Thanks for the info. Currently doing my research and considering the 120 pdl. For fishing here in Rhode Island in the bays rivers and ocean front for striped bass and blues. I currently have an old wilderness systems tarpon 120 which I love but really want to pedal and fish. Great job. Subscribed
Nice man. I run a salty off shore. Just do a crate in the back for rod and tackle storage. Then get tethers for your pillars, fish grips and other tools. Then just toss them under the seat.
Nice upload 👍🏻 Have a Salty and BW132. Both great yaks for their intended purposes. Never been on a 106 pdl. Curious, hows the turning radius and nimbleness vs the Salty? The only thing the Salty really needs is side pockets. Performance inshore is excellent. Hull slap can be annoying. The BW is awesome for longer trips and covering lots of water. Overnight trips as well.
Hey would the 106 be good for fishing out front in Rhode island i dont plan on going more then 3-400 yards off the shore what one would you recommend? Ill be fishing the river long island sound anf the south shore of rhode island
These are the two models I am looking at. If you could have just one kayak, would you keep the 106 or the Salty? I am mostly fishing lakes paddling 8-10 miles a trip for bass and pike…

106 will be fine.
Can I use the 106 on saltwater? Mostly fishing the keys.
Oh, yeah! That is all I use it in.
You should have just used the 106 in the gulf. It's way more stable. The Salty is faster but is sketchy in rougher conditions offshore.

That distance, Salty.
@@panhandlesalt thank you!
Just started looking at these things, do you mind sharing the Black Friday price so I know what I'm looking at when shopping?
Thanks,
Brad

You are way off on those weight numbers and capacity.
