I still find it super weird how they started off as “TS haters,” when they just didn’t even know her discography. It’s not just them either because lot of people treat Taylor & her craft like a plague or “cooties.” Since her debut, really & I just don’t know why.
You guys are so naive! You know they still don't give a shit about our beloved TS. For them, and all the other UA-camers using the same intro, TS is just a cash cow. They are using swifties to push their channels. That`s why they are going way and behond praising her album. They need YOUR COMMENTS, YOUR LIKES, AND YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. But truly is, they don't give a fxxx about Taylor. Like cookie cutters they all say the same thing "someone told me to do a reaction about TS. But I never heard, hardly knew her, don't like her". And during the reaction "wow she's amazing, how come I was never a swifty l. Am I a swifty now? Please let me know if you want another reaction blah blah". All lies
@@lindamolinari4951 idk if it is something new but seems like it is a new trend to react to TS and act like she is the greatest singer. There were some reactors on tiktok that did it for free then moved their ts videos on patreon so they could force the swifties to pay. It all seems so shady
She did start as a paid songwriter for Sony, I believe? Seeing how far she has come over all these years is incredible. I'm so proud of the woman she has become. I'm a bit older than her, so her first album came out after I graduated High School (I'm 37yo). From the beginning, I thought she was absolutely adorable and so easy to like! She hasn't changed much in the sense of who she is for her fans, and although she's arguably one of the most famous people in the world, she's still so down to earth and chill. I'm grateful that I have gotten to witness her grow at the same time I was growing into the woman I am.
Fun Fact "This is What You Came For" the Rhiana hit was written by Taylor Swift but she didn't want to overshadow the production, so she used one of her pseudonyms Nils Sjöberg.
YES please watch her live shows. She is a ridiculously good performer live, she prides herself on being able to strip down her songs acoustically, and directed her own videos. And she's SUPER hands on with everything she does

When the 2009 MTV award show happened most people thought it was crazy. I think it took a few years and a more mature perspective for people to realize how awful it really was. I don’t think most people knew how young she was at the time. Not only was she like only 17 or 18 he was like 32. Knowing that really gives it a harsher perspective I think.
Yes, "1989" was her switch to pop but I meant more is that "Reputation" was still a very different sound from "1989". From what I remember hearing at the time the production was quite different. Now I could be wrong completely but I'll find out when we go to listen/react to her albums.
She wasn't 17, she was 19. Dr Phil couldn't be bothered to be accurate; she was 18 when Fearless released in the fall, turns 19 just before Christmas, and started touring Fearless. The Kanye thing happened just before the 2009 Grammy Awards (Fearless was most awarded country album ever). Her debut went platinum before it was out a year; Fearless went platimum in a couple months. Kanye talks of "making her famous" but she was already all over TV and radio, and taking country music worldwide (country wasn't streamed much before 2009).
love you guys going in this order! Miss American is the prefect background to see where taylor was at up to 2020 before her rerecordings to own her own masters. love that you guys are actually into getting to know the artist and the background to truly dive into her and form opinions :)
There were several people who commented and DM us on Patreon to watch this documentary before diving into her catalogue. It was definitely worth it, having all the background on her and seeing her personality help us to understand her music more holistically. - Cam
Also that she was dating Harris at the time. I think he put down working with her in the press?: "he doesn't see a collaboration happening between them ever" when they had but kept it secret. Not giving her her flowers. "Get away car", "high infidelity" "forgot that you existed"
Taylor has a younger brother named Austin. She has 3 cats. Two Scottish folds named Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. The kitten in the beginning is a ragdoll she named Benjamin Button. She needed a kitten for th Me! Music video (the colorful one they kept showing bts shots of) and she found he was available so she took him home.
To really dig into her live stuff I always think you should start with the Reputation tour. Start with “Ready For It” + the intro. You saw a bit of it in the documentary. Then there is “Don’t Blame Me” and “I Did Something Bad”. There are other really great live performances from the 1989 Tour, the Speak Now tour and even a few from Lover, the album that came out just before the pandemic. Her current Eras Tour is great but I think she was best performing in the actual era.
If you loved the songwriting moments in this doc there are a lot of behind the scenes videos of her songwriting! There are the songwriting sessions from reputation and also she did a whole Grammys interview for 1989 where she walked through her process.
