).
But oh well, I'll get used to it! The game looks sick, but it comes out the same day as MGSV... RIP... Why would they do that? The choice is easily made. If only it came out a month later

+M4TRIXed I think you can change it, because in other gameplay videos the camera is way closer to the car.
+M4TRIXed it depends on how fast you are diving. it gets further away. when vehicles come up, alongside you, you need the distance to see whats going on around you. i thought the same before i played it but once i was in - it has never been an issue.

Number 1 is definitely doing an epic jump. Not just any of those regular jumps but the ones on the map that actually say epic jump. You get a sort of cinematic angle when you jump them.
Man I can't express how happy I am that the combat seems to be a lot like freeflow from the arkham games

i missed using a boomstick in meele combat tho thats really funny if other enemys are close to him if he explodes

I can't say I'm overly proud of this, but every time I ram a car and it explodes, I can't help but go "BOOM, BABY!!!" like in Emperor's New Groove
