- Hier zu sehen ist der Löschzug der Feuerwache 1, von der Berufsfeuerwehr Chemnitz, beim ausrücken zusammen mit dem eher selten gesehenen Einsatzführungsdienst, zu einem unbekannten Brand. Kurze Zeit später kommt auch noch das Hilfeleistungs-Löschgruppenfahrzeug, sowie das Tanklöschfahrzeug der Wache 2 vorbei, zum selben Einsatz. Die letzten Clips hatten nichts mit dem eigentlichen Einsatz zu tun, sonder zeigen das vorher schon mit Blaulicht gesehene TLF beim Pflanzenbewässern in der Chemnitzer Innenstadt. Viel Spaß mit dem Video!
[ENGLISH] Captured here is a full company response of the Chemnitz Fire Department turning out for a structure fire from the historic main fire station. The 'firefighting convoy', a common response style for fire departments in Germany, is made up of the battalion/ command car, rescue engine, turntable ladder, and tanker. For this call an additional 'operations chief' was dispatched together with the regular convoy because two firefighting companies had been assigned to the call. The convoy from station 1 was followed by the rescue engine and tanker from Chemnitz fire station 2, which responded to the same fire call. The final clip has nothing to do with the actual call, but shows the an old tanker watering trees in the city center due to the hot and dry conditions in Germany right now.

Very nice catch from one of the nicest old stations in Germany.
To be honest I didn't expect you to visit such a relatively small city here ... well it's a large one for us, but relatively small when you compare it to the really large cities across the country.
Maybe you visit Germany again and you'll travell tosome more cities as well. Although the FD in my former home town Regensburg for sure is impressive as it has the state's largest fire station counting 55 units, it doesn't run many calls (only sth around 5 to 6 calls in a 24h shift). I currently live outside the state's capital city of Munich, but to be honest the apparatus from the Munich FD don't count to the nicest, however station 1 downtown is as nice as station 1 in Chemitz.
Well, we'll see what your next destinations will be :) IMO any video from another country can be interesting
EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos Thank you very much for the positive comment! :) Yes you are right, and Chemnitz honestly was not at the top of my list for places to film on my recent visit to Germany. However Mr. SaveliveTV was able to convince me to stop by in his town for a day, and it was worth it ;) ...As you mentioned the fire station itself is beautiful, which is always a big draw (I just had to get at least one response from there), but I think it is also nice to get videos from places that have not been ‘over-filmed’ every now and then. I think many cities in Germany have very cool fire trucks, and I will be back again for sure, but it’s never easy to decide where to go since I usually don’t have the time to wait a whole day at a station for just one or two videos :/
...The next destinations will be Dubai (although filming is not my priority there), as well as Singapore (again), and possibly Malaysia. I am also back in Vietnam right now and getting some videos here...There’s also still a lot more to upload form Germany of course. So stay tuned, you never know what you might see next... 😄👍🏼

The thing is: I sued to live in a tiny village in the far north-west of the country. I was living right at the main road going through the village and I was close to the intersection of the only other main road. I filmed emergency vehicles going through there all the time, but I wasn't able to film the fire trucks from one of the very close fire stations, just few minutes from me and probably as close as the main station in the village.
Then, I was on my shift on the ambulance, he came there for vacations and after like 2 minutes he filmed the apparatus from exactly that one station. If that wouldn't be bad enough for me: he filmed at the previously named intersection, with the windows of my flat visible in the video ... Yes I sure was jealous for that catch :D :D :D