I REALLY enjoyed this reaction. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and opinions about it. I, too, thought it was very well done. Taylor really is like the girl next door. Her boyfriends father said “she is like the girl next door”. She started to clean up after other people and it made a great impression on him. He said that she did it when nobody was watching so she didn’t do it because she wanted to be seen doing it. It’s just the way she was brought up. She has a younger brother named Austin who is her best friend. He’s at so many of her concerts along with both of her parents. They keep the family close by at all times because they enjoy and love each other. They grew up on a Christmas Tree farm with lots of room to run and play. She was bullied mercilessly when she was a young teenager so writing in her journals and writing songs became therapy for her. At her first award show that she was actually performing at, she invited her old classmates who used to bully her. Front row. She came away with so many trophies that year so it must have felt amazing. Her childhood friend, Abigail, is still a best friend. She wrote “15” about her and it’s just heartbreaking that Abigail didn’t have a great family life like Taylor did. She donates money to the food banks in every city she goes to. She is an AMAZING person; which is why we love her so much. Her heart and soul are bright lights. Can’t wait to see more Taylor videos on your channel!! We will come if you put it out!! 🤗🫶🏼🥰

Reputation isn’t one of my favorite Taylor albums & even I know it was robbed. It really is a great body of work, but the industry and general public was still against her at that time. She really did deserve an album of the year nomination.
Taylor wore heels 👠 for 3 half hours on the eras tour, With the exception of a few songs. Taylor is so dedicated to her craft. She is literally a genius her IS 160 pretty impressive.❤
UA-cam has a compilation of behind the scenes of Taylor creating all the Reputation songs that is a great watch. It would be a fun to watch and react to.
Taylor is a persevere type of person, In the beginning Taylor wrote songs for other people, Taylor realized that she loved writing her own songs and the whole process, Taylor writes and let's other people in on the process. She is very artistic.
omg you guys nailed it calling Taylor a people pleaser. in fact, she calls herself that in the song “You’re Losing Me” about having to break up with Joe Alwyn after 6 years 😭 hope you’ll react to that!
HAHAHAHAH i'm LOL so loud, I just came over from your reaction to I CAN DO IT WITH A BROKEN HEART!!!! Quick, you realized quick, just how talented she is, I love that, and am now a sub!
WOW you guys made so many insightful observations here that will come back into play. Like, your takes on her being an inherent "people pleaser", and the way she acts in studio sessions, producers in this documentary (taylor has "making of the album" studio sessions for the reputation album which you guys might even enjoy watching before listening to that album to hear those vs the finished products, and the 1989 grammy museum where she talks through some of the production + performs them acoustically). Honestly if you guys enjoyed this and want to check her out outside of just the albums it could be cool if you did separate videos for each era, of like "interviews" or "music video behind the scenes". Just a thought :)
@@ChannelSee1 Glad you like the suggestion! And I like that you guys are pacing yourself, one album a month so you still have time for your other content is a great goal. :)
Thank you both for going into this with an open mind!! She is an artistic genius, from songwriting to performances to directing, she can do it all. She also is a kind and loving person in general, donating to local food banks on her ERA's tour, to hurricane relief, and her 22 hat giveaway as examples. SHE is the reason Swifties are so dedicated and loyal, because she is AMAZING! Also, 3 cats total, Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin. FYI the kitten in the video is Benjamin Button (check out making of ME video to see when she 1st met him)
Taylor wrote every single song on speak now album. Cause people were saying that Taylor didn't write any of her songs. So She proved them wrong. Everyone says she is so down to earth 🌎.
You should watch the short film version of “All Too Well”.. Just be prepared to be floored! There’s also a short behind-the-scenes, making-of video that really shows her directing skills. (She wrote and directed the short film.)
Reputation was the _second_ album she did with Max Martin and Johan Shellback as co - executive producers. Her last "country" album was Red (but Taylor has never stayed in a pidgeonhole). They worked with her (3 songs) on her 2012 album Red (the pop songs), then took over as primary producers when she embraced pop with 1989 (album of the year #2) in 2014; there was a delay (she went into hiding for a year, bc Kimye) and they produced about half of Reputation in 2017. Antonoff got his first production credits on a couple songs on her 1989 album, and has worked on most of her albums since (except maybe Evermore; he was producing an album for someone else then. and one of his own. Aaron Dessner did a lot of the production for folklore (AOTY #3) and Evermore, and some songs on the re - records). Joel Little did a lot of Lover; he's the producer you see in the movie doing ME! and Only the Young (soundtrack song), when she's changed record labels. The film doesn't address any of the issues with her label over her masters; nor delve in any depth into her dating life. No ex bashing -- she's a class act.
