Definitely not worth 50 grand, but not a bad car either. I bought my wife a used, low mileage 2018 300 C with 3.6 V6 a couple months ago. It has the 18 inch wheels, which have a smoother ride than the 20 inchers on the S model. The car gets decent mileage, around 26-27 mpg combined. And you are right about Uconnect...works much better than the Sync 2 in my 2015 F150. Overall, quite happy with the 300 C...purchase price was
It’s the kind of thing you either love it or not. I have the “S” (2019), and the cruising down the road part of the equation is super. KEEP IN MIND, the 20 inch wheels are splendid to look at and on a smooth road, a great asset to the ride. It has some nice handling characteristics. On a bad bumpy road however, you are going to feel the bumps a bit more. This car produces something akin to the “German” ride. A bit stiffer anyway than say a Cadillac. It’s no secret that the 300 uses a Mercedes E class suspension design from a few years ago. I like the ride as it is less fatiguing than a super plush bump free sort of thing. Anyway, it’s my second 300 and I feel it’s a good value for the price.
I just picked up a 2019 300C with the Hemi last week. $15,000 miles. Was a manufacturer car, owned by Chrysler Training Center. It’s literally like brand new. Absolutely love it. Had a 300M back in the day. Always liked a big American sedan.
Always thought the 300 was a beautiful car. $50,000 lol heck no. Like most cars buy a low mileage one that's a couple years old for about 50% off of original price.
Yea a 50.000$ "luxury sedan" thats based on a 1995 Mercedes. How does it feel driving a 2019 luxury car that's based on our tech from 24 years ago? lmao sucks
But he speaks the truth....even my parents told me from a young age that Honda’s and Toyota’s make the best cars....all my mom drives are Honda’s. You won’t be able to drive a Chrysler for 15+ years....and as I am currently looking for a cheap car myself, can’t find a Honda with low mileage because they last at least 500,000 miles.
When you're part of the "Fifty Something Club" like me, driving a Gentleman's Hot Rod is how it feels with my 2010 300C. Huge all the way around, 4 doors to lots of interior space including leg room, endless power and long distance cruising in beauty and style. Love the exhaust burble of the 5.7 at all speeds. Bought new and could care less about sad domestic resale value as this is a keeper with only our marks on it. To think Chrysler is dropping the 300 and will no longer offer a luxury flagship model is hard to take. WTH? Crossover...minivan....little FCA brick road toy car with pretty wheels or what??? NO WAY. Glad we've got what we got - so gorgeous and we're keeping it that way.
I love the 300. I had an 07 300 Touring 3.5L RWD and currently own a 13 C 5.7L AWD. I have a classic shifter vs the rotary knob and a custom exhaust to let that HEMI roar a bit. Love the comfort and style for the money.
TheRealATV just bought a 2014 300C Hemi, I like it a lot so far, just need to get me a good exhaust or a resonator delete with straight pipes or something along those lines
Such an underrated car and much more reliable and durable than the brand stigma suggests. RWD, available V8 engine. Get one now before it gets discontinued, before the death of RWD V8 cars. Huge dicounts, brand new V8 are offered for $35k , V6 for $23k.
Yeah some people say it's "unreliable" because "iT's A ChRySLEr" but realize the Pentastar and HEMI paired with the ZF 8 speeds in these things are bulletproof together. Both the engines and tranny are proven to be great! Unfortunately most haters hate on this car when most of them probably just owned a LeBaron and immediately thinks the rest is garbage.
I have a 2018 Chrysler 300s with the V8 Hemi. I upgraded a few things like cold air intake (Airaid), 40 series Flowmaster, tinted the windows and upgraded the sound system (Sundown Audio). I am still blown away every time I go out in it. Best car I have ever owned.
