Hello!! You are the only podcaster i've seen who regularly works with blue sky fibers. I was gifted some gorgeous blue bsf skyland over a year ago and could not figure out what to knit until you mentioned leslie friend. I was admiring how her ranunculuii fit and then watched your podcast and the coin hit the slot!!! I know, weird comment, but it's a huge help to me, so i thought i'd share!!!!! You just never know how you can affect anyone. Thank you!
Love the beanies! Thanks for the shawl pattern name, I’m all about the shawl knitting of late. (A shawl is basically all I need in our mild Phoenix winters.) Smooth sailing ahead on the Field Day lovely green cardi. Looks like it fits this time.
Eeeee thank you so much for the shoutout! 😄 Copper says hi! I can't wait to check out more of your videos-I'm planning a date with your least worn summer knits video for this weekend, such a good concept!
Thank you for another great video! I found you a couple of weeks ago on your Flock roundup and convinced myself that I need to attend next year. I was born and raised in the PNW and life brought me to Phoenix AZ where you really need to put your knitwear on rotation for those limited months when the AC is not constantly running...I have really enjoyed hearing about and watching some of the antics of your cats. I am curious, we have a cat in the house that is an absolute yarn bandit, how do your cats deal with the yarn? Most of the knitters I watch have cats and it always amazes me as I have to secure my yarn to prevent shenanigans...Thank you again for your videos!
So nice to meet you! I do have to put all my yarn away when it's not in use so these little mischief monsters don't get to it. I keep everything in a cabinet with glass doors so it's completely cat-proof. They mostly leave my yarn alone while I'm knitting, though they'll try to make a run for it if I accidentally drop a ball on the floor!
Kind of a side note: I’m assuming the sweater on your mannequin is one of your patterns. I’ve been really interested in knitting something like that but I’ve honestly been a little confused on how it’s meant to be styled.. Do you think you could demonstrate how it could be styled? Do you wear a tshirt under it? A tank top?
This was actually a pattern I test knit a few years back, called the Debonnaire Sweater by Renate Dziedataja. I typically wear this with a black cami underneath since there's a bit of a gap, though the designer pinned together the join to make a higher neckline, which is also an option. I thought about maybe adding a snap or something, but I haven't yet. Here's the pattern page if you're curious: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/debonnaire-sweater

Hehe hi Copper!! Your podcast is such a fun one to watch, I'm happy to share. 😊
I love the colors in the beanie. I like how the tones match. It's supposed to be 87* here today. Thankful for le A/C

I often feel guilty when I “manage” color changing yarn to remove sections of color - a clandestine activity 🤫🫣
Haha it really is!
