How old were you when you went through all of this..?? Supposably men over 50 do not get chronic pelvic pain syndrome... The reason I asked the last 5 months I have gone through major anxiety and panic disorder. It has affected my mental health and physical health quite significantly. Most recently now I was diagnosed with possible prostatitis. However I am 50 years old. I did have or was diagnosed with prostatitis approximately 8 to 9 years ago.. after a few months it eventually went away on its own. Been suffering again for the last 2 months... Still going to urologist for more testing...

Thank you so much for your share… I have struggled with this for a few years and it’s turned my life upside down .. I never quit but I do get so scared and down on myself… listening to this has giving me another push to get up and keep going … no one understands how bad this condition is for a person to go through… I talked to you about a year and a half ago on Skype or zoom … I’m Josh from San Diego… I Wil keep pushing

Keep on working to create the right environment for your body to heal and recover
My advise is to not battle/fight your way out of this. Yield, soften, let go. Be gentle and kind to your body

Pardon me Robbie for being blunt, but sitting in the UK it's fine for you to say 'don't do it alone'. As a sixty year old practising physician and CPPS sufferer fighting a lone battle in India, I have no other option. Thanks to the incredible efforts of commited counselors like Karl and Susie Gronski, I see a glimmer of light at the end of this dark tunnel. Thanks a bunch anyway.

Walling yourself off from people who are a source of unwelcome drama, thereby increasing your general anxiety level -- the kind of people who can be labelled mildly 'toxic' in current lingo -- is a crucial component of the recovery process IMHO.

Robbie's comments @ 7:30 mins mark are well worth and listening and to someone who is going through this now it's inspiring.