No one has paid that, ever, for a 300. Look at any listing, they are typically 15-20% off MSRP. EDIT: To be clear, I completely agree with you. I had a 2017 300S for a year and liked it quite a bit but it's absolutely without a doubt not worth anywhere near 50k (sticker was $52k)
Just buy a 1 year old model with less than 20,000 miles for $25k. They might be ex-rentals but given that they're so cheap just add on an extended warranty for $2700. At that price point they're comfy, pretty fast and the Garmin based infotainment system works well.
Had one for a rental for a week, it was a good car, awd did make a clunky noise from time to time which would concern me if I owned one. (my Escalade is awd and doesn't do this) other than that very comfortable and great driving experience.
It’s not. It used Mercedes suspension but a new version of the LH platform called the LX. Stupid auto journalists thought that meant Mercedes architecture
I own one of those 300 and I really like them! I love the way that look perfect Style no need to change anything outside ,Very fast and powerful engine .the bad news they got 2 full pumps ,this year 50k , in about a year 20k second year 10k and then pretty much for free. So not worth it buying a brand new one .
I’m an love with this car, I had leased it twice as much I love it, best handling best design best material, and am so Pissed off on chrysler for not making it anymore.
Carcaine, I just knew someone would make that OBVIOUS observation. 300s have been ALWAYS (since its '05 MY start) IMPORTED FROM ONTARIO and never assembled "over here". Just as "MoPar minivans " (300s / Chargers/ Challengers from Brampton, factory built by AMC, by the way, while the minivans from Windsor). Main difference for using those Ontario towns (all of them Detroit suburbs) is not the quality, but the "loonies" as the Canadian dollar has historically been below the "buck" by a margin (right now a loonie is about U$0.76).
I honestly love the rotary shifter. I wasn't too sure in my 200 at first but you really get used to it quick and i find it makes the overall center consol layout alot cleaner.
I bought a new 2014 and put on 212,000 miles never had 1 issue. Good friend has a 2010 with 297,000 miles had to replace the fuel pump that's it. These are sweet cars perfect for highway driving
I have a 2014 300S, 3.6 RWD which is basically identical . I think for most people, All Wheel Drive is a waste of money and gives much worse fuel economy. Honestly, my 300 will cruise all day from 60-80 mph and will give me anywhere from 31 to 33 mpg = courtesy of the 8-speed transmission It is truly amazing. I drove it from NJ to South Florida (1,200 miles) and I only used about 37 gallons of gas, or basically 2 fill-ups. I used to have a 2004 Mini Cooper S JCW with a manual and the mpg on my Chrysler is almost identical on the highway (and the cooper requires premium fuel, which the 300 doesn’t). I have had it for exactly 5 years, with less than 50k miles and I have had zero issues with it. If I had to do it again, I would much rather buy a used one or a demo, because this body style has been around since 2011, and the cars are basically identical (the earlier V8’s didn’t come with the 8-speed. My car drives great, with plenty of power, has had zero issues and costs very little to operate. Looks cool too, but I am really surprised that Chrysler hasn’t updated the basic car in NINE YEARS!!
looking to buy a used one, but most of the ones I am finding are AWD, not necessary since I live in TX. Most of the RWD are base models with no options. Thanks for the "review".

Not buying it at $50k... buuuut, in the Minneapolis market, a two year old used one with this same spec and around 30k miles sells for about $22k... and for that price, I just might.
One of the sexiest cars. Give it to me in White with blacked out windows, and those or the other sport wheels. Unfortunately I drive 50k miles a year and it's a Chrysler... So basically an unreliable POS. Very sad about that.
I am not an American car guy. I love imports, having only owned Japanese and Korean cars. However, I had an accident last fall and was given a 300 as a rental for a week. I loved that car. It was quiet, smooth, and comfortable, and the handling was pretty great in comparison to most sedans these days. I honestly looked into purchasing one and found several good deals on a current year model year CPO but just couldn’t bring myself to bite the bullet because of the stigma around FCA vehicles being junk. I really wish Chrysler would get their life together and up their quality, because I would totally buy one of these (not for 50k but maybe high 30’s. )
Still gorgeous. The EPA underrated it. My 15 C got 32mpg routinely on the highway. The S gets real dual exhaust on the v6 and v8. Uconnect is one of the best in the biz. Only downside is if you like any type of performance driving you can feel the weight. Build quality was beyond reproach. It took one day to get used to the sifter nob.
