I am thankful for you. You have showed up. I have showed up. Down 30 pounds. Hit plateau. Surrounded myself with good people. Still here. So are you. Lost half pound after three weeks. I so needed to see that happen. trudging on. More to go. My life is here now. Not 50 pounds from now. I feel so much better with good food nourishing me. Exercise moving my body. Positive thoughts motivating me.

Here it is, almost 1/2 way 2019, and you are still helping new people every day. THANK YOU for your videos!!!!! Starting phen 37.5 today to re loose weight I've lost 5 years ago...it's so hard to see that weight come back on, but out of an 80lb loss, i'm back up 40 and my breaking point, and all my old knowledge is not helping to make an impact...thank you menopause. I need to move my breaking point when I'm done with this again. LOL I just wanted to say thank you for all this info treasure. It's so appreciate. Not time for a diet, but a life change. Hurt my knees trying to be active with our kids (bowling) and yep....hurt both knees. So I start my script today, and knee therapy tomorrow....and off an running and plan to make it a life change.

Great information, I was caught up in the intermittent fasting way of doing things thinking it would be enough but in the end it always comes back down to how many calories were eating and we need to increase our activity by doing like you said a good workout

I hate having to put in effort, and that's my problem. So I use a kettle bell and do planks, squats, swings. But not sure what else. I prefer weight exercises than cardio as I'm already calorie deficit

Workout is so important and I try to push myself further, we need to push and motivate ourselves cause exercise got easier for me the more I did it. Always pray to Jesus Christ before you start your days because you need His assistance in all things you do.

For a 357lb 6'3" male what is a good low calorie number per day? Before I started Phentermine I was not caring much and eating over 3k-4k calories per day(yes I love food). Now I cut out soda pop, lots of carbs, and sugary candy. I am using the FitnessPal app and set my calories to 2000 but not seeing much weight lose after the first 2 weeks of using Phentermine. I dropped off 13lb pretty quick and started doing brisk(3-4mph 17.5 mins per mile) walks of 1.5 miles twice a day and completely stopped losing weight. I seem stuck at 344lb should I reduce calorie intake or just wait it out and keep things on the current level? Thanks for any information you can offer and loving the videos.

Thanks Dr. For the info..??? I got the steps of taking Phentermine mixed up.
    Is this correct?....
    1) Take pill first
    2) eat breakfast ( low carb)
    3) exercise
    ?????🤔

Something daily. Every day. Make a lifestyle change. Make the exercise the primary goal of your day. Activity is crucial. You don't want to hurt yourself. But do the stationary bike. Start slowly. Break it up into 10 minute segments. Be creative. Make a plan with yourself that you can't miss.

I like to water walk for the resistance and have access to an indoor pool year round. How can I tell what the equivalent of "sweaty and disgusting" and "need to take a shower"? In other words, how can I judge if I have worked out enough? Do my legs have to be so shaky I can hardly climb out?

If you have a heart rate monitor that is waterproof then see if you can get your heart rate up to 80% of your target heart rate (you can ask your doc about how to calculate this but it is generally 220 - your age).

I wish my Doctor was like you. She is not. I took myself off Phentermine 6 separate times....Due to lack of education... Thank you! I'm with a new Doctor now who is aware of my past usage of of Phentermine. I do not trust her, because she has an idea. She wants me to try taking Effexor for 1 month and then add Phentermine to it? Now I'm about the happiest person you'll ever meet. She said one of the side affects of this medication is anorexia. Does this sound right to you? She is overweight herself. I've had the medcation just sitting there on my counter, because I'm too scared to mess with my brain. What do you think?
