0:24 very good point, and good on you for being aware of it- although it's not like buying Hasbro's 'official' figures can't fit that description either
It bugs me a little that the rear windscreen is unpainted, while all the other windows are painted. But like with the face, it’s a minor thing to fix yourself, and he does only cost a quid, so we should probably be thankful that there’re any paint applications in the first place. 🤷🏻♂️
Ah, _Flight of the Bumblebee_ Because he's... he's one of those. Very clever. Would you say that, if you were to measure the amount of toy in weight, it would be one pound?
i broke my copy's head mid transformation, then i realized the model's neck ball joint only had a half of the stick attatched to the torso and the head was to tight. To anyone wanting to buy this or already have it, don't handle it too rough and make sure to never let the head touch anything during transformation
My biggest foray into KOs was Weijang's Sky Soarer, which is an upsized POTP Predaking, and like this little guy has some changes that make it a better toy (or 5 toys, whatever), but also QC issues, cheaper plastic, and other weirdnesses that make it frustrating. Like they added a little LED to the combiner head for glowing eyes! And the plastic is so thin the light bleeds through everywhere!
I have the actual New Age toy and it is as cute as you would imagine. Although this for significantly cheaper and sizing up with other toys easier does seem like a steal. I'm genuinely surprised it has a box and instructions at that price and isn't even more deficient.
I've owned this toy in the past! It's pretty nice imo. I didn't have that problem with the head or the wheel, though, maybe that's why yours was literally a tenth of the cost mine was. If anyone watching this is in or near Birmingham in the UK and wants to try this toy for themselves, I sold mine to Game HQ in the city center, and as far as I know it's still there. £15 rather than £1, but no QC issues that I could see when I owned it. Still has the gun and the instructions, and I did a little custom painting on the back spare wheel cover (which turned out to be incorrect but I reckon it looks nicer than reality anyway).
I got mine off eBay sometime ago from China to Australia and I paid way more than a pound, still cheap but not the same bargain. I adore mine, he had the face correctly installed thankfully and I used the Autobot symbol stickers that came with MP Goldbug and he stands pride of place on top of my Optimus in truck mode..... A better OSKO Bumblebee in my opinion would be from the MagicSquare Bee as that little Legend looks animation perfect IMO.
I bought this figure, and when I got it I found out my copy had his left shoulder using the right ball joint shoulder so technically I couldn’t transform it and it broke when I first tried to transform it
My figure has the same problem with the head, what part did you file down exactly? It looks like the ball on the body is the problem, too big to fit in the socket for the head, but I'm not 100% sure.
Sounds like the same issue yeah. I mostly filed around the circumference, but did a little all over until the ball could snap into place in the socket properly. Didn’t take that much, honestly. Good luck fixing yours!
I don't know if you're a fan of trailer reactions, but... one of the recommended videos on the side is a newly released trailer from Hasbro Pulse for "Transformers One", an origin story for Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee. I'm not sure what I think of it, but I suspect my almost-7-year-old nephew is going to lose is mind over it.
But was it good enough to make you go back for more? Seriously, even Steven Sansweet, the man with the biggest collection of Star Wars... everything, has a section for knock off stuff.
'Heely mode'🤣 I literally did laugh out loud.
That's definitely something they would use in a movie, too.

And thus Wib begins delving into the world of Transformers KOs.

It isn't painted on the original version either so I think they were just copying that. It is a little weird though.
“ In kind is the standard” cracked me up
Always nice when the years of being a miniature hobbyist pays off when you can modify or fix your transformers. Well, it is for me at least
You had me at heelie mode
It's the most important mode.
@@WibDoesStuff it truly is
I’ve had this fella in my cart for awhile now but after watching this I’m definitely going to get him. Great review!!!

He's got a built-in segway. Good for him
In the voice of Peter cullen "Auto-bots! Transform and in kind as the standard!"
Dude your hair is looking sweeeeet. Also good on you for choosing not to judge people based on their knees.
Came for Warhammer, stayed for Wib and critiques of capitalism

I bought one of these about 6 months ago. I managed to avoid the QC issues with mine. Pretty happy with it honestly.

Brilliant use of a commercial interstitial
Thank you! I thought it'd be more fun than just cutting to black for a moment :)
_Specifically_ apple tango?
Rumour is that Lego is releasing a Bumblebee this year. If it doesnt have a Heely mode out of the box I'll modify it myself.

Nice review. Subscribed
Oh no! What happened to goth Wib?
We were This close to greatness!
I'd buy that for a dollar!
For a single pound, I don't think I'd complain too much about need to mod it a little bit.

@@WibDoesStuff Wonderful, thank you for the advice!

Apple Tango is the superior Tango, this is good
Damn a knock off a knock off
Surprised you didn't review this on a brown sofa...
But was it good enough to make you go back for more?

Zero interest in transformers. I feel like I will watch anything Wib upload just for hist charm alone :D
