Hahaha! I was listening to one of my Playlists on Spotify that has this song in it before I started your video, and I started freaking out thinking my phone wasn't stopping playback so I could hear the video. Good choice of music, my friend! Also, great content! This helped me immensely when reassembling my engine and installing this kit. I took it a step further and added a Turbosmart Serviceable inline filter to the turbo, since I removed the screens. I'm much less worried about clogging this big old thing than I am with the screens in the banjo bolts. Thanks brother!
First off I want to say most of this was helpful. Secondly tighten the Tee on the banjo first otherwise it’s hell getting a little 14mm wrench on the top portion of the Tee like this guy suggests. Third I could not find information regarding his “flood start” priming method so I didn’t chance it. Also if you have to get to the middle oil plug you pretty much have to pull the intake. (09 wrx) Have fun Good luck
Great video, I'm guessing you put the provided bolt in place where the banjo bolt originally was? I'm referring to banjo bolt that was on the top of the head.
I've got 200k plus on my lgt if you do proper oil changes the banjo bolt filter fail is an old wives tail. And I'm running vf40. That filter in the video was clean as heck.
Hey if you wouldn’t mind I need some help on my forester if u wouldn’t mind getting back to me maybe soemthing you have seen or if it’s not a issue thanks.!
I went to the site and they didn't have a version for the 2005 Baja Turbo, or atleast they didn't tout one as being able to fit. Does anyone know if a oil line version will fit?
@@rachelbrownS4yless Yes it works perfectly! Just make sure you take out the banjo bolt oil screens inside the oil feed bolts that go into the block itself and also your turbo banjo bolt screens! Let me know if you need any help!
im not sure ab your engine but i have an 04 wrx and what did was pull out the turbo inlet pipe and that exposed the oil feed line i think enough for me to cut it out, im in the process of doing it and i don’t want to take the whole manifold off either lol. i’ll keep you updated
You still have to take the turbo off but you can reroute the lines to go around the intake manifold. It's a little bit more complicated but you can make it work.

Yes it can, but you probably can remove all of the hardline unless you take the intake off. But ultimately it depends on what car you have, 04 FXT you don't

it was very painful to watch those intake ports being wide open without a rag covering them from fallen bolts, tools, and dust...
Great video!

Great video, answered a lot of questions I had. I appreciate how concise yet thorough you were. Thank you for sharing!

I know it’s been a while... but you hold the gas to the floor.... or unplug the crank sensor
good video Cody... just to be clear, you run the banjo bolts without the filters? thanks.
That looks really nice; form and function!

0:09 "so with everything out of the way....." 😐😐😐😐😐 Great video, thank you!!!
yes! im buying a used lgt auto 130k for 2,000 owner says its just a slight oil leak "from turbo feed filter"
and i think this will fix the problem
Do head gasket and timing belt
Thankyou big dog i needed this
What did you do with your stock turbo mounting bracket which secure the turbo from the bottom (up-pipe -> cylinder head -> turbo)
So i have the exact same car doing pretty much everything you are. Did you use the flood method to prime?
Love the vid. Can you send me the link to the parts? Oil feed lines.
Will this fit onto a 09 impreza gt..basically wrx? I went on the website and to says it doesn't fit but on ur vid it looks exactly like my motor

Did you not need the plug banjo bolt?

Yes it will fit your 05 baja turbo since it is the exact same motor as the 04-05 Forester XT turbo
Will this IAG kit work with an jdm ej205? Also what about 2002 2004 wrx.

@@THEKGB333 Hey I'm about to get this for my jdm ej205
Should I just get the basic kit or get all the fittings?
I'm about to do this myself I was wondering if I'd need anything else like intake manifold gasket and what not
id definatly get them dont wanna put it all back together and have intake leaks
I know it’s a pain in the ass, but why not offer a kit for the other side?
Can you do this without taking intake manifold off
YES !!!
Is this applicable to Wrx FA20 engine?
I'm curious too.
Where do you order the kit from bro?
anybody know what size tap and die i could use for the banjo bolt?