Love your reaction and insights!! I have adhd so it takes me a little bit to catch everything in videos like this but I love Taylor and going through it with someone else always brings up points that I might’ve missed.
@@ChannelSee1it's not a mistake per se, many swifties believe that there was an album named "Karma" in between 1989 and reputation and it got scrapped due to the whole Kanye incident and I think they were pointing out that swifties got excited when you mentioned Karma.
Taylor's mom is her best friend, Her mom has been through bouts with breast cancer, She has beat her cancer thus far, Thank God especially for her mom and there family.❤
Taylor is one of the most humble, kind, generous, funny, sweet, pure, loving and talented people on this planet. A lot of the hate came from people being brainwashed by the media between 2014-2018 and the hate train that Kanye and Kim started against her by illegaly recording and editing a false video and turning the world against her. Kanye and his bestie Scooter have been trying to take Taylor down for so long because she is a savvy buissness woman and a person who have changed and improved the music industry and fighting for artists rights for so many artists (and producers), and they are still not able to control her, eventhough Scooter tried by stealing her masters, but that didn´t end well for him... Label exc and the top industry men are so tired of her having so much success and that they never can make anyone else as successful as her, even HITSDD wrote a long article about that a couple of months ago, how these men are trying to find ways to bring her down.
From what Taylor has said iin interviews that she watches Friends,SVU special victims unit , Taylor named her cat after her character's name, I don't remember to many others, I guess u guys can Google it. You guys have done a great job today, A lot of people thought the way you guys did before the documentary.

@@Kelly-i4j Not currently, we will release some of our favorite songs over time. If we have the time we may edit out a highlights down the road but we have so many obligations each week its impossible currently.
Yay, guess I’m heading over to patreon! 🤗 Can’t choose just one fave album since the order constantly changes depending on my mood. My top 5 at the moment are reputation (patiently waiting for rep tv), ttpd, 1989, lover, and folklore … however, evermore will probably occupy my top spot soon since fall is right around the corner. 🍂☕️
Favorite Taylor album: It's so hard to choose, but for me it's Midnights (til dawn edition! the bonus tracks are also so good), followed by Reputation, Evermore and 1989(tv) all tied for second! Folklore has some of my favorite songs, tho (My Tears Ricochet, Exile) and lately I've been listening to Red(tv) a ton more. IF I really had to pick I'd say an order, I'd say: Midnights, Reputation, Evermore, 1989(tv), Folklore, Red(tv), TTPD, Speak Now(tv), Fearless(tv), Debut
a theory currently going on is that taylor must be a fan of the tv show/book saga “Outlander”, which is fantastic and would be great to see reacted to by you guys! its in the same realm of quality as early Game of Thrones in my opinion, but in a bit of a different way given the difference in the kind of genre of it (historical adventure with elements of fantasy). it would be really awesome to see Outlander with you guys
I’m a swiftie and the shows I personally like: Killing Eve, Friends, Handmaids Tale, Claim to Fame, Grey’s Anatomy (Taylor actually named one of her cats after a main character), This Is Us, Suits, Queens Gambit, The Good Wife… I could go on 😅
Taylor shouldn’t take a stand on anything. There was an isis attacked planned in vienna show of the era’s tour. Source: austrian government. Imagine her life once she starts to have more political opinion.
I agree 100%! Any true fan of Taylor's knows her beliefs in major political issues (especially lgbtq+), women's rights, gender equality etc. In a tense environment and a country of MAGATs and threatened violence, coming forward endorsing Kamala has the potential to be dangerous for both her and her fans. Plus think of it this way...she endorses Kamala who supports lgbtq rights and Trump parents decide their little ones aren't attending a concert of a queer supporter. So many disappointed little girls and boys because their parents are homophobic. Best to stay quiet.
I'm PEGFOR 1, and you're Welcome. ❤ I assumed you missed your misspelling of Taylor (Tayloy)...which is kind of important...lol [1.37] Love your reactions! Looking forward to your TTPD reactions! Please do more reactions of her LIVE Reputation tour, and her other live performances!
In the kanye conversation, they cut the whole thing down. She'd asked for the whole song. But if you listen to the whole 25 minute call she's also really obviously uncomfortable in the conversation. Her 'no' is there.... but without saying 'no'. And people can be bitchy about it but if you listen to the whole 25 minutes its so obvious how uncomfortable she is which the song.
