- The Honor Magic V2 is the new lightest and thinnest book-like foldable, measuring only 9.9mm when folded and 4.7mm when opened. Despite its thinness it packs a 5,000 mAh battery and 16GB of RAM with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Honor Magic V2 also features a triple camera main system and two selfie cameras on each of the two screens. The two screens measures 6.4-inch on the outside and 7.9-inch inside. - Наука та технологія

This is incredible! The thinest folding phone ever, pen support on both screens, and Google support too! For the first time in years I am not excited about the release of Samsung Galaxy Fold.

I tried ONCE on my wife's Z Fold 4 outer screen and I screamed to unfold it immediately! Thereafter, Samsung Z Fold series in no longer under my consideration ... until I bought the Honor Magic V2 Ultimate Edition!
Didn't think that I had to trade-in my Honor Magic 5 Pro this soon lol
Honestly, Honor is really filling in the gap that Huawei left, constantly putting out the best hardware on the market imo. Hope Honor gains as much dominance as Huawei once did, and I'm all here for it.

@@armanis1234 Both has its pros and cons. I also carry a Vivo X80 Pro when I travel. I feel like the animations and gestures are smoother on Honor than Vivo, but Vivo is closer to stock android compared to Honor which many people prefer. Really depends on your preferences.
I love ❤️ this guy 👦. He is always the one to show us the latest phone 📱 TECHNOLOGY. I don't understand why he has a low subscription. Maybe the youtube algorithm is jealous of him.

You and me both. You watch Samsung dump the price of their Fold 4mk2 (aka5) very quickly. Samsung are taking the p11111s. They haven't even given the option of trading the Fold 4 in on-line for a new 5 - have you noticed that? How to turn your back on your loyal (read MUPPET) customers. Hurry up Honor and release in the UK. You have a jumping ship Samsung user here. Two in fact.

Honor PLEASE launch this globally and in the US!! You have an amazing product on your hands! The goal of foldable should be to expand features with larger screen but also make it not feel more cumbersome to use, having a device this thin and weighs less than a 14 pro max (!!) goes a long way towards bridging that gap and making it feel like you’re not compromising comfort/usability to have an additional screen. With how much space is a commodity within phones, that new battery tech is revolutionary

Fold 5 looks very strong in tests... 400.000x open/close still oke. Wanna kniw what this does.
@@TheKing-pf9hw Samsung claimed that fold 5 can survive up to 200000 folds only 😅whereas magic v2 can last for over 400000 folds

This may almost reach the limit in terms of thickness, but this is really a perfect thickness. Hardly needs to be improved any further. Only with the design of the Huawei Mate XS 2 could they build it thinner without sacrificing USB-C
That is one amazing feat of engineering. Especially to make it still strong. Well done honor gotta give them props. Really hope it gets a global release and sells well
it will come to europe, IFA is 1.9.2023 and they will announce it there, i will buy this thing, so sick of my fold 3 and the fold 5 ist pretty much the same....

It's so surreal to see how far they come in making foldables thinner. This prove that ultra thinnest is a definite achievable goal with foldable phones. And integrating a larger battery is surreal for me as well. A 5000 mAh battery is more than satisfying on a foldable phone. 😎💯👍

This is fantastic, i never expected honor to one up huawei this soon. I do hope however, that companies don't forget that thinness is not the most important thing after a certain point. These devices are now finally thin enough, so now its time to focus on the cameras, especially zoom, dust and water resistance and durability.

I remember a time in which thin phones were really sought after. People then realized that there are certain things you lose with thin phones (camera quality, heat management). I wonder whether/when this will happen with foldables...

@@justinnerosa3750 No, I wouldn't. But my comment is more geared towards "there is probably a limit, a point after which the trade-off just doesn't make sense".
I think with the surface area of the foldables and components are spread out more, heat wouldn't be much of an issue compared to slab phones.
Cameras on the other hand I agree, not much can be done other than bigger and bigger camera bumps.
The trade off is already there - none of the foldies have top-of-the-line cameras.

This phone is sick, I normally travel with a phone and iPad pro but this thing may let me cut out the ipad so I can travel lighter. Still clearly an early adopter product with the price tag but this is the first generation of foldables where I've been really impressed. Hopefully there's a V2S model that comes stateside.

honestly i've always been on the fence about foldable phones because of how bulky they are and how small the batteries are. this one on the other hand i really want to get, Honor is doing an amazing job. I don't really know how i'd use the bigger screen on the phone since i've never really had a tablet but i can figure that out later on
great looks like a normal phone, also no compromise (other than maybe the wireless charging) hope oems start enabling a desktop mode for the inner screen

I was waiting for the fold 5 to buy it... but the rumors are very disappointing, practically identical in all specs to the fold 4. I didn't expect this honor, battery, design, screen, cameras... a great evolution. it will be my choice as soon as it arrives in europe.

It lacking wireless charging sucks, but I think the thickness is worth it. I was holding on for the Samsung fold, but if the software is as "multitasker friendly" as Samsungs, I think I'd go for this one if it rolled out in Europe!

Honor was the eye opener brand for me - first Chinese phone(yeah I was that -its MadE iN ChINa- idiot). Got lucky to snap Honor 9 for 2€ when they opened official online shop in Spain-and I was shocked how good it was. That's when all the interest in smartphones tech started for me. So yeah Honor is special for me...

I am excited for a global release too, fantastic piece of hardware. But at the same I am a little bit skeptical about the battery. If this is true and those 2 pieces of “credit cards” are giving a real 5000 mAh, looks to me like a reinvention in a battery segment.
It would be great if the stacked 2 of those batteries and give if a slightly thicker phone with something like 10.000mh I think we have the technology for it.

It's the same type of crease as other Chinese foldables. You can see it but it's not as deep as Samsung's

How can you even compare a cement brick Google with a look of a 10 year old phone to this beautiful marvel of engineering!? They are from 2 different eras... Honor needs to only up their game with updates! 😊
@@lunarpeople I'm not comparing. This just pops in my feed & just watch about it & was stunned by its engineering feat, the battery & the size of it plus no gap. I never fancy foldable phones till now. I have no issues carrying 'bricks' in my pocket but this device is something else. Something I've always envisioned for a long time. The galaxy fold has that stupid space gap for what idk. It's not a fold if it can't close that gap. Because of that, I never give a serious thought of purchasing it.

İ bought my oppo find n2 fold after i watched this youtubers video and I am very happy with my decision. I would like to see side by sie comparison with find n2 fold and magic 2 fold. Black color with gold finish looks elegant btw

Unfortunatelly they don't need to,sadly most people will just get a Z Fold, because it's a Samsung, so it doesn't matter how much better the competition clearly got. There is also software, One UI to be specific, which most people love for some reason, I personally hate it.