This ride must have the classic look Not sporty look Give it a classy look with a V8 now you got a sleeper If I want sporty look I will get a challenger although I am a Mustang guy Less weight and more power Good combo Chrysler’s and chevy are overweight pigs
I have 2014 300c. I love my car. My husband wasn't crazy about it at first...till his truck went into the shop. He started driving mine, he quickly changed his mind. With most manufacturers doing away with large sedans, I hope chrysler 300 sticks around, but i think its time for redesign. And bring back SRT!
Thanks Mike for a good review. The 300 still shares the old chassis of the E-Class I think?? Which is not a bad thing. I noticed that FCA is still part sourcing MB window switches etc as a friend just bought a new Jeep Cherokee and they are the same switches I had in my 2003 MB C-class. As for 50k? Yep, that is way too much BUT if you think of it has an older E-Class for less money then it may work. I would not pay 50K for it.

Overall, quite happy with the 300 C...purchase price was
billy mc I don’t know where you guys are looking but I found my 300 for only 21,990 almost 22 and it only had 8 miles
billy mc my 300 is also a 2019 for your information it was a good deal
billy mc only 21,990 for a 2019
It’s the kind of thing you either love it or not.
I love these cars. It's big, roomy, and handles great. I can honestly say I would buy a V6 in this car but preowned or on sale.
Kudos to TFL for giving this young man a chance to hone his craft with some camera time. He's getting better with every review.
Much less annoying than fatso Roman or that dorky young guy who always whines about his tesla.
Always thought the 300 was a beautiful car.
$50,000 lol heck no. Like most cars buy a low mileage one that's a couple years old for about 50% off of original price.
stangtrax can get a Lexus for that money tbh better car nd reliable
If you could get a SRT 300 again with the 6.4 hemi 50k would be fair in my opinion
@@dillonsrt absolutely wish that was an option.
Dillon Hughes in Australia;)
For $50,000 it should come standard with a Hemi!!
CarGurus has several new ones with hemi for around 30k
You can get a new 300 Touring for about 25 grand.
moonbeamskies 20 in my area.
Australia price is with 10% gst, 5% tariffs, 33% lct = $55000aud without taxes in Australia
American sticker prices are just a suggestion. Discounts are heavy. The car looks great and that quietness is amazing.
got a 2019 Chrysler 300S trim (no packages, completely standard) for $20k from Hertz. this car will definitely make your friends jealous.
It’s NOT worth $50k with that V6, for the same money you could have a KIA Stinger GT with more options and a nicer interior..
@The Terminator You'd be driving the better car, Plain and simple.
Older German platform without all the German headaches.Win-win
Not a german platform

Yea a 50.000$ "luxury sedan" thats based on a 1995 Mercedes. How does it feel driving a 2019 luxury car that's based on our tech from 24 years ago? lmao sucks
Tobias Gebhardt it’s absolutely great for the base price of the Chrysler and charger. It not for 50k
Yup
Chrysler 3.6 pentastar is a pretty dependable engine
One of Wards top 10 and that's good.
Scotty Kilmer has entered the chat......
Chrysler has left the chat.
Matthew Baquero F*** Scotty Kilmer, I absolutely hate that man and his bias towards Toyota and against virtually everything else!
@@elijahfrancis3009 He only sounds truthful too people that don't know munch about cars.
@@kingjlinza FACTS
Scotty is braindead idiot.... talks shit about cars he has never owned..... and has no reasonable evidence to back up his statements
Bu bu bu bu but but Scotty Kilmer said...
Lex Zeus Ohhsixayessthreefiddy 😂😂 he don’t approved
Was I the only one looking for scotty comments saying not to buy Chrysler.