I have never seen a man react to “Intro/Ready for It” from Reputation tour and not instantly become a Swiftie. Right after they pick their jaw up off the floor. 😹 Go ahead, I dare you! 💕
23:00 yes thats Joe Alwyn. british bfs/flings - Joe Alwyn, Harry Styles, Tom Hiddleston, Matty Healy scottish bf - Calvin Harris american bfs - Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Connor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal, Travis Kelce
Fun Fact: During the documentary, when she received the Grammy for 1989 and she's like shouldn't I have someone I can run to...she did. His name was Calvin Harris and she was really stuck in that relationship with him and was trying to find a way out 🤣
I remember the one country awards show where she won and Faith Hill threw a fit on camera! Funniest thing ever. Then Kanye and she took it soo hard, she disappeared for quite a while.
I laughed when you said I could see Taylor being CEO of a company oneday when she was at the head of the table for a business meeting. Taylor has her own management and production companies. She is her own boss. Her divorced parents are her #2's. They travel with her to every concert date she has ever had. As you saw her, Mom has cancer so she goes to as many shows as she can. Her Dad always has guitar picks that have pictures of Taylor from her most recent album in his pocket and hands them out to fans. He even has them in his everyday life. Taylor's fans know who her parents are. If a fan asks him for a picture at the grocery store or tell him they are fans, he pulls out some picks. I think that is so funny and cool. She has a brother a few years younger. Austin graduated from Notre Dam with a degree in some form of entertainment. He has done a little bit of acting and is Taylor's # 2 or 3. It says a lot about him that he went to college to learn the business instead of just saying "Oh, I know my sister will give me a job. I don't need to learn the business." You are right about her being down to earth as much as possible. I have heard in interviews how other celebrities who aren't quite as famous say she is surprisingly normal and that she is very funny and up for anything. I have never thought of her as being very funny and up for anything. Please don't call yourselves Swifties. So many of them are toxic that it gives us normal ones and Taylor a bad name. If you become fans of Taylor, it is better to say a fan. A lot of her haters are black people that have never even listened to her. It is weird. It has been that way once she left Country music. Someone can not like someones music but the vitriol she gets is unreal. I wonder if minds would change if they knew how much rap and hip hop she listens to. She goes to some of their concerts and I bet they don't even know it. She went to Kendrick's concert in 2022 and would probably have gone to his show this year if she wasn't on tour.

"I'm gonna get you back" would be great to have a video on!
Promis every swifty died when you asked if KARMA is an album. XD
lol I think you're the first person to point our my mistake. - Cam
@@ChannelSee1it's not a mistake per se, many swifties believe that there was an album named "Karma" in between 1989 and reputation and it got scrapped due to the whole Kanye incident and I think they were pointing out that swifties got excited when you mentioned Karma.
I loved this reaction ❤
End Game featuring Future and Ed Sheeran is the bomb! Great video.
one of my favorite shows is the buccaneers on apple tv, they have a couple of taylor songs in there also
Taylor's mom is her best friend, Her mom has been through bouts with breast cancer, She has beat her cancer thus far, Thank God especially for her mom and there family.❤
Well, i enjoyed watching you guys react to her doc....😊
You like the kitten? Wait until you watch Me! Ft Brendon Urie 😂
“Closeted swifties” and then they take a break to jam out to you belong with me 😂❤
About tv shows & being a Taylor fan: a lot of us started watching grey's anatomy, Law&order SVU and Friends because of her
Taylor is one of the most humble, kind, generous, funny, sweet, pure, loving and talented people on this planet.
Taylor Swift wrote the song "This is what you came for" sang by Rihanna featured w/ Calvin Harris.
3:45 I understand what she means though bc when I was a kid I thrived off people telling me I was doing a good job
Just come across you guys, really enjoying your intelligent, thoughtful insights 👏👏
From what Taylor has said iin interviews that she watches Friends,SVU special victims unit , Taylor named her cat after her character's name, I don't remember to many others, I guess u guys can Google it. You guys have done a great job today, A lot of people thought the way you guys did before the documentary.
Full Length, minimal editing reaction to "The Tortured Poets Department" is available on our patreon RIGHT NOW! Enjoy :)
And what's your favorite Taylor Swift album?
Is an edited version on you tube?
@@Kelly-i4j Not currently, we will release some of our favorite songs over time. The entire reaction is 4 hours and is a lot to edit at this moment for us so that's why its patreon exclusive at this moment.
