2015 i had 5 months of brutal prostatitus. After reading almost by accident: unlearn your pain - i healed 100% in one week

Karl, time you wrote a definitive book on CPPS to complement Alan Gordon's more generic THE WAY OUT. What's missing in Alan's otherwise marvelous book are the tools specific/peculiar to the management of this condition, especially the biological/physical component of the 'biopsychosocial' model experts like yourself propose. Susie Gronski's book is one fine attempt to incorporate all aspects of this holistic approach but as a practising doctor suffering from CPPS I would love to hear -- in print -- your unique voice. Waiting for a response. Thanks and warm regards.
P.S. Is there any place in your protocol for modalities like Transcutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation or drugs like Amitryptiline/Nortryptiline in the short term to ease the pain if it's bad enough to ruin one's sleep and push back recovery?

Thanks for your support and kind words. A book has been mentioned several times by my piers and patients. It is a project that we are working on slowly behind the scenes. Watch this space..
I have no issues with medication, or nerve stimulation to be part of a patients recovery. But, I would always encourage patients to use their own self care techniques to help calm down their symptoms. It means a patient has greater control of their own symptoms. Combined together they can create a really powerful recovery protocol.
