For the second video in our series debunking EV myths, we're taking a look at the argument that EVs can't charge if it's raining. This one is easy to debunk, so we'll just show you. I had another video planned, but we had a day long rain in North Texas, so here it is.

I’ve supercharged my 2017 Model S with 115k miles from Nova Scotia to Montana to FL. Plugged in during the rain several times. But I don’t like to charge during a bad thunderstorm.

Push the button on the handle right when you grab it from the charger. By the time you turn around to plug in, the flap is open.

We took our Bolt on a rainy day road trip. I have several apps loaded to my phone ready to go, so I just hopped out and plugged in. So many EV owners were out there pressing buttons in the pouring rain, silly people just download the app.