Scotty also said don't get an all American zero emissions brand and to never modify your car ever, despite his motorcycle being modified.
Rev up your Pentastar.........
Buy a Toyota Selica.
I love it. Which i had one.
But that knob as a gear Shifter was a deal break choice they made.
@@kh040 I have a 13' AWD 300S Glacier Edition, mid-muffler delete makes it sound how a Hemi should.
Fruitably YT nothing wrong with Lebarons.
Reliable !?😂😂😂 goodluck with the transmission going out electrical issues lol and other issues is gonna have
Mgoblagulkablong I’d say nearly every Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram after 2011 is more reliable than people think. Certainly the 300.
the 8 speed zf transmission is the best in the world.
I have '13 SRT8 CORE. Bought the car brand new, ever after the years have passed, I still enjoy driving this beast.
It’s a $50,000 asking price - they discount that fairly heavily in the Miami area.
Might be old, but still one of the best looking sedans out there
Great car, but for 50k to much.
50k new and two years later it’s worth like 18k
Just buy a 1 year old model with less than 20,000 miles for $25k. They might be ex-rentals but given that they're so cheap just add on an extended warranty for $2700. At that price point they're comfy, pretty fast and the Garmin based infotainment system works well.
Buy one pre owned, save 38 %
Val St that’s why everyone buys the scat pack now
Absolutely love the 300! Inside and out
This is about $10,0000 over the MSRP.
$29,999 is more like it.
10,000 not 100,000
They are selling for that now.
Had one for a rental for a week, it was a good car, awd did make a clunky noise from time to time which would concern me if I owned one. (my Escalade is awd and doesn't do this) other than that very comfortable and great driving experience.
If it was less than 39 degrees Fahrenheit it is the awd kicking in
Underneath its a Mercedes W210 :)
Actually, its the urban legend. 2019 version doesnt have much in common with the mercedes. check it out
A relic from the DaimlerChrysler fiasco. I still can't believe FCA hasn't moved so far away from those troubled designs that no one would remember.
It’s not. It used Mercedes suspension but a new version of the LH platform called the LX. Stupid auto journalists thought that meant Mercedes architecture
Then it needs MB partnership for an update.
It's actually a W211 Mercedes.
It just isn’t. Why lie about this? The 300 assembly plant is in Ontario!
Which is in North America
Built in my hometown of Brampton
9:19
@Benjamin Burkhardt Trump is a complete idiot
Good video, but the v8 is the one you want
Most American car built on 5 gens old Mercedes e class platform 😂
I honestly love the rotary shifter. I wasn't too sure in my 200 at first but you really get used to it quick and i find it makes the overall center consol layout alot cleaner.
The 300 is dope. Great review. What shoes are those you're wearing?
I bought a new 2014 and put on 212,000 miles never had 1 issue. Good friend has a 2010 with 297,000 miles had to replace the fuel pump that's it. These are sweet cars perfect for highway driving
Replace "American" with "unreliable"
I like it
Good review
Good work
I miss the longer trunks. The shorter trunk opening makes it difficult if not impossible to load large objects.
The most american car, made in Ontario Canada
interpol007 Canada is apart of North America
I would prefer a Cadillac for that price!
Basik Vids right
Chrysler made a big mistake not offering the all wheel drive option combined with the 5.7 Hemi engine anymore. They have to bring that back.
Great cars and very happy to run over 100 mph, all day long! Worth every penny!
unfortunate that a Chrysler is the most american car.... when they're owned by Fiat a Italian company

Not buying it at $50k... buuuut, in the Minneapolis market, a two year old used one with this same spec and around 30k miles sells for about $22k... and for that price, I just might.
One of the sexiest cars. Give it to me in White with blacked out windows, and those or the other sport wheels.

If that’s the most American sedan we do need to make America great again
300 the best sedan in the world 😍❤

Less weight and more power
