Reminds me somewhat of an experience back in 76 I believe, 15 miles north of Galena, Alaska. Only there was no electric, no heat aside from what we got from burning logs in that old rusty barrel, and there were gaps between some of those logs you could fit your arm through. Army Rangers built it. Still, it kept me a my buds alive. I miss those days and I really really miss those guys. Thanks for this vid 🙂

@@sunUK20 late teens I believe. I was a young GI at the time who had been given a week's leave. Which was a joke, because hey where were we going to go right? But we found someplace. I also recall another time when I first got statoned at Galena about 3 months prior. I was off duty at the time and having hiked as a kid I was always looking for adventure. So I when I saw this wide open area with trees on the horizon I started hiking. Snow was up to my waste. I got about a hundred yards and I heard some guys yelling from behind me. I turned to look and heard them yell. "You're on the Yukon river." lol. I went back to the AK after I got discharged, but most everyone I knew was gone. Even the locals. The Yukon river had flooded just before I left, so it was pretty decimated. Lot of locals migrated up river.
Had a number of experiences while serving. Some good some not good. Regardless, each and every experience, good or bad,, will stay with me till my dying day. Videos like this one you posted represent solitude to me. And let me tell you, during times in your life when all around you is in turmoil, peace and solitude can always be found within. I wish you peace my friend.

Back then, this season was filled with playing outside when snowflakes fell, sipping hot chocolate, and having snowball fights with my family. Now, as I listen to music that revives these nostalgic memories, I capture the enchanting ambiance of winter once again. This brings back a bunch of beautiful memories for me as a child. I remember I used to live in a old place with cracks in the walls and snow would blow in at night and the fire would go out early morning and the snow would come in the cracks of the house. The south the wind blows stronger than you know in the winter but the cold almost kills you in your sleep and you sleeping really well. But I still sleep like a baby if I hear that sound. Thanks for the sound tracks

I would love to be in a log cabin like this. The fire would be crackling. My dogs will be snoozing and I will be sitting there in the rocking chair with a big mug of hot chocolate listening to the flames. This is the most peaceful wonderful sound we can experience

I’m originally from the Midwest but now live in Arizona so every now and then I have to watch a video like this. Loved the snow when I didn’t have to drive in it!
Or shovel for two hours to get the driveway open. Then I would have to get on a couple of wheelbarrows of wood for the stove. Imagine the temperature outside of 15*F with wind gusting to 25mph. When you come in, take of the jacket, kick off the boots and throw a log in the Clayton then sit down….ahhhh….life is great and God is good!

А ещё чайник на краю печи как то пытается о себе что то сказать ,то вообще можно наслаждаться этой метелью , посапывая, а иногда попивая чай, и можно отдохнуть от души от всех хлопот, забот, от всех дел на работе, дома, и в конце концов от всех-всех, и даже от семьи. И вот так проваляться дней пять и бодрым вернуться дальше к жизни.