Oh man. It depends on my vibe. The ones a play most: currently TTPD bc it’s newest, folklore, reputation, Red, Speak Now and Debut. ❤
closeted swifties 😂❤ this is ICONIC
more of her pls
New sub! ❤ the reactions!
a theory currently going on is that taylor must be a fan of the tv show/book saga “Outlander”, which is fantastic and would be great to see reacted to by you guys! its in the same realm of quality as early Game of Thrones in my opinion, but in a bit of a different way given the difference in the kind of genre of it (historical adventure with elements of fantasy). it would be really awesome to see Outlander with you guys
I’m a swiftie and the shows I personally like: Killing Eve, Friends, Handmaids Tale, Claim to Fame, Grey’s Anatomy (Taylor actually named one of her cats after a main character), This Is Us, Suits, Queens Gambit, The Good Wife… I could go on 😅
What an elite list. Killing eve and This is Us so far apart but very enjoyable
Watch the Reputation Stadium Tour video. Iconic.
Taylor does all the estics on the eras tour. I watched so many of her live stream from the eras tour it was so lit.❤
22:00 so proud you knew this lol!
Great feedback guys! ❤
Ahhh love your broncos shirt!
The guy eating breakfast is Taylor’s dad
Paps is OLD SCHOOL (1910s) for paper or newspaper/media.
Why cut the Kanye-part? Think I know why…
His name is Austin and he is younger than Taylor. Lotner is Italian I think. I'm not sure.
Yes, younger bro Austin. Taylor Lautner is an American from Michigan
About the kayne event she worte him a song called "innocent"
I think y'all would really enjoy the 1989 world tour. It's on UA-cam!!!
Weren’t u haters just a couple of videos ago? Damn that was fast. Like where this is going😂
Taylor wears heels for just about 3 and half hours on the eras tour.
Subscribed for more Taylor Swift reactions 🔥
Taylor did write a song called Tim McGraw.
I can't believe they said, "was Karma an album too?" - Oh fellas, if you only knew 🤣
That was the moment i went from not knowing who Kayne was - to hating him
Taylor has one brother his name is Austin I think he may be younger than Taylor, Taylor Lotner is Italian and he and Taylor is very good friends.
Travis and Taylor are both 34 years old. Very happy couple.
You must watch her live!
Taylor is one of the few pop performers that I have found multiple songs where I PREFER the live version over the recorded
Joe Alwyn and Taylor were together for 6 to 6 half years, After they broke up, Not long after Taylor showed up for Travis Kelsey foot Ball game's.
I have never seen a man react to “Intro/Ready for It” from Reputation tour and not instantly become a Swiftie. Right after they pick their jaw up off the floor. 😹 Go ahead, I dare you! 💕
23:00 yes thats Joe Alwyn.
british bfs/flings - Joe Alwyn, Harry Styles, Tom Hiddleston, Matty Healy
scottish bf - Calvin Harris
american bfs - Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Connor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal, Travis Kelce
I CANNOT WAIT to see your reaction to All Too Well 10 min version TV. It’s about her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. You will 🤯🤯🤯
Can you react to The Man music video?
We will be reacting to her ENTIRE catalog of albums and music videos. Stay tuned for more!
Fun Fact: During the documentary, when she received the Grammy for 1989 and she's like shouldn't I have someone I can run to...she did. His name was Calvin Harris and she was really stuck in that relationship with him and was trying to find a way out 🤣
All that came out, he never came across as supportive of her or her talent
I think she IS a CEO of a big company 😉
I remember the one country awards show where she won and Faith Hill threw a fit on camera! Funniest thing ever. Then Kanye and she took it soo hard, she disappeared for quite a while.
Im a Gen X Swift. She's got us all.
Southern draw cracks me up as a fellow PENNSYLVANIAN😂
No hate, I'm a Swiftie, but she is from my county, which is like an hour from Philly
Yes, but she moved to Nashville as a kid. My accent changes a bit every time I go to Canada lmao
I don't need to learn the business."
You are right about her being down to earth as much as possible.
Taylor just one 7 VMA'S Taylor and post Malone. Congratulations Taylor and Post Malone.
18:48 How much to get y'all to stand up and turn around? Genuinely asking for a friend.
Yall need to watch victim music video for the song “The Man” it’s such an important narrative on the double standards in the music industry
I would love to see you react to The Man
