Awesome man I totally agree. Soo many people are complaining about how nissan has the same old body style. They've improved it over the years. I Love the new air vents on top of the front fenders. Looks VERY Racy and aggressive
The 2020 Nismo is not the first GTR with carbon ceramic brakes. The 2009/2010 Spec V GTR also had carbon ceramic brakes.
True, but It's the first GTR to get them standard. In the Spec V it was an optional add on for around $40k.
I think this is the best looking GTR yet. But £175,000 and still 600hp. Might as buy a standard one, take it to Lichfield get it tuned.

Not the first GTR to have carbon ceramic brakes. The 2009 GTR Spec-v had carbon ceramic brakes.
Conrad Sealy the 09 gtrs had lots of problems so like he said they wanted to make sure the car is at it’s best

Just drove a GTR today, what a beast! Been lucky enough to drive a few supercars and it's by far the most enjoyable personally.

Paul I'm sorry mate, but 1000k drive and this video literally told me nothing of that experience... edit was choppy with no flow, also do a smidge of research, carbon ceramics have been available on older generations albeit in certain 'editions'
You did a very poor job mate. I think because we've seen much better reviews previous model GT-Rs and know the modding capabilities of these cars that knowledge over shadows this poor attempt of a review. Brand new model GT-R and this what you consider actual work to put it out to the world. Sorry mate. I rather wait for chris Harris to do it justice.
And those vents are not for ventilation like he said😂😂😂 they are for relief air pressure in the wheel bay

I just made a video which shows the depreciation curves for the different GTRs. Especially the cars from before 2009 offer such good value for money. Can't go wrong with them. I feel that the latest Nismo priced itself a bit out of the market. Anyways, cool you got one for the trip!
True, Nissan needs to step up its game.
If I remember correctly, I think the '09 and later models have potential transmission failing issues. Plus, good luck finding one stock or "lightly modded."
lots of stock ones if you look. But theyre rare. also once bellhousing upgrade has been done youre good to go
Front lights seem to be getting more and more decorative and recessed. Those lights are half way up the bonnet. Soon they'll design light clusters that'll touch the windscreen 🤪

Would love to have 1. I remember driving my vspec 33, was only 800bhp to Sweden then Poland and back,yes I did cane it a bit and only filled up about 5 times..........however on the norschliefe giving it large......I was doing 3rd of a tank per lap. Lol. So Gtrs are great for light footing but put them turbos to use and watch that gas needle drop. Lol.
I’ve driven my 2016 GTR Premium 2.5 hours and it definitely took a toll on the back. Can’t imagine a stiff af Nismo!

Don't have the money but if I were to chose between the nismo or the regular road version, I'd choose the road version.
The track won't be open 24/7 and there are speed limits.
Great that this video has great new content. Not many UA-camrs have filmed or let alone driven the new 2020 Nismo GTR. The Murcielago content is nice but I guess people do want a change.

Cheers Nice Video.. Let me ask you now. If you would compare this 2020 GTR NISMO with an BMW M4 GTS, which is a very sharp M Car in Chassis Stiffness and steering rack, Response of the center Line.. Which of both is even sharper and more direct?AND does the Front end Turn in that pointy in a curve as in the M4 GTS? Oh and maybe a quick comparison to a Ferrari F12 with its Ultra fast steering. I would Love to know this really detailed because I am much interested for buying one day.
The Nismo is in a totally different performance league compare to the M4 GTS

I think it's time they moved on from the R35 now. It's kinda old now. If they don't want an R36, that's cool but the R35 old now and the price here is a yoke.

Much Stiffer.. The most would take the normal GTR because it's really purely Track Focused. So you need the normal one 😉

Yes but every time they've updated it it's been refined to be better inside out. Very much a different car in many way's from the original, they get better looking, more slippery (better coefficient of drag), faster and more. They are more than fast enough for what they are anyway at this point.
I love how they are now, in my eye's it's as fresh as it needs to be for now. If they released what we have now back when the R35 was first shown, we would probably not have hated the change from the R34, or at least not as much as many did.

I guess some people just see the familiar shape and not notice how different they really are. If they look totally different, they would not be 911's anymore.
This is also why the R35 no longer uses the Skyline name, they are not totally different, but different enough to drop the iconic Skyline name.
